One of Nikola Jokic’s older brothers punched a fan after last night’s game. 😳 The NBA is investigating the altercation.

A physical altercation involving Nikola Jokic’s brothers and a fan mars Game 2 of the Nuggets-Lakers playoff series.

Nikola Jokic's Brother Strahinja Threw A Punch At A Fan During Nuggets-Lakers Game

The 2024 NBA playoffs took an unexpected turn when Nikola Jokic’s brothers, Nemanja and Strahinja, found themselves embroiled in a physical altercation during Game 2 of the playoff series between the Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Lakers. The incident occurred shortly after Jamal Murray’s buzzer-beater secured a thrilling 101-99 victory for the Nuggets, leaving fans stunned by the dramatic turn of events.

Video footage captured the moment when Strahinja, one of Jokic’s brothers, was engaged in a heated exchange with a fan in the stands. As tensions escalated, Strahinja was seen stepping over seats before landing a powerful punch on the fan’s face. The altercation quickly drew attention from bystanders, including Nemanja and even Jokic’s wife, Natalija, who attempted to intervene and defuse the situation.

While the exact cause of the altercation remains unclear, witnesses reported that Strahinja and the fan had been exchanging words before the situation escalated into physical violence. The incident underscores the passionate support that Jokic’s brothers provide during games, but it also raises concerns about the line between fervent fandom and unacceptable behavior.

This isn’t the first time that Jokic’s brothers have made headlines for their behavior. In the past, they have been known to passionately defend their brother on and off the court, sometimes exhibiting confrontational behavior towards players, referees, and fans alike. However, this latest incident has garnered significant attention, prompting the NBA to launch an investigation into the matter.

The altercation between Strahinja and the fan has sparked discussions about fan conduct and player safety, with many calling for stricter measures to ensure a safe and respectful environment at NBA games. While passionate support is a hallmark of sports fandom, violence and aggression have no place in the stands.

As the NBA investigates the incident, questions remain about the potential consequences for Strahinja and the fan involved. Regardless of the outcome, the altercation serves as a reminder of the intense emotions and high stakes that accompany playoff basketball, both on and off the court.

Breaking: D’Angelo Russell Makes Bold Promise To Lakers Fans After Game 2 Loss…

D’Angelo Russell urges fans not to give up on the Lakers.

    D'Angelo Russell

After giving up a 20-point lead to the defending champs on Monday, the Los Angeles Lakers did not position themselves well to pull off an upset in round one. Even so, it didn’t stop veteran guard D’Angelo Russell from making a bold promise to Lakers Nation on his discord.

“I can’t say what I wanna say because then I’ll get fined and it will go viral. Ima just say I told you I would make them b*tches. We still gonna win,” wrote Russell. “Don’t give up on us.”

It’s not a huge mystery what D’Angelo is holding himself back from saying. It is well known that the Lakers were displeased with the officiating in the game, especially in the end when they made some controversial calls that could have gone either way. LeBron James was the first to voice his frustration after the game, and he directly challenged the refs after they overturned a clear foul on D’Angelo Russell.

The feeling in the Lakers locker room is that the mistakes from the refs cost them the game and, quite possibly, their season. At one point during the night, the Lakers were rolling with a 20-point lead, and the trio of LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and D’Angelo Russell were hitting their shots all night long.

In the end, however, it still wasn’t enough to put away the Nuggets, who stormed back in the final quarter to win the game off a Jamal Murray game-winner. As they head back home to Los Angeles, the Lakers will be desperately looking for answers on any way to slow down this offensive juggernaut. Despite Russell’s unwavering confidence, the Lakers’ are facing incredible odds to even push this series past five games. It will take nothing short of a miracle to win the next four out of 6 against the team.

    Los Angeles Lakers Are Outmatched

The Purple and Gold came into this post-season with a lot of optimism about their team. With their core players healthy and coming off an impressive stretch toward the end of the regular season, it’s no surprise that the Lakers embrace the challenge of facing Denver and there was some level of faith that this year would be different than how it played out in 2023.

Through the first two games, however, the signs are not looking good for the Lakers. Game 1 wasn’t that close, and the Nuggets pulled away in the second half thanks to big performances from Nikola Jokic and Michael Porter Jr. Game 2 appeared to go the other way for a while until the Nuggets mounted an insane comeback in the final minutes to beat the Lakers by two points.

So far, it appears that nothing has changed for either team since last season, and it looks like history may be bound to repeat itself in this Western Conference rematch. Ultimately, the game that will determine this series happens on Thursday back in Los Angeles. If the Lakers cannot win Game 3 and show some fight at home, they will be facing the impossible challenge of trying to come back from down 3-0.

Head coach Darvin Ham implied after the first game that he still to some tricks up his sleeve but it will take more than that to keep the Lakers’ season alive for much longer. In the minds of most experts, this series is already over and the Lakers never really stood a chance.

  • George Karl Brutally Trolls Anthony Davis For Being Named Top 75 Player In NBA History..

George Karl Brutally Trolls Anthony Davis For Being Named Top 75 Player In NBA History..

George Karl says Anthony Davis is not Top 75 All-Time.

    Anthony Davis

In the aftermath of the Lakers’ crushing defeat against the Nuggets on Monday, former Denver coach George Karl felt it appropriate to share his thoughts on Anthony Davis‘ all-time ranking. In a post on X, he took a shot at the Lakers big man and challenged his place as one of the league’s Top 75 players.

“Nuggets fans, as u watch the final 2-3 games of this Lakers series, remember that the great Alex English wasn’t voted a top 75 NBA all-time player but Anthony Davis was,” wrote Karl.

Anthony Davis was named to the NBA’s special 75th-anniversary roster a few years back, and many would argue that he earned that honor as a 9x All-Star, 4x All-NBA player, and NBA champion. He’s been considered one of the best big men in the game for years now, but with only one championship to his name, there is still some room to doubt his rank among the all-time greats.

For George Karl, the Lakers’ continued struggles in the playoffs are just proof that he doesn’t belong on the Top 75 list. Instead, he seems to believe that Alex English deserved the nod. English, a 15-year veteran, is a Hall of Famer best known for his time with the Nuggets, where he averaged 25.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game as an 8x All-Star.

English was perhaps among the most glaring snubs from the NBA’s Top 75 but Anthony Davis has a pretty solid case as well. Besides being an NBA champion, what he’s done on the Lakers over the past five seasons is more than enough to put him on par with some of the greatest big men ever.

Of course, with just a few long post-season run to date, Davis’ career is still lacking in some areas and he’s overdue for some real success with the Purple and Gold. For better or worse, these next few years will be his last chance to make a statement on his legacy and prove to everyone that the title run in 2020 was more than just a one-off fluke.

This Is A Legacy Series For Anthony Davis

The Lakers have lost 10 straight games against the Denver Nuggets and not even a 20-point lead could snap that streak for Game 2 on Monday. Despite the team’s early playoff struggles, Anthony Davis has been doing his part with averages of 32 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks per game in the first two games.

By all accounts, Davis has been the catalyst for this Lakers team and his presence on the inside is arguably the only reason they’ve even gotten this far. Without him, the Lakers would be reliant on LeBron James to carry the load for them.

Even so, it seems some critics aren’t sold on Davis as an elite playoff performer. With a history of brutal injuries and an underwhelming series, Davis goes into Game 3 with something to prove and he’ll be doing everything he can to avoid tainting his resume by being swept to the same team two years in a row.

At 31 years old now, Anthony Davis only has so much time left in his NBA journey and this series could set the stage for how he finishes. At the very least, losses in Games 3 and 4 will mean the end of this season and it will mark another wasted campaign for the Purple and Gold. It’s up to the superstar big man to beat the odds, prove the doubters wrong, and will his team to victory when they need it the most.

  • BREAKING: Christian Wood and Jarred Vanderbilt are OUT for Game 3 vs. Nuggets on Thursday.

BREAKING: Christian Wood and Jarred Vanderbilt are OUT for Game 3 vs. Nuggets on Thursday.

Will LA be getting some reinforcements tomorrow?

The Los Angeles Lakers could be getting back reinforcements in Game 3 of their Western Conference first-round series against the Denver Nuggets, or maybe not.

Key Laker role players Jarred Vanderbilt and Christian Wood were said to return by Thursday’s game possibly; however, head coach Darvin Ham had no update on their availability as of Wednesday.

Lakers insider for Clutch Points Michael Corvo reported via X.

Lakers team reporter Mike Trudell also said the two were limited participants during Wednesday’s practice.

Although no significant update was released, Laker reporters and insiders shared video of Wood getting some shots up after practice.

Wood has missed the last two months of the season after undergoing an arthroscopic surgical procedure on his left knee. The 28-year-old played in 50 games in his first year in LA, averaging 6.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.0 assists.

As for Vanderbilt, the chances he plays in Game 3 seem slim. He’s missed the last two months of the season due to a right mid-foot injury. Vanderbilt last played on February 1 and will look to return to make an impact in these playoffs if he’s ready.

LA could use all the help they could get.

“I’m Not That Dumb”: Patrick Mahomes Puts the Haters in Their Place Who Accused Him of Handing the Lombardi to a Stranger

Tom Brady Thwarting Patrick Mahomes' Three-Peat Ambitions? AFC West Steals Spotlight

Every win deserves a celebration and Patrick Mahomes has never shied away from celebrating his wins. After winning the Super Bowl for the second time, Mahomes and his team had a wild celebration during the parade. There was a lot of champagne, a lot of support from the crowd, and a lot of excitement from both the players as well as the crowd. Amid all the celebration mayhem, Mahomes was captured doing something unthinkable: handing over the Lombardi Trophy to a random stranger in the crowd. However, Mahomes recently made the situation clear as he sat down with Complex.

While interviewing with Complex, the KC Chiefs QB was reacting to some of the tweets that mentioned him. Mahomes went on to react to numerous tweets that mentioned his teammate Travis Kelce as well as his own graduation. Interestingly, one of the comments accused Mahomes of being so drunk that he handed over the trophy to a member of the crowd.

When he came across the tweet, he had an interesting reaction. He went on to say, “ That was a replica trophy. I’m not that dumb just to hand the trophy in the middle of a crowd.” Mahomes finally silenced all the haters who claimed that he was disrespecting the Lombardi Trophy. Interestingly, Mahomes isn’t the only QB with overboard celebrations after winning. The most successful QB in history has also had some trouble with Super Bowl celebrations.

Tom Brady vs Patrick Mahomes: Who had the wilder celebration?

The year was 2021 and Tom Brady had just won his 7th Lombardi Trophy with the Bucs. As COVID protocol was still in place, the QB took to the water and a boat to celebrate. Interestingly, the QB did something very appalling when he celebrated the win. While he was on a boat, he ended up throwing the Lombardi Trophy on another boat. In true QB fashion, Brady’s throw was accurate. However, the QB since then has admitted to being inebriated when he decided to throw the trophy.

According to Sports Illustrated, he even admitted this on his podcast. He said, “I was definitely inebriated because had I not been there, I don’t think I would’ve taken the chance in realizing that thing would’ve fallen like 90 feet to the bottom of the bay. Would’ve been a disaster for me.”

“Exclusive: Why Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Aren’t Expected at Met Gala 2024”

Why Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Are Skipping 2024 Met Gala | Us Weekly

We are only weeks away from the 2024 Met Gala, but will Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce make their red-carpet debut there?

TMZ reports that it’s unlikely since they both “RSVP’d no” to the “individual invitations.”

The star-studded event takes place just days before Swift takes the stage for her Eras tour stop in Paris.

Swift hasn’t been to the Met Gala since 2016.

It is rumored that the 2016 Met Gala was where she met her now ex Joe Alwyn.

In her 2017 song “Dress,” Taylor sings, “Flashback when you met me / Your buzz cut and my hair bleached.”

The lyrics correspond to their looks for that year’s event.

At the 2016 Met Gala, Taylor also had an epic dance-off with Tom Hiddleston. Taylor and Tom went public with their relationship months after their dance-off and ended things in September 2016.

Swift seemingly referenced that night at the gala in another song, “Getaway Car,” with lyrics like, “The ties were black, the lies were white / The shades of gray in candlelight / I wanted to leave him / I needed a reason.”

We were really hoping that a Met Gala date night with Travis would inspire another song for Taylor!
