Football fans have quickly learned Jason Kelce‘s wife, Kylie Kelce, is the real MVP of the family — and her mother-in-law, Donna Kelce, was a fan from the start.

“She is just one of those individuals that takes everything onto herself. She doesn’t need any help,” Donna, 71, exclusively told Us Weekly of Kylie, 31, while promoting her partnership with Heluva Good!Donna took Us inside her bond with Kylie, revealing what brought the pair together when they met. “I think women’s sports, we both love that. A lot of just really fun things,” she explained of her relationship with the former field hockey player.Donna and her daughter-in-law have more in common than their love of athletics. “We’re just very similar in our likes and dislikes and how we feel about the world and everything that goes on in the United States,” she continued. “So yeah, we pretty much have the same temperature when it comes to what’s going on.”

The dynamic duo even have a shared interest in entertaining. “Our family has always been very small, just the four of us,” Donna said of sons Jason, 36, and Travis Kelce and their dad, Ed Kelce. “That’s what it was [like] growing up. She has an extended family that’s quite large, so [they’re] used to entertaining, used to making big, big meals and a lot of go-to recipes, for sure.”

Jason and Kylie tied the knot in 2018 and share three daughters: Wyatt, 4, Elliotte, 2, and Bennett, 10 months. Kylie was 38 weeks pregnant with the pair’s third baby when Jason and the Philadelphia Eagles faced off against Travis, 34, and the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII. (The Chiefs ultimately defeated the Eagles in the February 2023 championship.)

While NFL devotees have been fond of the Kelce family for years, their story has charmed a new fanbase thanks in part to Travis’ romance with Taylor Swift. The couple sparked a romance after Travis publicly praised Swift’s Eras Tour on his “New Heights” podcast in July 2023. Two months later, Swift, 34, was spotted cheering on the Chiefs from a VIP suite in Arrowhead Stadium with Donna.

Swift has made several appearances at Chiefs games since — even bringing along some of her famous friends when the team played the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium — but fans have yet to see her and Kylie interact. Donna previously hinted during an October 2023 podcast interview that Kylie likes to be closer to the field, which she confirmed herself before the Chiefs vs. Eagles game in November 2023.

“I’m a stands girl,” Kylie explained. “I love sitting in the stands, cheering with the fans even if it’s in an opposing team’s stadium.”

Jason and the Eagles are out of the running for LVIII after losing to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 32-9 on Monday, January 15, in what was reportedly the last game of his 13-year career. Kylie, Donna and Ed were all in attendance.

“I really like the jalapeño cheddar, and I use that in a seven layered Tex-Mex dip recipe,” Donna told Us of the “tasty” Heluva Good! flavors. “They’re made with real cream and real milk, so they’re very nutritious as well as really good to put on the table and be proud of.”

But despite desperate moves at Red Bull as dusk fell to keep hold of Newey, the game there appears to be up — a massive blow to team principal Christian Horner as he clings to his job after accusations of sending sexually explicit messages to a female member of staff.

It is also believed, though unconfirmed, that Newey and his wife Amanda have been looking to move to Italy.

Red Bull insist Newey is ‘under contract to the end of 2025’.

Newey is known as one of the greatest designers in Formula 1 history and holds the brains behind 13 World Championship titles – six constructors’ crowns and seven for drivers.

Horner was accused of ‘inappropriate behaviour’ by a female employee ahead of the 2024 season.

An internal investigation cleared him of ‘coercive behaviour’ but a bombshell email the next day purported to throw fresh light on the situation.

A day after the internal investigation cleared him, hundreds of messages allegedly from Horner – some sexual – were spilled to the media and F1 powerhouses, but Red Bull affirmed he would not be sacked and his accuser was suspended.

The bombshell email contained 79 documents, including hundreds of messages, many of them of a sexual nature.

The anonymous sender copied in leading people in the sport, such as FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem and F1 chief executive Stefano Domenicali, as well as accredited media gathered in Bahrain for the scandal-ridden opening race of the season.

His accuser has since appealed the verdict of the investigation which exonerated him.

As of March, Newey was reportedly in ‘advanced talks’ to join Ferrari. He is also understood to have an offer from Aston Martin, the team of Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll.

With his car in the middle of the track, the Silver Arrows star was desperate for proceedings to be halted so that he wouldn’t be hit.

Lewis Hamilton’s woes this season continue after another disappointing race at the Chinese GP. A disastrous qualifying session saw him start the race in P18, making things difficult for him but also giving him the chance to make big overtakes. One particular overtake on Nico Hulkenberg caught the attention of many, but Hamilton doesn’t think there was anything special about it.

Hamilton pulled off a splendid move on Hulkenberg as he used the additional pace of his W15 to sweep past the German in a high-speed corner. It was a risky move and any mistake from Hamilton could have resulted in a race ending crash for both parties.

“I’ve done it a million times there, so it wasn’t particularly…I appreciate saying it was creative, but I mean it was pretty straightforward. I mean it was textbook to be honest,” explained Hamilton.

Hamilton’s move on Hulkenberg helped him move to P9, where he finished the Chinese GP. For Hamilton to score points from all the way down in P18, making risky moves like he did on Sunday was vital.

Throughout the Chinese GP race, Hamilton kept complaining about the W15, calling out its pace. He didn’t like the usage of the soft tires, and also expressed his annoyance when he was struggling to overtake the Alpine of Esteban Ocon.

Struggling for pace, the seven-time world champion had no choice but to make audacious moves. They got him up to P8 at one point but after Fernando Alonso pitted for fresher tires towards the end of the race, Hamilton came down a position.

While Hamilton did not have the best of races in Shanghai, he finished second in the Driver of the Day fan pole. The Briton will now hope to have a better race weekend in Miami after arguably his worst start to an F1 season. Hamilton is currently ninth in the standings after five races and has only managed 19 points, seven of which he scored after finishing second during the Chinese GP sprint.

CARLOS Sainz pulled off an epic comeback at the Australian Grand Prix this weekend – and no one looked prouder than his glamorous girlfriend Rebecca Donaldson.

The loved-up couple shared a kiss following Carlos’ win yesterday, and were spotted by fans leaving a hotel hand-in-hand this morning.

Model Rebecca is becoming a regular trackside since she and Carlos began dating last summer, having been spotted at races in Japan, Austin, Singapore, Las Vegas and Bahrain.

Pierre Gasly had a frightening incident in the pits at the Chinese Grand Prix. When the Frenchman came in for the first pit stop, he had a terribly slow change of tires that lasted for over 19 seconds. Amid this sluggish stop, the Alpine crew gave him the green light to go but they had not fitted his rear left tire correctly. This made Gasly stop his car instantaneously after he intended to exit his pit box. However, the result of this stop-start of the #10 car was that a team mechanic fell backward and got a light injury. The stewards have deemed this incident ‘unsafe’ and have imposed a fine of $10,670 (€10,000) on the Enstone-based team.

According to the FIA document of the stewards’ decision on the said incident on Reddit, this was a breach of Article 3.2 of the Sporting Regulations. The document stated that Alpine‘s pit stop of Gasly’s car did not ensure it “complied with the conditions of eligibility and safety during the race”.

During the race, Gasly was quick to ask on the radio if the mechanic was alright or not. The Frenchman’s race was already in the doldrums as he could not recover enough to get closer to the top 10. After the race, the 28-year-old explained what happened from his perspective at that first stop.

According to PlanetF1, Gasly stated, “Yeah, quite scary, actually. My green light, the light went green so I dropped the clutch, but then it went red straightaway. And then I saw him [the fallen mechanic] in the mirror, and saw the wheel wasn’t on. The mechanic is fine, which I was a bit scared of.”

It could have been quite injurious for any of the pit crew, had Gasly not stopped in time in the box. However, Alpine would want to tighten their pit stop operations, as it did not do them any favors during the race.

Pierre Gasly did not have the best time at the Chinese GP. His teammate, Esteban Ocon, had an upgrade package on his car that was initially slated for the Miami GP for both cars. Gasly now has to wait for this package until the race in Miami. Thus, he was expecting to be on the back foot in Shanghai.

Regardless, the #10 driver did a fantastic job of staying in the fight with Ocon and the rest of the lower midfield pack. However, his maverick effort got undone by the slow pitstop and some skirmishes with Alex Albon. At the chequered flag, Gasly finished in P13, which he claimed to be a decent result.

Since he was only seven seconds off Ocon and 10 seconds off P10, Gasly feels they made good progress in China. In the first four races of the year, Alpine have been at the back of the field and have not been able to fight or attack any cars. However, the Chinese GP has given the Enstone-based outfit some hope of recovery.

Both Gasly and Ocon went on the attack in Shanghai and were able to stay in contention to score points. Given this is a long season, with 19 more races to come, Alpine will hope to improve further and start scoring points more often in the upcoming races.
