She has now taken things a step further by launching legal action.

In a statement posted to social media, Wolff wrote: “I can confirm that I personally filed a criminal complaint in the French courts on the 4th of March in relation to the statements made about me by the FIA last December.

“There has still not been any transparency or accountability in relation to the conduct of the FIA and its personnel in this matter.

Anthony Davis has been sensational, averaging xxx. However, there is a mysterious second-half drop-off for Davis where he seems to be taken out of most prepared actions and is essentially a role-player on offense. Maybe a big second half from Davis can be the difference-maker.

It’s been a competitive series to watch, though the script has been the same. The Lakers take a lead in the first half, the Nuggets make a third-quarter comeback, and then put the Lakers away in the fourth. Coaching could have tweaked the margins enough for LA to pick up one win, but it seems the roster no longer has faith in their head coach.

“From speaking with people within the Lakers’ organization, they were upset and disappointed quite frankly by AD’s comments and publicly putting his coach out there like that especially since the Lakers had a good enough understanding of the gameplan to take a 20-point lead.”

The Lakers were defeated 4-2 by the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the 2021 playoffs. In the six games, Kyle Kuzma averaged just 6.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.2 assists with a field-goal percentage of 29.2%, including 17.4% from beyond the arc.

“We gotta do a better job of staying focused, staying positive through it all,” Ham said. “You have those disappointing moments, we call them disappointment lags, that disappointment can spill over for two, three, four possessions and see that someone makes a mistake, they drop their heads, jog back instead of sprinting back.

“You have to fight through all of that. They’re defending champions for a reason.”

The Lakers will fight to end the losing streak against the Nuggets and avoid elimination in Game 4 on Saturday.

Daniel Ricciardo was on track for a points finish before a cruel twist of bad luck hampered the Australian’s race at the Chinese Grand Prix.

Ricciardo was poised to finish in the top 10 before Aston Martin’s Lance Stroll went into the back of him before the first safety car restart, causing significant damage to his rear wing.

The incident was caused by Fernando Alonso locking up going into the turn, resulting in the following cars braking suddenly. Ricciardo hit Oscar Piastri‘s diffuser before Stroll sent the back of Ricciardo’s car into the air, such was the severity of the impact.

 

The Australian could not overcome the issue and complained of having ‘no rear on exit’, and the team were forced to call him into the pits and retire the car.

It was another poor result for the Australian amid a miserable return to Formula One.
