SINGAPORE: Excited Swifties were all over TikTok on Tuesday afternoon (Feb 27) as the most popular pop star across the globe landed in Singapore four days before her first concert, which is scheduled to be held later this week.

“MOTHER IS HERE. IM NOT OK. WE ARE BREATHING THE SAME AIR,” wrote a TikTok user who goes by @_aysilah. Her 15-second video of what appears to be Swift’s plane landing at Seletar Airport has been viewed over 186,500 times in the past 12 hours, even though there’s no sign of Swift herself.

Dozens of fans flocked to Seletar Airport, hoping to catch a glimpse of Swift, 34, through heavy barricades. The singer arrived in Singapore shortly past 5 pm after leaving Australia earlier that day.

Swift will play six sold-out concerts at the National Stadium from March 2 to 9, with around 300,000 tickets sold.

As Singapore is the only stop in Southeast Asia on The Eras Tour, Swifties from other countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines will be coming in droves in the next few days.

“Mother has arrived in singapore! have a good time in sg!” wrote another TikTok user, @spideyperry.

However, his video showed no sign of the pop sensation as it only showed the convoy of large black vehicles that transported Swift and her team.

Taylor Swift does not walk red carpets with her boyfriends, and the Met Gala is sort of a loaded event in the Swift-verse.

 

It’s where she danced with Tom Hiddleston, on the same night she met Joe Alwyn, whom she would date right after Hiddleston. To put Kelce into the mix might be too much.

It would be a little odd for her to attend solo given how public her relationship is right now, but it would also be anomalous to go together.

Plus, in the eight years since Swift last showed up, the Kardashians have all but taken over the steps. Friends modeling for Skims is one thing, but actually running into nemesis Kim is another.

If she attends, it would be a cool way for the billionaire to cap off the promotional run for her 11th album, The Tortured Poets Department, before she goes back on tour.

Additionally, it looks like the no-Met days might have been due to her years-long relationship with camera-shy Joe Alwyn. Which is…not a problem Kelce has. Fans were shocked to see Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce mingling amongst the massive crowd of festivalgoers at Coachella 2024 over the weekend.

The lovebirds, both 34, were spotted dancing together during Ice Spice’s set on Saturday, which marked day two of the festival in Indio, Calif.

At one point, the Kansas City Chiefs player protectively wrapped his arms around the “Cruel Summer” songstress as they swayed from side to side.

Fans were quick to share clips to social media of the duo casually entering the VIP area, where they stood beside Swift’s Eras Tour opener, Sabrina Carpenter, and her new man, actor Barry Keoghan.

Kelce – who was also seen grooving backstage during Jack Antonoff’s Bleachers set earlier in the night – excitedly danced when the “Munch” rapper began playing Swift’s own hit, “Karma.”

“I never thought I would be able to see Taylor in Coachella or in the middle of the crowd again in my life,” one fan commented on a TikTok video of the pair holding each other closely in the crowd.
