Taylor Swift continues to prove she is music’s biggest superstar as her new album The Tortured Poets Department prepares to shatter her own sales record

Taylor Swift‘s newly-released, double album, The Tortured Poets Department, has been breaking records ever since she announced it at the 2024 Grammy Awards.

From conquering several Spotify records to securing the fastest-selling album of 2024, so far, the 34-year-old pop star’s latest labor of love has her outperforming, even, herself.

Billboard is currently predicting that this will be the biggest first-week sales to date for the singer, who is set to pick back up on The Eras Tour on May 9, 2024, in Paris, France after a two-month break.

Within three days of its release on Friday, The Tortured Poets Department (TTPD) sold 1.5 million copies in the US,’ according to the outlet.

This means she topped her sales for 1989 (Taylor’s Version), which sold 1.359 million copies in the US following its release on October 27, 2023.

Taylor Swift’s newly-released, double album, The Tortured Poets Department, has been breaking records since she announced it at the 2024 Grammy Awards (seen in January 2024)

Additionally, she’s achieved the largest first-week sales of any album since Adele’s 25 sold 3.378 million copies in a week 2015.

Among her female peers, the 14-time Grammy winner has secured the most number one albums on Billboard 200 albums chart—with 13—her lucky number.

All of Swift’s full-length studio albums and re-recorded projects from 2008’s Fearless through The Tortured Poets Department have debuted at number one.

The Shake It Off hitmaker’s eponymous debut studio album, Taylor Swift, peaked at number five.

Keith Caulfield, managing director of charts & data operations at Billboard, predicted she will ‘catch up to The Beatles in a few years.’

The Beatles still hold the title for most number one Billboard 200 albums, with 19 earning the top spot on the charts.

If TTPD hits number one, she will tie Jay-Z as the performer with the second-most number one albums on the chart.

Some of her latest records’ achievements include becoming the No. 1 album of 2024 in less than 48 hours across both consumption and pure sales in the United States and earning the biggest Billboard 200 debut of her career.

From conquering several Spotify records to securing the fastest-selling album of 2024 , so far, the 34-year-old pop star’s latest labor of love has her outperforming, even, herself

This means she topped her sales for 1989 (Taylor’s Version), which sold 1.359 million copies in the US following its release on October 27, 2023

She also broke the all-time record for most single day streams in Spotify history, with 380 million streams.

Just nine hour after its release, TTPD surpassed Beyoncé’s country album as the biggest debut for a 2024 album on Spotify.

Around the same time, the Anti-Hero hitmaker’s newly-released album hit number one in over 60 countries on iTunes.

Among its many feats, TTPD has also become the first album in history to debut all its tracks in the top 25 on US Apple Music.

Its lead single, Fortnight, featuring rapper Post Malone, debuted at the top slot.

Additionally, she’s achieved the largest first-week sales of any album since Adele’s 25 sold 3.378 million copies in a week 2015

Fortnight is tracking to be her song with the most number ones after reaching the top spot in the United States, the United Kingdom and 33 other countries on Apple Music in nine hours.

Unsurprisingly, TTPD, which is officially the best-selling album in the US of 2024, is also reported to have made history as the biggest debut on Amazon Music.

It is projected to sell 2 million copies in the US first week.

So far, the most streamed tracks on Spotify are Fortnight, Florida!!!, Down Bad and So Long London.

TTPD has continued to break records by becoming the most-streamed album on Spotify in a single day with over a whopping, 200 million streams, reported Deadline on Friday.

Her previous LPs, Midnights (2023) and also 1989 (Taylor’s Version) also broke the same record at the time of release.

Reviews of Swift’s latest work have been overwhelmingly positive, and it received a perfect score 100 from Rolling Stone.

‘TTPD combines the intimacy of Folklore and Evermore with the synth-pop gloss of Midnights to create music that’s wildly ambitious and gloriously chaotic,’ music journalist, Rob Sheffield, declared.

He continued: ‘The Tortured Poets Department has a Reputation edge to it, and like Reputation, it sounds designed to confuse many people who try to decode it before listening.’

Among her female peers, the 14-time Grammy winner has secured the most number one albums on Billboard 200 albums chart—with 13—her lucky number

On Friday, she surpassed Spotify’s record for the most pre-saved countdown page album in the streaming services’ history.

According to VegasInsider.com, she may also break her own record for the most streamed album in a day and most streamed album in a week on Spotify.

Her last album, Midnights previously held the record for the most streamed album on Spotify in a day (184.695 million) as well as the most streamed album in a week (785.253 million).

Tom Poleman, the chief programming officer & president for iHeartRadio, told CNN that The Tortured Poets Department ‘is probably the most anticipated album’ he’s ‘ever’ seen in his career.

‘It’s not just a music event, it’s a pop culture event that I think that everybody in America will be talking about and celebrating together,’ he raved to CNN in a recent interview.

Poleman continued: ‘It’s like in movies, it’s like James Cameron who cares about quality, cares about credibility but also cares about commercial success.’

After releasing her new album at midnight ET (2am UK time), Taylor took to Instagram to announce her latest record was actually a surprise ‘double album,’ after sparking a flurry of speculation by posting a countdown clock on social media.

Captioning the post, the superstar told her followers that she’d written ‘so much tortured poetry in the past two years’ that she wanted to share it with her fans.

Sharing the double album was called The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology, she wrote: ‘It’s a 2am surprise: The Tortured Poets Department is a secret DOUBLE album. ✌️

‘I’d written so much tortured poetry in the past 2 years and wanted to share it all with you, so here’s the second installment of TTPD: The Anthology. 15 extra songs. And now the story isn’t mine anymore… it’s all yours.’

While the deluxe version is not yet available for Taylor’s website, there were four different versions of the original album available, each containing a different bonus track, are priced at £13.99 ($17.38).

The vinyl version, including bonus track The Manuscript, costs £33.99 ($42.23), while a ‘phantom clear vinyl’ is price the same.

Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department: Full tracklist and meanings in her double album

Tracks on The Tortured Poets Department 1. Fortnight (feat. Post Malone)

Taylor appears to reference the end of her relationship with Joe Alwyn and her subsequent fling with Matty Healy in the first track on her album.

The first verse appears to hint at the end of her romance with Joe as she sings: I was supposed to be sent away but they forgot to come and get me.

Taylor then wishes an ex well who betrayed her: All of this to say, I hope you’re okay, but you’re the reason / No one here’s to blame but what about your quiet treason.

In the second verse, Taylor talks about a short-lived fling that helped her ‘move on’, potentially a reference to Matt.

She sings: ‘All my mornings are Mondays stuck in an endless February / I took the miracle move on drug and the effects were temporary / And I love you, it’s ruining my life / I touched you for only a fortnight.’

    2. The Tortured Poets Department

The titular track is a shimmering melody which suggest that Taylor, modestly, doesn’t see herself at the top table of tortured poets: ‘You’re not Dylan Thomas, and I’m not Patti Smith.’

It also appears to heavily reference her fling with Matty as she sings: ‘You smokеd then ate seven bars of chocolate / We declared Charlie Puth should be a bigger artist.

‘I scratch your head, you fall asleep / Like a tattooed golden retriever / But you awaken with dread.’

She also makes a candid reference to her mental health, singing: ‘But you told Lucy you’d kill yourself if I ever leave /And I had said that to Jack about you so I felt seen’.

    3. My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys

Written solely by Taylor, this song’s dense electronic hum adds forceful notes.

Fans have suggested the title is a reference to the ‘shiny toy she sang about in her hit Cruel Summer from the album Lover.

It’s not clear if she is referring to heartbreak after splitting from Joe or the abrupt end to her romance with Matty.

‘Once I fix me, he’s gonna miss me,’ she vows, adding: ‘I know I’m just repeating mysеlf Put me back on my shelf / But first, pull the string And I’ll tell you that he runs Because he loves me (He loves me).’

    4. Down Bad

Taylor references mental health again as she details how ‘down’ she feels without an ex and the infatuation she felt with him.

‘Everything comes out teenage petulance,’ sings Taylor as she bitterly surveys the fallout from an old relationship.

She continues: ‘Everything comes out teenage petulance / F**k it if I can’t have him / I might just die, it would make no difference / Down bad, waking up in blood /Staring at the sky, come back and pick me up.

‘F**k it if I can’t have us / I might just not get up / I might stay down bad.’

    5. So Long, London

The first track to be written with The National’s Aaron Dessner brings a change of pace, with a lovely, choral intro. ‘So long, London, you’ll find someone,’ sings Taylor.

The song appears to be a reference to British ex Joe and a follow up to her hit London Boy from Lover.

She references their different approaches to the end of their romance, singing in the first verse: ‘I kept calm and carried the weight of the rift / Pulled him in tighter each time he was drifting away / My spine split from carrying us up the hill.’

Verse three she muses: ‘And you say I abandoned the ship, but I was going down with it / My white knuckle dying grip holding tight to your quiet resentment.’

Taylor Swift officially dropped The Tortured Poets Department on Friday – her hotly-anticipated 11th studio album

    6. But Daddy I Love Him

‘I know he’s crazy, but he’s the one I want,’ sings Taylor, showing wry humour as she admits to falling for the bad boys. Produced, with real brightness, by Dessner.

She goes on to revel in the fact she dismisses warning from critics, singing: ‘They slammed the door on my whole world / The one thing I wanted

‘Now I’m running with my dress unbuttoned, / Screaming, But daddy I love him / I’m having his baby / No I’m not, but you should see your faces.’

    7. Fresh Out The Slammer

Finger-picked acoustic guitar adds folky notes reminiscent of lockdown albums Folklore and Evermore to Fresh Out The Slammer, which details rushing into a new relationship.

Seemingly a reference to her fling with Matty – who she previously dated in 2015 – she sings: ‘Now pretty baby, I’m running back home to you. / Fresh out the slammer I know who my first call will be to.’

On the decay of her past relationship, she sings: ‘Splintered back in winter, silent dinners, bitter he was with her in dreams / Gray and blue and fights and tunnels, handcuffed to the spell I was under.

‘For just one hour of sunshine / Years of labor, locks and ceilings / In the shade of how he was feeling.’

    8. Florida!!! (feat. Florence + The Machine)

An album highlight, this theatrical duet with London singer Florence Welch is an uplifting song of escape – from small-town life and a bad romance.

Tellingly the first tour stop following her split from Joe was in Tampa, Florida and she begins her song by singing: ‘You can beat the heat if you beat the charges too.

‘They said I was a cheat, I guess it must be true / And my friends all smell like weed or little babies / And this city reeks of driving myself crazy.’

    9. Guilty As Sin?

A tale of unrequited love, and a superb slice of 1980s-style soft rock. It even mentions The Downtown Lights, a 1989 single by Scottish band The Blue Nile.

She begins the track with her feelings on being ‘trapped’ in a relationship, singing: ‘My boredom’s bone-deep, this cage was once just fine / Am I allowed to cry?

‘I dream of cracking locks, throwing my life to the wolves or the ocean rocks.’

She hints at an emotional affair providing her release, singing: ‘These fatal fantasies giving way to labored breath taking all of me we’ve already done it in my head.

‘If it’s make-believe why does it feel like a vow we’ll both uphold somehow?”’

    10. Who’s Afraid Of Little Old Me?

Big drums, a dramatic arrangement, and more dry humour in another song penned solely by Taylor. ‘You wouldn’t last an hour in the asylum where they raised me,’ she snarls.

It’s reminiscent of her hit single Look What You Made Me Do and the villain arc is prominent in her lyrics.

She sings: ‘I was tame, I was gentle till the circus life made me mean /Don’t you worry folks, we took out all her teeth

‘Who’s afraid of little old me? Well you should be.’

This is her first new album since the end of her six-year relationship with British actor Joe Alwyn and, while she doesn’t mention Alwyn by name, speculation will be rife that tracks such as So Long, London are about him. Pictured together in 2019

    11. I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can)

A moody, stripped-down number worthy of Lana Del Rey, who has also worked extensively with the song’s producer, Jack Antonoff.

She appears to be referring to chain smoking, booze loving Matty, as she sings: ‘The smoke cloud billows out his mouth like a freight train through a small town / The jokes that he told across the bar were revolting and far too loud.’

Fans had expressed their concerns when Taylor started dating The 1975 bad boy rocker and it seems her friends had the same reservations.

Taylor sings:  ‘They shake their heads, saying, “God help her” when I tell ‘em he’s my man / But your good Lord doesn’t need to lift a finger / I can fix him, no really I can / And only I can.’

    12. loml

‘You said I’m the love of your life,’ sings Taylor on this warm, resonant piano ballad. In a smart twist, the ‘loml’ ultimately becomes ‘the loss of my life’.

She describes being love-bombed by an old flame, seemingly referring to Matty given their past experience.

Others have suggested the intensity of the lyrics suggest it relates to her longterm relationship with Joe.

She sings: ‘I felt a glow like this, never before and never since /If you know it in one glimpse it’s legendary.

‘You and I go from one kiss to getting married / Still alive, killing time at the cemetery / Never quite buried.’

    13. I Can Do It With A Broken Heart

More 1980s influences on an electronic pop track that sees Taylor vowing to remain a trouper, despite any romantic strife.

She sings about putting on a brave face while her relationships publicly fall apart, noting: ‘They said, “Babe, you gotta fake it till you make it,” and I did.

‘Lights, camera, b***h, smile / Even when you wanna die / He said he’d love me all his life / But that life was too short / Breaking down, I hit the floor / All the pieces of me shattered as the crowd was chanting more.’

Taylor has previously admitted she struggled with her love live playing out so publicly and the narrative that she’d had more boyfriends than other women.

    14. The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived

‘You didn’t measure up in any measure of a man,’ sings a disdainful Taylor on a melodramatic ballad.

The title is noteworthy, given that Matty’s stature is an object of some debate. The singer previously disclosed: ‘Everyone in [the 1975] is 6’4” and I’m 5’10”, so everyone thinks that I’m 5’5”.’

More recently, he addressed these short man allegations by telling a fan that he was ‘sick to f***ing death of this’, insisting that he is ‘a big boy.’

She sings: ‘And I don’t miss what we had / But could someone give a message / To the smallest man who ever lived?’

    15. The Alchemy

Not all the songs are about heartbreak, as sporting metaphors aplenty suggest a track inspired by the singer’s current boyfriend, American football star Travis Kelce.

‘When I touch down, call the amateurs and cut them from the team,’ she sings.

Speaking about the upcoming release back in February, when he was building up to the Super Bowl in Las Vegas, Kelce said he had heard some of the songs on Taylor’s latest release.

‘I have heard some of it and yes, it’s unbelievable,’ he said to reporters. ‘I can’t wait for her to shake up the world when it finally drops.’

    16. Clara Bow

It’s tempting to think Taylor sees something of herself in a closing track inspired by Clara an American actress of the 1920s who lived her life in the Hollywood goldfish bowl.

She goes on to reference Stevie Nicks as she details struggling with the trappings  of fame.

Taylor sings: ‘I’m not trying to exaggеrate / But I think I might die if I made it, die if I made it / No one in my small town thought I’d meet these suits in LA / They all want to say.’

Bonus tracks on The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology17. The Black Dog

The Black Dog is also a reference to depression and lack of energy based on a demonic hellhound acting as an omen of death in English folklore and literature.

As well as the eerie lyrical meaning to the title, The Black Dog is a bar in Vauxhall, London – her ex Matt’s city of birth and just a stone’s throw away from Joe’s hometown of Royal Tunbridge Wells in Kent.

In the song, she belts out: ‘I am someone who until recent events you shared your secrets with and your location / you forgot to turn it off / And so I watch as you walk into some bar called The Black Dog…

‘I just don’t understand how you don’t miss me in The Black Dog when someone plays The Starting Line and you jump up, but she’s too young to know this song that was intertwined in the magic fabric of our dreaming.’

    18. Imgonnagetyouback

Taylor is torn between calling things off for good or rekindling with an ex in imgonnagetyouback.

Emotions are clearly running high as she sings: ‘Whether Im gonna be your wife / Or smash up your bike / I haven’t decided yet’.

She appears to reference her new romance with Travis as the song goes on, sharing: ‘I can feel it coming / In the way you move / Push the reset button /We’re becoming something new.

‘See you got somebody else / Say I got someone else too / Even if it’s him, I’m leaving here with you.’

    19. The Albatross

It seems London watering holes are a theme of the album, with The Black Dog and The Bolter joining The Albatross as apparent references to venues.

The Albatross Club is a pub in Farringdon, London but also has particularly eerie significance in its meaning as a word alone.

Albatross is defined in the Britannica Dictionary as: ‘A continuing problem that makes it difficult or impossible to do or achieve something. Fame has become an albatross that prevents her from leading a normal and happy life.’

Additionally, an albatross is a large white ocean bird that has very long and often black wings – which many likened to her outfit from the Grammys.

Taylor is taking no prisoners in this track, referring to herself as one of the largest seabirds on Earth – famed for their giant wingspan and ability to glide seamlessly.

She sings about taking revenge with the lyrics: ‘She is here to destroy you/ Devils that you know / Raise worse hell than a stranger’.

    20. Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus

Taylor tells the story of a rocky relationship in which their partner betrays them and focuses on drugs more than her.

She hints at infidelity on their part by singing: ‘Your hologram stumbled into my apartment / Hands in the hair of somebody in darkness.

‘Named Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus / And I just watched it happen / As the decade would play us for fools.’

Taylor goes on to reference, singing: ‘You said some things that I can’t unabsorb / You turned me into an idea of sorts / You needed me, but you needed drugs more / And I couldn’t watch it happen.’

Taylor reignited her explosive feud with Kim Kardashian by releasing a diss track aimed at the reality star (pictured with Kim in 2015)

Taylor also seems to reference Kim’s 10-year-old daughter North West dancing to Shake It Off on TikTok back in January, she writes:# your kid comes home singin’ a song that only us two is gonna know is about you’

    21. How Did It End?

Taylor appears to reference the speculation over her relationship with Joe as she details in the chorus:

‘Come one come all It’s happ’nin’ again / The empathetic hunger descends We’ll tell no-one / ‘Cept all of our friends / We must know How did it end?’

Accusing people of conducting their own ‘post-mortem’s’ in the opening sentence, Taylor also accuses people of being smug: ‘Soon they’ll go home to their husbands / ’cause they know they can trust him / Then feverishly calling their cousins.’

She later admits that while everyone is questioning, ‘How did it end?’ she doesn’t know herself: ‘But I still don’t know, how did it end?’

    22. So High School

While many tracks are bold aims at her exes Matt and Joe, happiness does reign in her track So High School where she discusses current boyfriend Travis.

She sings: ‘You know how to ball, I know Aristotle, brand new, full throttle // Touch me while your bros play Grand Theft Auto // It’s true, swear, scouts honor // You knew what you wanted, and, boy, you got her.’

Taylor the directly references a resurfaced video in which Travis was asked who marry, kiss or kill between Ariana Grande, Katy Perry and Taylor.

She sings: ‘Are you gonna marry, kiss or kill me? Kill me. It’s just a game, but really, really, I’m betting on all three for us two.

    23. I Hate It Here

Taylor relies in escapism to distract herself from the issues plaguing her real life, describing herself as going to ‘secret gardens in my mind’.

She appears to be dealing with the fallout of being lied to, singing: Tell me something awful like you are a poet / Trapped inside the body of a finance guy

‘Tell me all your secrets / All you’ll ever be is / My eternal consolation prize.’

She appears to be between relationships, musing: ‘I’m lonely, but I’m good /I’m bitter, but I swear I’m fine.’

    24. thanK you aIMee

Fans are convinced the 24th track – thanK you aIMee – is aimed at Kim Kardashian, as the letters K,I and M are capped up to spell out her name.

Taylor sings in one line: ‘There’s a bronze spray-tanned statue of you and a plaque underneath it/That threatens to push me down the stairs, at our school.’

‘All that time you were throwin’ punches, I was buildin’ somethin’ / And I can’t forgive the way you made me feel / Screamed ‘F**k you, Aimee’ to the night sky, as the blood was gushin’ / But I can’t forget the way you made me heal.’

She goes on to add: ‘And it wasn’t a fair fight, or a clean kill / Each time that Aimee stomped across my gravе / And then she wrote hеadlines/ In the local paper, laughing at each baby step I’d take.’

Taylor concludes by confirming she’s changed the name of the woman she’s singing about – further fuelling speculation the track is about Kim.

She also seems to reference Kim’s 10-year-old daughter North West dancing to her 2014 single Shake It Off on TikTok, finding it ironic as the ‘song is about you’.

She sings: ‘And so I changed your name, and any real defining clues/And one day, your kid comes home singin’ a song that only us two is gonna know is about you.’

    25. I Look in People’s Windows

While she may have the ultimate girl squad around her, Taylor admits she can’t help but feel lonely when chasing a man.

She sings: ‘I look in people’s windows / Transfixed by rose golden glows / They have their friends over to drink nice wine.

‘I look in people’s windows / In case you’re at their table / What if your eyes looked up and met mine / One more time.’

    26. The Prophecy

Taylor seems to be pained by the thought of trying to find an intimate love when her life is so public.

The singer – who found fame as a teenager – reveals that being in the spotlight and adored by millions of fans can’t measure up to being loved by a partner.

She shares: ‘Please / Change the prophecy / Let it once be me / Who do I have to speak to / About if they can redo the prophecy?’

Taylor has previously revealed how fame changed her life for the worst, explaining: ‘It’s a social situation every time I go out.

‘I just have to wake up in the morning and say, “How am I feeling today? If someone asks for a picture, am I gonna feel imposed upon today because I’m dealing with my own stuff? Am I gonna take my own stuff out on some innocent 14-year-old today and be in a bad mood?”

‘OK, maybe not … Maybe I won’t leave the house.’

    27. Cassandra

thanK you aIMee might not be the only song issuing shots at Kim Kardashians, with Cassandra also seeming to be filled with veiled digs.

Greek god Cassandra, ‘entangled men’ and was punished with a curse where no one would believe what she had to say.

In her chorus, Taylor sings: ‘When the first stone’s thrown, they’re screaming /In the streets, there’s a raging riot / When it’s “Burn the b***h”, they’re shrieking / When the truth comes out, it’s quiet.’

This could be in reference to Kim sparking a social media firestorm when she shared a Snapchat video of then-husband Kanye West during a phone call with Taylor, where she seemingly gave the rapper to include lyrics about her in his new song.

While Taylor insisted that she hadn’t consented to Kanye labelled her a ‘b***h’ in his track, many accused her of being a snake.

Kardashian fans and Swifties went to war with one another by posting snake emojis.

Taylor references snakes in her song, sharing: ‘So, they killed Cassandra first ‘cause she feared the worst / And tried to tell the town / So, they filled my cell with snakes, I regret to say / Do you believe me now?’

    28. Peter

Taylor reflects on her childhood and pleads for forgiveness as she reflects on losing a past love.

It could be in reference to Matty, who she was first linked to in 2014, and their subsequent breakup as she sings: ‘Said you were gonna grow up /Then you were gonna come find me.

‘Words from the mouths of babes / Promises oceans deep / But never to keep / Never to keep.’

It could also be a follow up to her song Cardigan, where she sang: ‘Tried to change the ending / Peter losing Wendy’.

    29. The Bolter

Fans have made many interpretations of The Bolter – with links to a London pub in the form of Mansion House’s bar of the same name while also alluding to a suitor running into the night – something fans insisted was about Joe.

Some Twitter users claimed the location is where the former couple enjoyed their first date – yet the claims were quickly disputed by devoted followers.

The initial claim came from a fan writing: ‘The Bolter is a bar in London where Taylor and Joe went on their first outing?!?!???? I’m done, BYE’.

Others followed up writing: ‘***Apparently that’s not the bar they were publicly first seen together!!!!*** But there is indeed this bar in London which is crazy anyway… guys it’s not real, it was different place’.

She sings: ‘Started with a kiss / “Oh, we must stop meeting like this” / But it always ends with a town car speeding / Out the drive one evenin’ / Ended with the slam of a door / But she’s got the best stories // You can be sure…

‘All her f**kin’ lives / Flashed before her eyes / And she realized / It feels like the time / She fell through the ice / Then came out alive’.

    30. Robin

Her penultimate track is also reflective of her youth as she reflects on how innocence is ripped away with age.

She sings: ‘You get the dragonflies above your bed /You have a favorite spot on the swing set / You have no room in your dreams for regret

‘You have no idea / The time will arrive for the cruel and the mean / You’ll learn to bounce back just like your trampoline.’

Despite this there’s an element of hope involved as she sings: ‘But now we’ll curtail your curiosity / In sweetness / Way to go, tiger / Way to go, tiger /Higher and higher / Higher and higher / Wilder and lighter.’

    31. The Manuscript

The only bonus track on the first physical versions of Taylor’s album seems to be a follow up to All Too Well – her song about Jake Gyllenhaal.

She reflects on a past romance as she sings: ‘Now and then she rereads the manuscript / Of the entire torrid affair /He said that if the 𝑠e𝑥 was half as good as the conversation was / Soon they’d be pushin’ strollers / But soon it was over.’

In a nod to All Too Well (10 Minute Version) and its music video directly, Taylor continues: ‘The Professor said to write what you know / Lookin’ backwards might be the only way to move forward / Then the actors / Were hitting their marks.’

The Bad Blood songstress, 34 – who recently teased a ‘timetable’ to her fans ahead of the LP’s release – initially announced the album while attending the 2024 Grammys in February

Jason Kelce’s Wife Kylie Slams Headline About Her and Taylor Swift

Kylie Kelce addressed headlines stating that the spotlight is “not her cup of tea” given her brother-in-law’s relationship with Taylor Swift. The mother of three and wife to Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce posted a TikTok on Nov. 22 in which she responded to a Page Six headline expressing how she feels about the new spotlight placed on her family at this time.

“I said it’s not my cup of tea to like, have attention on me. I didn’t say that,” she said, pointing toward the headline on Page Six that said she’s “trying to avoid the Taylor Swift spotlight.” “That seems like a stretch to me. You’re reaching, you are reaching. You’re reaching!”

Then, Kylie went on to instruct viewers to watch the original interview she did with Spectrum News in Kansas City on Nov. 19, in which she responded to a question about her family’s newfound fame. “It’s not particularly my cup of tea to be in the spotlight or in front of a camera, I was a communication major in college,” she said in the video. “I love to be behind it — that’s my bread and butter. But at the end of the day, if it creates opportunities like this where we can leverage my network and figure out how to impact a community that has been so, so kind to the entire Kelce family, I’m so happy to be able to give back to Kansas City in this way.”

Then, in her TikTok, Kylie Kelce referred to a headline in Us Weekly that was written about Annie Elliott, stating: “Fellow Eagles Wife Mocks’ National Treasure’ Kylie Kelce’s Packing Skills After Chiefs Game.”

“‘Mocks?’ You see this woman right here? Will protect at all costs. You keep her name out your mouth,” Kylie Kelce said. In her closing remarks, Kylie Kelce urged rumormongers to proceed with caution. “These tabloids… nonsense,” she said. “I’ll tell you what we truly believe at the bottom of our hearts in Philadelphia: F— around and find out.”

Kylie attended the Eagles’ 21-17 victory over the Chiefs on Nov. 20, as her husband and brother went head to head for the first time since the 2023 Super Bowl. When Spectrum News interviewed her, she explained why she would not be seated in Travis Kelce’s suite at Arrowhead Stadium.

“Travis has a lot of people who come to games — appropriately so, everyone loves to support him. But it means that it’s a tight squeeze in there,” she said. “Also, it’s fun to cheer and not feel like the entire room’s rooting against you.”

“I will be in the stands,” she added. “I’m a stands girl — I love sitting in the stands, cheering with the fans, even if it’s in an opposing team’s stadium.”

The Black Dog owner hinted that Joe Alwyn is a “regular” after Taylor Swift released a song about an ex frequenting the London pub.

Bottomley also spoke on the increase in foot traffic her pub has received ever since the “Lover” songstress listed “The Black Dog” as the 17th track on her newly released “The Tortured Poets Department” album.

Alwyn and the “Bad Blood” hitmaker’s romance kicked off in 2017 but came to a screeching halt in April 2023.

Aside from seemingly referring to the actor in “The Black Dog,” Swift also shaded her ex on the 31-track album in her song “So Long, London,” which is where she lived with him for six years.

She also presumably hinted at their relationship in “Loml” and “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.”

The “Love Story” singer also appeared to have taken a jab at her ex Matty Healy, 35, whom she briefly dated from May to June 2023.

She seemingly described the 1975 frontman as a man she could “fix” and someone who “needed drugs” more than he needed her as she sang “I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can)” and “Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus.”

Of course, several Swifties also believe the pop icon referenced her romance with Travis Kelce, 34, on the album as she also belted about touchdowns and winning streaks in “The Alchemy.”

Jason Kelce swiped right to find love with his now-wife, Kylie Kelce, but their first date was anything but smooth sailing.

“It was pretty evident the second time we hung out [that this was going somewhere],” Kylie, 31, said during Wednesday, September 6, episode of her husband’s “New Heights” podcast.

When Jason, 35, asked why it wasn’t the first time, Kylie recalled, “Well, he fell asleep 45 minutes after I got there on a bar table!”

She added: “Because he was too drunk and then [his teammate] Beau Allen accomplished the most [impressive] physical feat of his life when he fireman-carried Jason back to his apartment.”

According to Kylie, Allen, 31, “emphasized that someone who’s dead weight” is difficult to carry. “Jason fought him the whole way,” she said, stifling her laughter. “Physically fought him the entire way.”

Jason, who shares three daughters with Kylie, claimed he was trying to “challenge” Allen by attempting to get free.

“[I] definitely fell asleep,” Jason told his brother and podcast cohost, Travis Kelce. “Got a little too inebriated, but I was sober enough to know [she] was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen in my life. It was love at first sight. … I didn’t [believe in love at first sight] until I met [her] and it was like fireworks exploded at the door the moment she walked into Buffalo Billiards.”

Jason admitted that their second date “went much better” because he was sober and stayed awake.

Jason and Kylie initially matched on Tinder, but he kept his Philadelphia Eagles career off of the app. “His profile at the time was something to the effect of, ‘I want to have deep meaningful conversations and talk about getting married and having kids,’” she added on Wednesday, noting there were not any references to Jason’s team in his bio.

Kylie teased that Jason did “really lean into the lumberjack thing” thanks to his plaid outfit, full beard and “man bun.”

“See, the man bun was helpful in the early stages of our relationship because I could tell when he was blacked out because he would send me a selfie and his hair would be down,” she quipped. “As soon as I got a selfie with his hair down, I was like, ‘I’ll talk to you tomorrow when you re-enter the world.’”

Jason and Kylie got married in April 2018 before welcoming daughters Wyatt, 3, Elliotte, 2, and Bennett, 6 months.

Taylor Swift and her boyfriend Travis Kelce reportedly traveled to a quaint Northern California town with fellow A-list couple Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper.

The famous four were at Carmel-by-the-Sea, a charming town located in the Monterey Peninsula, according to Page Six.

It was also claimed via DeuxMoi’s Instagram account that the group had been seen dining at the French restaurant La Bicyclette.

The NFL player’s mother Donna Kelce spoke about their double date while attending QVC’s Age of Possibility summit in Las Vegas on Wednesday, where Cooper was also in attendance, People reports.

Donna, 71, said she received a photo from her son of the lovely town and that during the getaway, Travis, 34, learned Bradley, 49, would also be present at the QVC summit set to be attended by his mother.

When they finally met up with one another at the summit, Donna reportedly told Bradley, ‘Travis told me you were going to be here.’

She also said she would’ve loved if Travis had been able to attend the summit, but he was still working on Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?

Travis will be hosting the upcoming Prime Video game show, which is a spin-off of Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?

Taylor, 34, and Travis have been all over these last few months, with a recent trip to Indio, California for the Coachella music festival, several weeks after a getaway to the Bahamas.

As for Bradley and Gigi, they have been going strong since they were first seen together in October.

Meanwhile, Taylor’s name has been making even more headlines following the release of her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department.

Not surprisingly, it has proven to be a smash hit with fans.

On Wednesday, Spotify announced the album had achieved the honor of becoming their most-streamed album in a single week.

Since Swift dropped the record, the album has been streamed over a billion times on the platform.

‘On April 22, 2024, Taylor Swift’s THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT became Spotify’s most-streamed album in a single week. The album has surpassed 1 Billion streams since release,’ the streamer announced via X.

From conquering several Spotify records to securing the fastest-selling album of 2024, so far, the pop star’s latest labor of love has her outperforming, even, herself.

Taylor Swift’s newest album has another big fan — her boyfriend’s mom.

Donna Kelce told People that she’s a huge fan of “The Tortured Poets Department,” the double album that was released to high praise on Friday.

The mother of Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce said she didn’t wait long to listen to all of the music, getting into it during the morning of the release.

“I was just very impressed. She is a very talented woman, and I think it is probably her best work,” Kelce told People.

This came after Kelce, 71, “liked” the pop star’s post announcing her ‘TTPD’ in the early hours of Friday morning.

It’s been a whirlwind year for Swift and the Chiefs star, which started in earnest for them during the fall when rumors were eventually confirmed that the two were indeed a high-profile pair.

Both Ed and Donna Kelce, amid all of the coverage, were watching Chiefs games in a suite with Swift, more often than not, in tow.

When this happened for the first time, the three-time Super Bowl champion said on the “New Heights” podcast he hosts with his brother, Jason, that the moment was just a bit terrifying.

Here’s what to know about Taylor Swift’s new album ‘The Tortured Poets Department’:

The 14-time Grammy winner released her highly anticipated 11th studio album “The Tortured Poets Department” on Friday.
Swift sent her fans into a frenzy at 2 a.m. after revealing the record is a double album. Titled “The Anthology,” Swift’s late-night surprise includes 15 bonus tracks, bringing the total song count to a whopping 31.
Swift initially unveiled her 16-song album at midnight, including collaborations with Post Malone and Florence Welch on two tracks. There are also four bonus tracks, “The Manuscript,” “The Bolter,” “The Albatross,” and “The Black Dog” that are featured on various vinyl versions of the album. The four tracks, as well as 11 new songs, are included in “The Anthology.”
A poem about heartbreak that serves as a prologue for the album was written by Fleetwood Mac alum Stevie Nicks.
There are several celeb names peppered throughout the album’s lyrics, the mention of singer Charlie Puth’s name took some Swifties by surprise.
While some of Swift’s exes aren’t spared on “TTPD,” the singer, 34, does seemingly reference her current beau Travis Kelce on the new album’s track “The Alchemy” in a loving way.
As for her exes, 1975 frontman Matty Healy is reportedly referenced throughout the 31-song-strong record. In fact, Healy — who, before their summer split, was a rebound romance for the pop superstar following her breakup with British actor Joe Alwyn after six years — appears to be the subject of the vicious takedown “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived.” Other fans, however, may speculate the “sparkling summer” line is about Alwyn. There are also hints that “I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can)” — gotta love that title — might be about 35-year-old Healy.
As for Alwyn, Swift dropped hints at the pair’s ill-fated 6-year romance for a good — or for him, not so good — part of the album. Check out the 10 Alwyn-related references we’ve spotted.

The Kelces and Swift even shared a star-studded suite during Super Bowl 2024 in Las Vegas, and after the dramatic overtime win by Kansas City, Donna and Swift were seen briefly holding hands down on the field before they embraced Travis.

And much like his mother, Travis was completely impressed by Swift’s newest music, with a source telling People just how excited he was for the double album release.

Jason Kelce’s Wife Kylie Addresses Claims She’s Avoiding ‘Taylor Swift Spotlight’

The mother of three clapped back at a recent headline, telling her followers, ‘F**k around and find out!’

Kylie Kelce is setting the record straight on a recent comment about the massive amount of public “attention” her family has received in recent months.

During an interview with reporters earlier this month in Kansas City, the wife of Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce responded to a question about being in the spotlight — seemingly a reference to Jason’s brother, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and his high-profile relationship with Taylor Swift.

“Your family’s been getting a lot of attention over the last couple of months, how has that switch flipped for you? How is it feeling?” the reporter asked.

“It’s not particularly my cup of tea to be in the spotlight or in front of a camera,” Kylie — who was promoting her kids’ field hockey clinic, “Stick With KC” — replied. “I was a communication major in college, I love to be behind it. “Go watch that interview,” she urged her followers on TikTok. “I said it’s not my cup of tea to be, like, have attention on me.”

She continued, pointing at the headline, “I didn’t say that. That seems like a stretch to me. You are reachin’, you’re reachin’, you’re reachin’.”

She didn’t mince words with the conclusion of her video, declaring, “I’m gonna tell you what we truly believe at the bottom of our hearts in Philadelphia: F**k around and find out.”

While Kylie made clear her objection to the headline, she did not offer any thoughts on Travis and Taylor’s romance.

Jason, meanwhile, has spoken out about his support of Travis’ new love. In a heartfelt moment of brotherly love on the duo’s podcast, New Heights, Jason said that “it was a lot of fun” seeing Travis’ whirlwind weekend with Taylor in Argentina unfold on social media. At the time, Taylor notably changed the lyrics of her song “Karma” to reference her new beau and was seen hugging and kissing him as she ran offstage at the end of her set.

“It was a lot of fun seeing the look on your face,” Jason said. “So I’m glad that you enjoyed it, Travis.”

Travis’ mother, Donna Kelce, recently told WSJ. Magazine that Travis is “happier than I’ve seen him in a long time.”

She cheekily added, “God bless him, he shot for the stars!”

For her part, Kylie has recently leveraged her own popularity by auctioning off an autographed Philadelphia Eagles letterman jacket, earning $100,000 for the Eagles Autism Foundation. She and Jason, who married in 2018, are parents to three daughters — Wyatt, 4, Elliotte, 2, and Bennett, 9 months — and share two Irish Wolfhounds — Winnie and Baloo.
    Jason Kelce and Kylie Kelce
As for Jason’s recent inclusion as one of People‘s Sexiest Men Alive, Kylie gushed in her interview, “I’ve known this the whole time! This is not news to me.”

She sweetly added, “At the end of the day, he’s still tucking in toddlers at the end of the night and getting called in for kid duty.”

Family is everything for Travis, who recently said that their respective familial bonds is something that he and Taylor connected over.

“Everybody knows I’m a family guy,” he told WSJ. Magazine. “Her team is her family. Her family does a lot of stuff in terms of the tour, the marketing, being around, so I think she has a lot of those values as well, which is right up my alley.”

erage my network and figure out how to impact a community that has been so, so kind to the entire Kelce family, I’m so happy to be able to give back to Kansas City in this way.”

She also shared that she wouldn’t be sitting in her brother-in-law’s suite for the Chiefs vs. Eagles game that weekend.

“I’m a stands girl,” she explained. “I love sitting in the stands, cheering with the fans, even if it’s in an opposing team’s stadium. Travis has a lot of people that come to games, appropriately so, everyone loves to support him but it means that it’s a tight squeeze in there. Also, it’s fun to cheer and not feel like the entire room’s rooting against you.”

In the end, Jason earned his first NFL win against his brother’s team as the Eagles beat the Chiefs 21-17 on Nov. 20. It’s also worth noting that Taylor was not in attendance for the game, as she was in Brazil to perform a rescheduled Eras Tour show.

Matty Healy chuckles when gotten some information about ex Taylor Quick’s ‘diss track’ about him on ‘TTPD’ — has he tuned in?

But has he listened to “Fortnight”?

Matty Healy is breaking his silence on ex Taylor Swift’s new double album, “The Tortured Poets Department” — and revealing if he actually pressed play on the new tracks.

The 1975 frontman, 35, was approached by paparazzi in L.A. on Wednesday and asked how he would “rate” his “Taylor diss track” compared to others she has written about.

“My diss track? Oh!” he replied.

“I haven’t really listened to that much of it but I’m sure it’s good.”

Swifties were quick to theorize what songs Swift penned about Healy, whom she briefly dated last year. Rumors about a fling began 10 years ago, but the two reconciled after her six-year relationship with Joe Alwyn ended.

Some tunes supposedly about Healy are “Fortnight,” “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived,” “I Can Fix Him” (No Really I Can)” and the title track.

“Like, Who uses typewriters anyway?” Swift, 34, sings on “The Tortured Poets Department.” Healy gushed about his love or typewriters in a 2019 GQ interview.

“I really like typewriters as well. I don’t have one with me because that is impractical, but the thing with typewriters and writing with pen to paper, there’s an element of commitment that goes with the ceremony with it,” he said at the time. “It therefore forces you to concentrate a bit better.”

“Fortnight,” meanwhile, might be about Healy as the title is a British English term defined as “a period of two weeks,” which could refer to their short-lived romance. The song is Swift’s first single off the album with collaborator Post Malone.

Taylor Swift’s Kim Kardashian diss track is her ‘final word’ on the reality TV star amid their years-long feud: ‘Taylor is not looking back’

Taylor Swift‘s diss track is her ‘final word’ to Kim Kardashian.

The song, titled thanK you aIMee, is featured on Swift’s new album The Tortured Poets Department and is believed to be about her feud with the reality TV star, 43.

‘The song is her final word,’ a source told Us Weekly on Thursday, adding: ‘Taylor has moved on and is not looking back.’

Swift ‘has not heard’ from Kardashian about the song that’s renewed interest in the end of their friendship in 2016.

This comes as fans believe they have finally uncovered the ‘bronze spray-tanned statue’ line referenced in thanK you aIMee.

Taylor Swift ‘s diss track, thanK you aIMee, is her ‘final word’ to Kim Kardashian; seen in 2015

At the start of the guitar-driven ballad, Swift sings: ‘When I picture my hometown / There’s a bronze spray-tanned statue of you /And a plaque underneath it /That threatens to push me down the stairs, at our school.’

One of Swift’s most devoted fans, using the handle @downbadam, took to X to reveal that the statue mentioned could be the one of Athena Parthenos in the Nashville Parthenon, which has a giant snake on it.

It ties back to a 2016 tweet from Kardashian, now 43, aimed at Taylor at the height of their tension.

At the time, the reality television star had posted, ‘Wait it’s legit National Snake Day?!?!? They have holidays for everybody, I mean everything these days!’ with a string of snake emoji.

Following Kim’s tweet, Swift was hit with a slew of snake emoji on social media apps before repurposing it in 2017 when she released her album Reputation.

The latest discovery from the Swifties comes after a source told People on Tuesday that Kim had put the bad blood behind her and wants Taylor can learn to do the same.

‘She’s over it and thinks Taylor should move on,’ the person said, adding that Kim ‘doesn’t get why [Swift] keeps harping on it.’

‘It’s been literally years,’ the person emphasized.

‘The song is her final word,’ a source told Us Weekly on Thursday, adding: ‘Taylor has moved on and is not looking back’

At the start of the guitar-driven ballad, the 34-year-old songstress sings: ‘When I picture my hometown / There’s a bronze spray-tanned statue of you /And a plaque underneath it /That threatens to push me down the stairs, at our school’; Kim pictured in March

After Kim appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday, some Swift fans took to the internet to complain that the host hadn’t asked her about the diss track or the years-old friction.

‘Why not ask her about the Taylor Swift song that North will be singing!’ wrote one person on Instagram.

Another wrote: ‘Jimmy, I’m 100 percent sure you weren’t allowed to speak or ask questions about Taylor or TTPD but you could have least ‘slipped up’ a couple of times and called her aIMee.’

In addition to the suggestive title, fans believe the new song is aimed at Kim given its chorus: ‘All that time you were throwin’ punches, I was buildin’ somethin’ / And I can’t forgive the way you made me feel / Screamed ‘F*** you, Aimee’ to the night sky, as the blood was gushin’/ But I can’t forget the way you made me heal.’

In another part of the tune, Taylor sings about removing ‘defining clues’ about the person she’s singing about, and she added, ‘I changed your name,’ which drew more listeners to the title.

One of Swift’s most devoted fans, using the handle @downbadam, took to X to reveal that the statue mentioned could be the one of Athena Parthenos in the Nashville Parthenon, which has a giant snake on it

It ties back to a 2016 tweet from Kardashian, now 43, aimed at Taylor at the height of their tension

The feud between Taylor and Kim traces back to the 2016 release of Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo.

On the song Famous, Kim’s ex-husband raps: ‘I feel like me and Taylor might still have 𝑠e𝑥 / Why? I made that b**** famous.’

Jason Kelce’s big decision: return or retire? Philadelphia Eagles star has the broadcasting world waiting in line to hire him, but the allure of one more NFL season may prove too tempting

It wasn’t until March 13 of last year, following the Eagles’ Super Bowl loss to the Chiefs, that Jason Kelce announced he’d be returning for another season.

That date is still a couple of weeks away, but it’s felt like an eternity since Kelce’s Eagles were eliminated from this postseason – setting up another massive decision for the 36-year-old.

Since that loss to the Bucs on January 15, there’s been no definitive word from Kelce on his playing status, though ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported shortly after the game that the center informed his teammates he’d been retiring.

At least so far, that has yet to come to fruition. Some may have thought that Kelce would wait until after the Super Bowl to declare his decision, so as to not steal his brother Travis’ thunder, but we’re now nearly a month removed from the Chiefs beating the 49ers – with no more clarity on Jason’s future.

During a recent interview with Dana Carvey and David Spade on their ‘Superfly’ podcast, Kelce at least kept the door open for a return to the Eagles.

‘I don’t know. I’m trying to figure it out right now,’ he said. ‘Right now, exploring different opportunities if I end up retiring,’ Kelce said.

‘Still working out and staying in shape if I end up playing again.’

Unlike many, less famous players mulling retirement, Kelce has another career waiting for him the second he hangs his cleats up.

The center, who hosts the ultra-successful ‘New Heights’ podcast with his brother Travis and filled in on Amazon’s Thursday Night Football broadcast during his bye week this season, looks destined for a career in broadcasting if he wants it.

He’s already met with executives from Fox and ESPN, according to Front Office Sports, as he used Super Bowl week in Las Vegas to ‘make the rounds’ with networks.

The Sun also reported that there was already a ‘scramble’ among several broadcasters to win Kelce’s services – and that he could make up to $5million per year for his football analysis.

The Ohio native is affable, funny and – despite his superhuman athletic talents – comes off as relatable, with his modest fashion choices and his beer-chugging exploits during his brother’s games.

For those reasons, he would likely thrive as a broadcaster.

Perhaps movies could be on the horizon as well.

He already starred in the eponymous ‘Kelce’ documentary on Amazon Prime, which detailed his decision on whether or not to keep playing following the 2022 season, while brother Travis is reportedly set to serve as an executive producer for a pair of Hollywood films.

But he may not be ready to step away from the field just yet.

‘No matter how you handle it, no matter who you are, how well prepared you are to enter the next stage, everybody goes through a level of depression, really,’ he said of retirement, on Chris Long’s ‘Green Light’ podcast.

‘The end of one of the things you love most in your life is there and you are going to have to come to grips with that.’

If Kelce decides this is not yet the end for his football career, the Eagles will be much better for it.

The center, who earned a sixth All-Pro selection after the 2023 season, is still at the top of his game.

In fact, his levels have only risen as he’s gotten older, as all of his All-Pro selections have come after age 30.

Still, Kelce will come at a high cost to the Eagles if he returns to Philly for a 14th season.

His one-year, $14.25million deal in 2023 was the highest in the league among centers, though he technically made just $1.165million in base salary, with most of his contract converted into a signing bonus spread across multiple voidable years.

While Philly fans are likely eagerly awaiting a decision from Kelce, he has time: his contract is designed to allow the Eagles to keep him on the roster until June, and put him on the retired list then if chooses not to return. The dead money of any player ($27.8 million for Kelce) released or traded after June 1 is spread over two seasons.

So, while Kelce would likely be expensive for the Eagles to retain, expect Philly to once again kick the can down the road somewhat if the talented center returns, giving him a lucrative deal that the team will mostly pay for in future years.

The Eagles are currently about $22million under the cap per Spotrac, though that includes a ‘fake’ placeholder contract for Kelce with a $10million cap hit – which could change if he inks a fresh deal.

Kelce will be welcomed back to the Eagles’ offensive line if he wants to keep playing, though Philly will likely want – and expect – a firm decision before the NFL Draft on April 25.

On one hand, drafting a replacement of Kelce’s caliber is a long-shot. On the other, he was selected in just the sixth round.

Eagles GM Howie Roseman will want to know what direction he needs to head in as Philly tries to bounce back from a disappointing end to 2023.

Throughout the offseason, Kelce has framed his decision on whether or not to keep playing as a struggle.

When a fan told him not to retire while he was signing autographs at a Pro Bowl practice, he said, I’m gunna try not to.’

And when he was on the field at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore after his brother Travis and the Chiefs beat the Ravens in the AFC Championship, Kelce exclusively told DailyMail.com , ‘Whenever you’re around this atmosphere, man, it’s really hard to not want to continue doing this.’

Kelce, it seems, is stuck between his love of the game and his desire for a different life – one that would feature more time with his wife, Kylie, and their three daughters.

There’s nothing else for him to prove. Six All-Pro selections, one Super Bowl win, countless highlight plays on the O-line – if he retired tomorrow, he’d be an easy Hall of Fame pick.

Of course, a decision of this magnitude goes far beyond resume-boosting, and Kelce’s football bug may just bring him back for one more year.
