The Kansas City Chiefs first-round draft pick is already earning comparisons to his favorite NFL player from his new head coach.

Back at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Texas WR Xavier Worthy revealed to reporters that he idolized Philadelphia Eagles WR DeSean Jackson growing up.

“Desean Jackson was my idol growing up, that was my favorite player growing up,” Worthy said.

“I’ve watched his film since I was five years old and he’s been my favorite player since.”

Well, Andy Reid just so happened to draft Jackson and has a pretty good idea of the type of player he is. Many in the Kansas City media immediately think of Tyreek Hill as a comparison for Xavier Worthy because of his blazing-fast 40-yard dash time,but not many consider Jackson. Reid likens Worthy’s ability as a punt returner and body type to what he and Brett Veach had with Jackson in Philly.

“They’re different (Tyreek Hill and Xavier Worthy), and he’ll put his own mark on things once he gets a feel for it,” Reid said. “That wasn’t necessarily the comparison, as much as it was him being a good football player who was a good wide receiver. Now you add in there the return ability. I’ve had some guys like that Tyreek, DeSean Jackson – probably body type a little more like DeSean.”

When Worthy sat down with reporters Thursday evening, he explained what it feels like to be drafted by Reid, who also coached his idol. His answer tells you all that you need to know.

“It makes me at ease just to see a coach that drafted a guy similar to me as well and him having the success he had in this system under Andy Reid,” Worthy told reporters. “It’s just amazing to be able to have a coach that actually gets you as a player and knows you as a player because he’s had that player before.”

Prior to the big game starting, Jay-Z took his girls to visit the field, and his eldest recreated one of her viral photos from her time at the 2020 Suρer Bowl, during which the Chiefs also played (and won) against the San Francisco 49ers.

In recreating the photo, Blue showed off just how much she has grown up in the last four years. In the 2020 version, she’s seen jumping up in the air wearing a ruffled red shirt paired with a black mini skirt, a leather jacket and combat boots, while for this year’s game she struck the same pose, donning blue jean cargo pants, black and blue Nike sneakers, and an Off-White, black and white bоmber with orange accents.

Taking to X Taylor penned: ‘I wish I could un-recall how we almost had it all…’

She then added: ‘Pre-order THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT on phantom clear vinyl now exclusively at Target.’

Taylor’s have been going wild predicting digs at her famous exes after the Tortured Poets Department track list was revealed in February.

She announced her 11th studio album at the Grammy Awards earlier this year after shared the track listing for the record, which includes collaborations with Post Malone and Florence + the Machine.

After the track list was revealed fans were going mad for the song names, linking some of them to her former boyfriends Joe and Harry Styles.

One eagle-eyed Twitter user pointed out that there is a track called So Long, London – which could refer to British-born Joe.

One penned: ‘Joe alwyn and his publicist seeing ‘so long, london’ just drop on the tracklist…’

Another referring to Joe read: ‘so long, london, the smallest man who ever lived, my boy only breaks his favorite toys, i can fix him (no really i can) BYE JOE ALWYN.’

Another fan wrote: ‘SO LONG LONDON?? I LOVE YOU ITS RUINING MY LIFE?? Joe Alwyn count your days #THETORTUEDPOETSDEPARTMENT.’

In addition some think the album title is a reference to Joe too and could be a savage nod to the group chat Joe shared with pals Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott.

Back in 2022, Joe revealed a mutual friend created a WhatsApp group with him and Paul called The Tortured Man Club.

They later explained to Variety that Andrew ‘started the group,’ with Paul saying: ‘He’s just on it every day. He’s just on it by himself.’

Joe jokingly added: ‘Just messaging himself good mornings.’

Fans went wild, with one penning on X: ‘THIS IS THE BREAKUP ALBUM’

Another wrote: ‘I hope for Joe’s sake that he still has that group chat. I feel like he’s gonna need it’

Others made the connection to singer Harry Styles, 30, after the track list was revealed.

One noted a song called ‘loml’ which could be a reference to one of Harry’s songs called Love of My Life.

A fan shared a screenshot of the songs next to each other and wrote on Twitter: ‘No im sorry…’

Another fan pointed out that one of Taylor’s new tracks is called But Daddy I Love Him – after Harry was once seen wearing a T-shirt with the logo But Daddy I Love Him on it.

The fan shared the snap of Harry in the outfit alongside the track name and excitedly wrote: ‘EXCUSE ME ?!?!!!!!!!’

Taylor and Harry dated from late 2012 until early 2013, and the star has penned several songs about him in the past.

In February Taylor shared the full track list for her brand new album Tortured Poets Department which includes collaborations with two top artists.

Post Malone and Florence + the Machine will feature on the record which will be released next Friday.

Taylor took to Instagram to share a photo of some artwork for the record, which featured a black and white photo of herself and ‘I love you, it’s ruining my life’ written over her shoulder as well as the list of songs.

Side A begins with the Post Malone collaboration, Fortnight, and is followed by the album’s title track, My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys and Down Bad.

While Side B has So Long, London, But Daddy I Love Him, Fresh Out the Slammer, and Florida!!!, with the latter song featuring Florence + the Machine.

Side C offers Guilty as Sin?, Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?, I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can), and ‘Ioml’.

The final part of the album, Side D, has I Can Do It With a Broken Heart, The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived, The Alchemy, Clara Bow and bonus track The Manuscript.

In reference to the album’s release date, the post was simply captioned: ‘April 19 [white heart emoji].’
