According to TMZ, insiders said both Swift and Kelce declined their separate invites to the star-studded 2024 Met Gala, which will be held on the first Monday of May in New York City.

This year’s Met Gala theme, “The Garden of Time,” will celebrate the Costume Institute’s new exhibition, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” per reporting from Vogue.

Swift will be in Paris preparing for her ‘Eras Tour’ when the event takes place.

While celebrities pack the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the event, Swift will be busy in Paris preparing for her next set of international dates on her massively successful Eras Tour. She took the month of April off after performing to sold-out crowds in Australia, Japan, and Singapore.

It remains unclear why the Kansas City Chiefs star will be missing the event, however, he may be declining based on his girlfriend’s absence.

Although Kelce and Swift have taken their relationship public, they’ve yet to walk a red carpet together. While they attended Madonna‘s Oscars after-party together, the couple didn’t fuss about their arrival.

Nonetheless, the couple have been spotted out and about on several occasions.

Of course, the pair have been seen following Kelce’s regular season games — and created a buzz when they hit up Sin City to celebrate the NFL star’s most recent Super Bowl win — as well as countless date nights and even cameos on Saturday Night Live.

Most recently, Swift and Kelce were spotted at Coachella, where they enjoyed music and supported their famous friends headlining the music festival from the pit.

“The ni**a (Michael Jordan) walk out here, I swear to god, it seem like everything is stopped. This ni**a is moving in slow motion. Every motherf**ker in here looking at him and he know it. Never seen anyone own the stage like bro,” Garnett narrated.

Paul Pierce had a similar tale as his co-panel member. During his college days, Michael Jordan and the Bulls visited Pierce’s university to play a preseason game against the Seattle SuperSonics. The then-Kansas Jayhawk revealed how MJ came to the occasion wearing a suit, leaving him amazed.

Taylor Swift fans need to calm down, according to Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole. The influencer has been hit with “constant vitriol” surrounding the pop star’s new album release, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Kelce and Nicole dated on and off for five years before ending their relationship in May 2022. Nearly two years later, with her ex now in one of the world’s most high-profile celebrity relationships, the fitness guru is grappling with the fallout from her past romance.

Swift dropped her eleventh studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, on Friday, and the day before the release, Nicole wrote on X: “There’s just no way I can fully digest all these new albums. I’m still on Cowboy Carter,” referencing Beyonce’s latest album.

Nicole took to X on Thursday with a cryptic message about the backlash she said she’s been experiencing. While she didn’t address Swift fans specifically, it quickly became clear the post was connected to the new album.

“I’m unproblematic. Mind my business. Never respond to the constant vitriol,” she wrote. “Solid as they come & don’t expect a pat on the back for it either.”

While she touted her strength, she also said, “Everyone has a breaking point” and that she “would love for ‘yall’ (because you know exactly who you are) to leave me alone.”

Support for Nicole quickly filled the comments, with publicist Dara Avenius writing: “I’m a Swiftie, but hate that you’re caught up in that. It’s not cool.”

“They are just sad miserable humans for the most part,” photographer Stephanie Cox echoed. “You don’t deserve all the hate you are getting.”

Another comment with nearly 300 likes said that Swifties “who come to Kayla’s page to hate…embarrass your idol and also the few normal people that do like TSwift by being the stereotype of jealous, insecure, juvenile mean girls.”

ICYMI … Taylor’s new song, “thanK you aIMee,” is a thinly veiled revenge anthem against Kim — hence the capitalized letters in the title. In the song, Taylor blasts a bully from her past … slamming the woman as a “bronze spray-tanned statue.”

And, only a few days after the track’s release, Kim’s lost more than 100,000 fans on social media … with countless Swifties spamming her Instagram and X pages with vitriol.

One fan wrote … “Finally someone stood up to Aimee.”

Another said Kim should’ve apologized back in 2016, after she tried to paint Taylor as a liar by releasing a private conversation between the singer and her ex-husband, Kanye West.

However, not everyone has viewed this new diss track as a negative … with several of Kim’s fans claiming this song has only further elevated the SKIMS mogul’s fame. Others have called on Kim’s momager Kris Jenner to cash in on the drama by responding to the diss track on the family’s Hulu show.

BTW, losing 100K on social is basically a blip on Kim’s radar — she does still have 363 million, just on Instagram.

Taylor has made it no secret she’s still upset with Kim all these years later — in her ‘TIME’ Person of the Year cover story, she called out Kim by name for trying to get her canceled.

She said … “You have a fully manufactured frame job, in an illegally recorded phone call, which Kim Kardashian edited and then put out to say to everyone that I was a liar … That took me down psychologically to a place I’ve never been before.”

Kim has ignored the drama for the most part … but this might be over the fact her daughter, North West, is a Taylor Swift fan — which TS references in ‘aIMee.’

Penny Hardaway may not have enjoyed a lengthy prime, but he still has a lot to be proud of in his NBA career, especially during his time with the Orlando Magic. For one, it was in Orlando where Hardaway flourished and formed a dynamic duo with Shaquille O’Neal.

Apart from that, Penny takes pride in his Magic squad being the only team to beat prime Michael Jordan and the notourius Chicago Bulls in the 90s.

“We obviously caught Michael at a great time (with him) just coming back from baseball,” Hardaway said on ESPN’s The Jump in 2020 via Commercial Appeal. “But at the end of the day, we do have those bragging rights as the last team … during that span to have beaten that team — that great team.”

‘Cross your thoughtless heart / Only liquor anoints you / She’s the albatross / She is here to destroy you,’ goes the chorus.

‘Why is no one talking about The Albatross is also a Travis song? one TikTok user asked.

‘Everybody was telling Travis, ‘Be careful, don’t get with her. She’ll ruin your career,’ the fan continued.

‘Don’t get with her, she’ll ruin your career. Are you paying attention to football? Is she weighing you down? Is he no longer good because he’s dating Taylor Swift?’ she queried.

‘That was the entire middle part of their relationship,’ the poster claimed.

‘The first verse talks about someone warning a suitor about dating her. Love is fragile, don’t let the winds that come with her fame snuff it out,’ another fan posited on X, former known as Twitter.

‘The second verse,’ the poster continued, ‘is about how she is shut away for the good of her potential partners. She’s the bad seed and the temptress, so shutting her away reduces the danger (less dagger to sharpen). But she escapes confinement anyway to visit her partner (who dgaf about the danger).’

Yet another lyric investigator claimed the track is about ‘men are scared of falling for her because she is a “man-eater” and “serial-dater” but then they DO fall for her.’

‘Given everyone warned Trav he was distracted all because of her, the football dudes made her feel she was the albatross around his neck,” author continued, adding that Kelce ‘never made her feel that way and cast off all the doomsayers. In fact, he played better when she was there.’

The NFL reported regular season viewership was up 7-percent from the year before.

The song seems to be a literary reference to Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s poem The Rime of the Ancient Mariner. The albatross was considered good luck until a sailor killed it and was forced to wear the dead bird around his neck as punishment.

Toward the end of the song, Swift changes the chorus to the first person, singing ‘So I crossed my thoughtless heart/Spread my wings like a parachute/ I’m the albatross/I swept in at the rescue.’

After the game, Jordan couldn’t care less about his scoring total as he lamented his team’s meltdown late in the fourth quarter. They led by six points with under a minute to go but got outscored by the Magic, 7-1, in that stretch to send the game to overtime.

“The points don’t make a difference to me,” Jordan said.
