Jason Kelce teammate dishes on Eagles star’s disastrous 1st date with now wife: ‘Little bit sideways’

Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce famously told the disastrous first date he had with his now wife, Kylie, in September on one of the episodes of his podcast.

Kelce, who met Kylie on Tinder, admitted to drinking too much and getting a “little too inebriated” – so much so that his then-teammate Beau Allen had to carry him back to his apartment.

Allen appeared on Wednesday’s episode of “New Heights” and dished a bit more on the date. He recalled Kelce being nervous about talking to Kylie. He said they were at a fairly formal holiday party in Philadelphia, after were drinking before going to it, when Kelce decided to go meet up with Kylie.

“Then the night just went a little bit sideways and Kelc fell asleep on the bar, like snoozing. This is the thing about Kelc. it’s not uncommon,” Allen said on the podcast. “… I have a disturbing amount of photos of you sleeping just asleep in various places… It’s cobblestone streets and you’re fighting me Kelce. At one point, I dropped you.”

Allen added that it was one of the “hardest” things he’s ever had to do.

He then admitted he was “slightly surprised” Kylie agreed to go on a second date with him.

“But you’re a great guy,” he added. “You’re charming, look at that laugh. How can you not want to go on a second date with you?”

    The rest is history.

  • Taylor Swift fans take deep dive into The Albatross lyrics and compare it to backlash star received for attending Travis Kelce’s NFL games

Taylor Swift fans take deep dive into The Albatross lyrics and compare it to backlash star received for attending Travis Kelce’s NFL games

Taylor Swift can turn just about any situation into a song, including one in which she’s made out to be the villain.

The artist, 34, who fans believe sang about her relationship with boyfriend Travis Kelce, 34, on her tracks So High School and The Alchemy, think she may be referencing the NFL star in The Albatross as well.

The lyrics ‘Cautions issued, he stood / Shooting the messengers / They tried to warn him about her,’ seem to refer to some of the vitriol aimed at the Grammy winner when she began attending Kansas City Chiefs games to support her guy.

Many NFL diehard fans were irritated at all the cutaway camera shots of the hitmaker in her skybox and expressed their irritation online, often in memes mocking her.

‘Cross your thoughtless heart / Only liquor anoints you / She’s the albatross / She is here to destroy you,’  goes the chorus.

Some Taylor Swift fans believe The Albatross may be about the backlash she received by some NFL fans upset about the media attention the singer received when she began attending  games to support boyfriend Travis Kelce     (Pictured in Baltimore, MD in January)

‘Why is no one talking about The Albatross is also a Travis song? one TikTok user asked.

‘Everybody was telling Travis, ‘Be careful, don’t get with her. She’ll ruin your career,’ the fan continued.

‘Don’t get with her, she’ll ruin your career. Are you paying attention to football? Is she weighing you down? Is he no longer good because he’s dating Taylor Swift?’ she queried.

‘That was the entire middle part of their relationship,’ the poster claimed.

‘The first verse talks about someone warning a suitor about dating her. Love is fragile, don’t let the winds that come with her fame snuff it out,’ another fan posited on X, former known as Twitter.

‘The second verse,’ the poster continued, ‘is about how she is shut away for the good of her potential partners. She’s the bad seed and the temptress, so shutting her away reduces the danger (less dagger to sharpen). But she escapes confinement anyway to visit her partner (who dgaf about the danger).’

Yet another lyric investigator claimed the track is about ‘men are scared of falling for her because she is a “man-eater” and “serial-dater” but then they DO fall for her.’

‘Given everyone warned Trav he was distracted all because of her, the football dudes made her feel she was the albatross around his neck,” author continued, adding that Kelce ‘never made her feel that way and cast off all the doomsayers. In fact, he played better when she was there.’

‘Why is no one talking about The Albatross is also a Travis song? one TikTok user asked. ‘Everybody was telling Travis, ‘Be careful, don’t get with her. She’ll ruin your career,’ the poster claimed   (Pictured in January)

Many NFL diehard fans were irritated at all the cutaway camera shots of the hitmaker in her skybox and expressed their irritation online, often in memes mocking her. However the league reported regular season viewership was up 7-percent from the year before  (Pictured in Las Vegas in February)

The NFL reported regular season viewership was up 7-percent from the year before.

The song seems to be a literary reference to Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s poem The Rime of the Ancient Mariner. The albatross was considered good luck until a sailor killed it and was forced to wear the dead bird around his neck as punishment.

Toward the end of the song, Swift changes the chorus to the first person, singing ‘So I crossed my thoughtless heart/Spread my wings like a parachute/ I’m the albatross/I swept in at the rescue.’

Deep dives into the lyrics such as this have helped catapult The Tortured Poets Department to instant success. It sold around 1.4 million copies on Friday and enjoyed more than 300 million streams in Spotify.

  • How Taylor Swift fever has forced a south London pub to hire extra security, order more glasses and open up bookings months in advance as fans flock to the ‘quaint’ venue in their droves – but staff say they don’t remember the popstar visiting

How Taylor Swift fever has forced a south London pub to hire extra security, order more glasses and open up bookings months in advance as fans flock to the ‘quaint’ venue in their droves – but staff say they don’t remember the popstar visiting

Staff at the ‘quaint’ south London pub, which has become an overnight hit after it was referenced in Taylor Swift‘s new album, have been forced to hire extra security staff as fan flock.

Swifties have descended on The Black Dog pub in Vauxhall after it was referenced in a Tortured Poets Department track of the same name.

But the taproom is struggling to keep up with demand and has had to buy in more branded glasses and open booking months in advance to deal with customers making a pilgrimage to the beerhouse according to The Times.

The influx of new customers has meant that the bar also regularly reaches capacity and even has to turn customers away.

But despite all the attention, staff are resorting to scouring CCTV to catch a glimpse of the Bad Blood singer after no one can remember her ever buying a drink at the bar.

Fans have come from all over the world to have a pint at the pub in Vauxhall

Taylor Swift decorations can be seen behind the bar in the pub including an image of Swift looking like a religious icon

A look at all of the different mentions of areas in London in Swift’s new album the Tortured Poets Department

Fans have taken to TikTok to film themselves visiting the pub in honour of the songstress

Swifties’ initially speculated that The Black Dog – Track 17 on the album – was a metaphor for depression. But now that the lyrics are out, it actually seems to be a reference to a very specific spot in London – a freehouse in Vauxhall.

Even though they can’t remember seeing the All Too Well singer, the pub is making the most of its time in the spotlight.

The pub have been leaning into all the media attention, adding ‘home to tortured poets’ in its Instagram bio and making Instagram reels linked to the song and including quotes on signs outside.

The pub has been overrun with booking requests for a table during Swift’s Eras tour performances in London and are even considering introducing a bottomless brunch.

Fans have flocked to the pub to film themselves sipping on pints of beer and ordering from the Taylor- Swift-themed menu.

In the videos, which have gathered thousands of views, Taylor Swift lyrics and pictures of her can be seen decorating the interior of the listed building while customers gather on picnic benches outside.

‘Swifties’ initially speculated that The Black Dog – Track 17 on the album – was a metaphor for depression

This is her first new album since the end of her six-year relationship with British actor Joe Alwyn and, while she doesn’t mention Alwyn by name, speculation will be rife that tracks such as So Long, London are about him. Pictured together in 2019

Taylor Swift and Matty Healy seen leaving The Electric Lady studio in Manhattan on May 16, 2023

Twins Kylee and Jordan Ludwig and their friend Katelyn Anziano, all 20, visited the pub.

Kylee said: ‘As soon as we heard the lyrics and realised it was a real place, we knew we just had to come here. I mean, we can now say we were in The Black Dog on the day of its release.’

Katelyn added: ‘It’ll become part of Taylor Swift lore. Especially because it’s such a sad, emotional song.’

Jordan was particularly excited to visit The Black Dog and said she had already fallen in love with the new album.

‘I love Taylor’s more depressing songs, and for me Tortured Poets was the perfect mix of the production value of Midnights with the tone of folklore and evermore,’ she said.

    ‘I love it.’

The trio are all from the United States but have been studying abroad at London’s Arcadia University since January. They describe themselves as mega Swifties – and have all already been to The Eras Tour.

Swift fans have already started visiting pubs apparently named in her new album

Since the album was released fans were able to pinpoint the exact location of the song reference – a freehouse in Vauxhall

The Bad Blood songstress, 34 – who recently teased a ‘timetable’ to her fans ahead of the LP’s release – initially announced the album while attending the 2024 Grammys in February

Connor Price, assistant manager at The Black Dog, said the three students weren’t the only fans who have visited the pub.

He said: ‘We’ve already had quite a few groups. Some came in and asked for a vodka and Diet Coke, as that’s apparently Taylor’s favourite drink.

‘And last night we had a group in Taylor Swift t-shirts, which was before the whole song was even out.’

Mr Price, 36, said he’s hoping the mention might be good for business. He said: ‘At the moment, it’s all a bit of fun – people have been giving us Google reviews based on the song, which are mostly 5* so that’s good.

‘But we’re thinking we might get some more customers here around the time when Taylor’s tour comes to London, so that would be good.’

Aware of its Taylor Swift-related appeal, The Black Dog is even offering a special deal to fans.

Amy Cowley, 41, the pub’s marketing consultant, said: ‘We are running a deal for anyone who comes in and quotes a lyric from Taylor’s song. The first 100 through the door will get a free ‘Swift Half’ of Black Dog lager.

‘And, after that, the ”Swift Half” will be free with a purchase of food for a week.’

The Bolter Pub reference isn’t as explicit as the one relating to The Black Dog, but it’s still a track title – and fans have noticed

The Black Dog has capitalised on its newfound fame and included Taylor Swift-themed menu items including a Swift-inspired burger

Fans have taken to TikTok to discuss The Black Dog pub and some have even scrawled through its google reviews

Some fans have said the song hits close to home and others feel they have a personal connection with the story telling

The Black Dog isn’t the only Swift-related spot The friends have visited while in London.

Kylee said: ‘We’ve actually been living in Highgate, which is obviously mentioned in the song ”London Boy” and is around where Joe Alwyn is from. So we’ve really been immersed in the Taylor Swift culture.’

Another London pub which Swift may have referenced in her new album is The Bolter in The City.

The reference isn’t as explicit as the one relating to The Black Dog, but it’s still a track title – and fans have noticed.

Dan Block, the pub’s site manager, said: ‘We’ve had people in here asking if Taylor Swift has been in here. People have asked which table she sat at – who she was with.

‘Personally, I’m pretty sure she’s never been here, but we do have a karaoke bar downstairs so we’re ready if she does want to stop by.’

The sign at the pub’s entrance reads: ‘Have a Swift one.’

Another London pub – The Spaniards Inn in Hampstead – is also a confirmed Swift spot, with she and Alwyn spotted leaving the pub after what was believed to be their first public date.

One staff member, who did not want to be named, said: ‘I wasn’t working here at the time but I know that definitely happened.

‘There were photos of her inside near the bar. So we do sometimes get fans coming in asking if it’s true, asking if we saw her.

Dedicated Swiftie Philippa visited the pub and filmed her experience including the sign outside which read ‘Have a swift one’.

Staff at the pub said: ‘We get quite a few celebs here actually, especially in the summer. I’ve served a few in my time.’

Swift and Alwyn are said to have been looking for a house together in North London, so it’s no surprise the area has featured heavily in her lyrics.

The couple were said to be looking for a ‘house with a garden’ – with the location widely speculated to be Hampstead Heath.

Swift seems to confirm this in So Long, London, where she sings ‘you left me at the house by the Heath’.

Dedicated Swiftie Philippa filmed her visit to The Bolter pub including the sign outside which read ‘Have a swift one’.

Her pre-breakup song London Boy also namechecks the area, with Swift singing how Alwyn ‘took me back to Highgate, met all of his best mates’ before comparing herself to ‘a Tennessee Stella McCartney on the Heath’.

Another North London landmark mentioned in the song is Camden Market, with the American singing how she enjoys walking there ‘in the afternoon’.

Further south, Shoreditch and Soho are named as places where she likes to walk.

Swift’s mention of ‘high tea’ and ‘stories from uni’ may not be anchored in any particular geography, but she does describe visits to the West End – no doubt a common haunt for her actor ex.

And South Londoners will be pleased to hear she ventures into the SW postcode, singing how she ‘enjoys nights in Brixton’.

In the song, which was intended as a bonus track to the Style singer’s album Tortured Poet’s Department and was later released as part of the anthology version, the singer says: ‘You forgot to turn it [your location] off,’ followed by, ‘And so I watch as you walk into some bar called The Black Dog.’

Fans have speculated that the song is about high profile exes Joe Alwyn who she dated for six years and Matty Healy who she had a short-lived fling with in May and June of 2023.

  • Jason Kelce’s wife Kylie breaks silence as he provides NFL retirement update

Jason Kelce’s wife Kylie breaks silence as he provides NFL retirement update

Jason Kelce Praises Taylor Swift as a 'Genuine, Down-to-Earth Person'

Jason Kelce’s wife, Kylie, has openly expressed her support for her husband as he considers potential retirement from the NFL. The Philadelphia Eagles star is thinking about ending his career and was visibly upset after their playoff exit.

Kylie told Good Morning America: “I think that whatever he does he’s going to be successful in,” adding, “And I’m not just saying that because I’m his wife. I think that’s his personality.”

Since the season ended, Jason has been supporting his brother Travis and the Chiefs at their last two playoffs games. As he watched them reach the Super Bowl, he shared some new thoughts on his future plans.

He told the Philadelphia Enquirer: “I still want to be involved in the organisation and still want to be a part of it, regardless of what the decision is.”

Kelce, 36, played a key role in Philadelphia’s victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII. He also helped the Eagles reach Super Bowl LVII, where they lost to his younger brother Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs, 38-35.

Feeling like there was more to achieve, he signed a one-year deal with Philadelphia after contemplating retirement. Despite hopes for a Super Bowl run, Philadelphia was knocked out in the NFC Wild Card game by Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Despite a disappointing end to his season, Jason has kept any talk of retirement close to his chest. On an episode of the “New Heights” podcast, he addressed the retirement rumours which surfaced after the Eagles’ season ended.

An emotional Jason explained to Travis: “I didn’t announce what I was doing on purpose despite what’s been leaked to the media, but people can feel body language and stuff. I just don’t think you’re in a position after a game like that to really make that decision. There is too much emotion in the moment and too much to grasp to really make that decision.

“I am not trying to be dramatic and continue to draw this thing out. It’s just something that when it’s time to officially announce what’s happening in the future, it will be done in a way that’s definite and pays respect to a lot of people and individuals that have meant a lot to me and led to the career that I have had.”

Travis stated that despite reports, Jason did not officially retire and believes his older brother still has the ability to compete at the highest level.

Jason is still coming to terms with the Eagles’ season ending in disappointment, while also cheering on Travis as he chases his third championship. The 36-year-old is keeping his future plans under wraps. However, Kylie is confident that whatever Jason decides to do next, he’ll be a success, just like his football career.

  • Jason Kelce, Other Eagles Land in Sea Isle

By DONALD WITTKOWSKI and MADDY VITALE

The last time Philly fans saw this many Eagles in one place, it was in the Super Bowl last February against the Kansas City Chiefs.

But there they were: Fletcher Cox, Brandon Graham, Dallas Goedert, Landon Dickerson and Jake Elliot, as well as former Eagles Connor Barwin, Trent Cole and Todd Herremans.

Topping all of that star power was All-Pro and Pro-Bowl Eagles center Jason Kelce and his All-Pro and Pro-Bowl tight end brother, Travis Kelce, of the Chiefs.

Jason Kelce was swarmed by hundreds of adoring fans for autographs and selfies during his annual celebrity bartending appearance Wednesday in Sea Isle City to raise money for the Eagles Autism Foundation.

The crowd was packed in shoulder-to-shoulder at a family-friendly area set up at the Paddy’s Green outdoor dining area at O’Donnell’s Pour House and next door at the Sandbar and Grill at the Ocean Drive bar. There were lines of fans stretching down the sidewalks of Landis Avenue waiting to get in both places.
Jason Kelce poses with the Eagles cheerleaders.

Kelce was elated that so many fans turned out to help him raise money for his “Team 62” charity, which is part of the Eagles Autism Challenge, an annual fundraiser for the Eagles Autism Foundation now in its third year in Sea Isle.

“It’s been incredible. The last three years have been a whirlwind,” Kelce said in an interview. “This community supports any type of charitable benefit like no other. Considering my first time ever stepping foot in Sea Isle, I found it’s a very community-driven island and it’s a very family-driven island.”

“And to come here and lend any type of helping hand I can to great causes like the Eagles Autism Foundation, I’m just blessed to be here with all these great people. It’s very humbling,” he added.

This was the third year that Kelce partnered with the Ocean Drive bar and its sister property, O’Donnell’s Pour House, for the fundraising event. It was not immediately announced how much money was raised Wednesday, but last year the event pulled in more than $100,000.

“We’re having a great day. We’re raising a lot of money for autism,” said Ralph Pasceri, who co-owns the Ocean Drive and O’Donnell’s with his brother, Pat, and their business partner, Michael Roberts.
Crowds pack the outdoor bar and dining area at O’Donnell’s Pour House.
This year, Kelce added a twist to the fundraiser by also having a beer pong contest that offered a $50,000 prize to the winning team. Teams were selected for the contest after submitting videos showing off their creative names and themes.

It was known ahead of time that Kelce was bringing his brother, Travis, with him to Sea Isle. But the appearance of so many other current and former Eagles was a huge surprise for the fans.

“We have a very strong mission with the Eagles Autism Foundation. A lot of the guys have no problem lending their free time, especially for a fun event like this. We just drink beers and have fun,” Kelce said of the players taking part in the fundraiser.

Kelce named Fletcher Cox, Brandon Graham, Landon Dickerson, Dallas Goedert, Jake Elliot, Connor Barwin, Trent Cole and Todd Herremans as the current and former players who showed up, but was worried that he might have overlooked some players.

“There’s a lot of guys here,” he said.

Also on hand was former Eagles linebacker Ike Reese, who is a host with Philly sports radio WIP. Reese was part of a live WIP broadcast at O’Donnell’s during the fundraiser.

All of the players were greeted by enthusiastic crowds that let out impromptu chants of “E-A-G-L-E-S … Eagles!”
Former Eagle Connor Barwin autographs a football for a fan.
Cox and Barwin were cheered when they took their turn tending bar. In between serving drinks, they posed for selfies with Eagles fans and autographed footballs and Eagles jerseys.

“This is exactly what I expected. I know Kelce so well, and I know how he connects with the community. This is something near and dear to Kelce,” Barwin said of the overflow crowd turning out for the event.

Barwin is currently working in the Eagles front office as director of player development. His 10-year NFL playing career included four seasons with the Eagles from 2013 to 2016.

Last Saturday, Barwin held a charity pickleball fundraising event in Sea Isle to benefit his Make The World Better foundation. He praised the Sea Isle community for its strong support of his and Kelce’s fundraisers.

“I love it that there are a lot of people here. It’s so cool to connect with so many fans on such a personal level,” he said.
Jason Kelce poses for a selfie.
Kelce’s ties to Sea Isle go beyond his fundraising event. He and his wife, Kylie, also own a summer vacation home in Sea Isle and are often seen at local restaurants and shops or walking their dogs.

Sisters Kasey and Devin Stelweck, of Sea Isle, talked about Kelce’s hometown connections while they were sharing drinks with friends at O’Donnell’s Pour House during the fundraiser.

Kasey Stelweck said she sees Kelce from time to time at the Sea Isle Acme or the Bubba Dogs hotdog stand at 59th Street and the beach. She even buys Bubba Dogs’ special “Jason Kelce hotdog” topped with potato sticks.

“You see him at Acme in flip-flops,” Kasey said. “I love seeing him. He’s a normal guy. He’s down to earth.”

Devin, meanwhile, was excited by sharing a few words with Kelce during the fundraiser when he first showed up at O’Donnell’s.

“He told me, ‘It’s so good to see you,’” Devin said. “It was as if I know him. But I don’t know him. He’s such a sweetheart.”
Sisters Kasey and Devin Stelweck of Sea Isle City, at left, share drinks with friends, Nicole and Steve Johnson, of Ocean City.
Kasey and Devin were joined at the event by their friends, Steve and Nicole Johnson of Ocean City.

Steve Johnson said he wasn’t surprised by the huge crowd that greeted Kelce in Sea Isle.

    “It’s his popularity,” Johnson said.

Johnson and his wife arrived at 9 a.m. for the start of a series of events connected to the fundraiser. They planned to stay until everything wrapped up Wednesday night.

“We’re here as long as we can be – until we get a babysitter’s call,” Johnson said with a laugh about the couple’s two children, Carter and Makena, being watched by a babysitter at their home.
Mike and Maureen Shrader, of Sea Isle City, enjoy the fundraiser.
Sea Isle City residents Maureen and Mike Shrader, another couple at the fundraiser, are diehard Eagles fans.

“Philly has a very hardcore Eagles base in Delaware County and Sea Isle,” Maureen said.

Kelce is definitely one of their favorite Eagles, they noted. And it isn’t just because he is a star player.

“It is great how involved Jason is in the autism fundraiser every year,” Maureen said.
Jason Kelce’s Fundraiser “Team 62” for autism is displayed on the Ocean Drive sign.
Former Eagle turned popular WIP radio host Ike Reese broadcasts at the event.
Eagle Fletcher Cox is joined by hundreds of fans who take his photo.
The line to O’Donnell’s wraps around the block.

The Taylor Swift effect! Kim Kardashian loses more than 100K followers after The Tortured Poets Department diss tracks reignited their years-long feud

Kim Kardashian has lost more than 100,000 Instagram followers after Taylor Swift dropped two ‘diss tracks’ about her last week.

The two songs – thanK you aIMee and Cassandra – were part of the surprise ‘double album’ version of Taylor’s new record The Troubled Poets Department, marking the latest broadside in the pop star’s explosive long-running feud with Kim and her ex-husband Kanye West.

One of the tracks, which is directed at a vicious bully, is called ‘thanK you aIMee’ – with the letters K, I and M tellingly capitalized.

After Kim’s Instagram comment section was trolled, her 363million following took a substantial hit – dropping by 120,000.

‘When I picture my hometown, there’s a bronze spray-tanned statue of you,’ Taylor sings at the beginning of the acid-tongued song: ‘and a plaque underneath it that threatens to push me down the stairs at our school.’

‘Swifties’ then flooded onto Kim’s Instagram page to fill her comments with the phrase: ‘Thank you Aimee,’ signaling their loyalty to Taylor, 34.

Kim Kardashian has lost more than 100,000 Instagram followers after Taylor Swift dropped two ‘diss tracks’ about her last week

Kim had posted a birthday tribute to her older sister Kourtney Kardashian on Thursday, but by Friday morning its comments were deluged with: ‘Thank you Aimee’ messages from devoted Taylor Swift fans.

The Tortured Poets Department saw Taylor blisteringly address multiple exes, including Joe Alwyn and Matty Healy.

Taylor  officially dropped The Tortured Poets Department – her 11th studio album – on Friday, leaving fans scrambling to unravel the many pointed references to various romantic partners hidden within the lyrics of her songs.

But while Taylor made several digs at the likes of Joe and Matty, her former boyfriends were not the only people to find themselves at the pointy end of the singer’s razor-tongued attacks.

Reality star Kim was also among the targets of the album, with listeners calling out not one, but two ‘diss tracks’ in which Taylor appears to reference her bitter feud with the reality star as well as with Kanye.

Taylor’s album was officially released at midnight ET (2am UK time), but just two hours later, she revealed on social media that there was a ‘second installment’, titled The Anthology, having sparked a flurry of speculation that a shock reveal was coming when she shared a countdown clock on social media.

Among the tracks included in that second release is a song titled thanK you aIMee, which fans are now convinced is aimed specifically at Kim.

Fans also called out another song called Cassandra, which makes several references to ‘snakes’; the snake emoji has played a major role in the ongoing feud between Taylor and Kim, as well as the reality star’s ex-husband Kanye West, leading many to believe that the track is yet another subtle jab.

Taylor Swift reignited her explosive feud with Kim by releasing two brutal songs aimed at the reality star

Fans are convinced one of the 31 tracks – thaK you aIMee – is aimed at Kim, as the letter K,I and M are capped up to spell out her name

The song, which was released on the surprise ‘double’ version of The Tortured Poets Department, takes aim at a person named ‘Aimee’, who fans are convinced is actually Kim

A second track, titled Cassandra, is also being called out for its apparent references to Taylor’s feud with both Kim and her ex-husband Kanye West

Taylor’s exes Joe Alwyn (left) and Matty Healy (right) also found themselves at the center of furious speculation over supposed digs the singer made at both of them in her songs

Meanwhile thanK you aIMee centers on Taylor’s apparent dislike for a mean school girl she refers to as ‘Aimee’ – with fans convinced that the person she is actually singing about is Kim.

Taylor sings in one line: ‘There’s a bronze spray-tanned statue of you and a plaque underneath it/That threatens to push me down the stairs, at our school.’

‘All that time you were throwin’ punches, I was buildin’ somethin’ / And I can’t forgive the way you made me feel / Screamed ‘F**k you, Aimee’ to the night sky, as the blood was gushin’ / But I can’t forget the way you made me heal.’

She goes on to add: ‘And it wasn’t a fair fight, or a clean kill / Each time that Aimee stomped across my gravе / And then she wrote hеadlines/ In the local paper, laughing at each baby step I’d take.’

Taylor concludes by confirming she’s changed the name of the woman she’s singing about – further fueling speculation the track is about Kim.

She also seems to reference Kim’s 10-year-old daughter North West dancing to her 2014 single Shake It Off on TikTok, finding it ironic as the ‘song is about you’.

She sings: ‘And so I changed your name, and any real defining clues/And one day, your kid comes home singin’ a song that only us two is gonna know is about you.’

Sharing their thoughts on social media platform X, one fan described the song as ‘The ultimate f**k you,’ while another shocked listener said: ‘OMFG thanK you aIMee is about Kim Kardashian. This album is SO unhinged.’

Another chimed in: ‘Kim your day of reckoning is here,’ while one simply wrote: ‘Welcome to your tape.’

While the references in Cassandra are largely more subtle, that hasn’t stopped fans from calling out the way in which Taylor appears to be going after Kim.

Many believe that the title character, Cassandra, is Taylor, while references to ‘the call’ are meant to allude to a phone call between the singer and Kanye, which Kim secretly recorded and posted online.

Additionally, the references to ‘snakes’ in the song are being compared to the use of snake emojis throughout the feud between the trio.

‘thanK you, aIMee may be about Kim, but Dear Reader, please don’t overlook the fact that Cassandra is a brilliant retelling of how Kanye, Kim, and the extended Kardashian family knew the truth and tried to ruin Taylor’s career anyway. Stay for the jabs at Yeezus/Sunday Sessions,’ one said.

‘Cassandra is Taylor and she warned everyone about Kim but no one believed her oh taygod,’ one person shared on X.

Another agreed, writing: ‘Taylor is Cassandra. She tried to warn people about Kim/the Kardashians but people wouldn’t believe her.’

Taylor and Kim’s longtime row actually began thanks to the singer’s dispute with Kanye in 2009, when he famously stormed the stage at the VMAs when she won the prize for Best Female Video.

A furious Kanye took to the stage to declare that Beyonce should have won the prize, telling Taylor: ‘Yo, Taylor, I’m really happy for you. I’mma let you finish, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time.’

Taylor also seems to reference Kim’s 10-year-old daughter North West dancing to Shake It Off on TikTok back in January, she writes:# your kid comes home singin’ a song that only us two is gonna know is about you’

Taylor sings in one line: ‘There’s a bronze spray-tanned statue of you and a plaque underneath it/That threatens to push me down the stairs, at our school.’ (pictured with Kim in 2015)

Taylor also seems to hit out at Kim’s 10-year-old daughter North West as she sings: ‘And so I changed your name, and any real defining clues/And one day, your kid comes home singin’ a song that only us two is gonna know is about you.’

The moment was quickly slammed by furious viewers, as Taylor was then unable to finish her acceptance speech, though Beyonce later invited her on-stage while she accepted the Video Of The Year prize.

After tying the knot with Kanye in 2014, Kim was proudly at his side when he received the coveted Vangard Award at the VMAs.

Appearing to show their feud was quashed, it was Taylor who presented him with the prize, and the pair appeared to have brought an end to their row.

However, in a later interview, Taylor noted that this was far from the case, as Kanye declared on stage that she was asked to present the award ‘for ratings,’ and she refused to speak to him backstage.

She told Rolling Stone: ‘I’m standing in the audience with my arm around his wife, and this chill ran through my body.

‘I realized he is so two-faced. That he wants to be nice to me behind the scenes, but then he wants to look cool, get up in front of everyone and talk s**t. And I was so upset. He wanted me to come talk to him after the event in his dressing room. I wouldn’t go.’

Adding an explosive new level to their feud, Kanye shocked the internet when he released his new song Famous.

It featured the vulgar lyrics ‘I feel like me and Taylor Swift might still have 𝑠e𝑥/Why? I made that b***h famous.’

Sharing their thoughts on social media platform X, fans wrote: ‘The ultimate f**k you’

The track sparked a huge backlash from Taylor’s fans, and Kanye furiously defended himself in a now-deleted tweet that said: ‘I called Taylor and had an hour-long convo with her about the line, and she thought it was funny and gave her blessings.’

Taylor’s representative then hit back, telling People: ‘Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single Famous on her Twitter account.

‘She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, ‘I made that b***h famous.”’

Kim sparked a social media firestorm when she shared a Snapchat video of Kanye during a phonecall with Taylor, where the rapper appeared to ask her for permission to include lyrics about her in his new song.

After rapping the line, West can be heard saying: ‘I think this is a really cool thing to have.’

Swift responds: ‘I know, it’s like a compliment, kind of. Yeah, I mean, what’s dope about the line is it’s very tongue in cheek either way. And I really appreciate you telling me about it, that’s really nice.’

Taylor became the subject of furious backlash when the video was shared online, with many accusing her of being a snake.

After Kim’s post made her the subject of multiple ‘snake’ memes, Taylor stood by her version of events in a furious social media statement.

She wrote: ‘That moment when Kanye West secretly records your phone call, then Kim posts it on the Internet.’

The statement read: ‘Where is the video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me ‘that b****’ in his song?

‘It doesn’t exist because it never happened. You don’t get to control someone’s emotional response to being called ‘that b****’ in front of the entire world.’

It is the Bad Blood singer’s 11th studio album since she burst onto the music scene in 2006

‘He promised to play the song for me, but he never did. While I wanted to be supportive of Kanye on the phone call, you cannot ‘approve’ a song you haven’t heard.

‘Being falsely painted as a liar when I was never given the full story or played any part of the song is character assassination. I would very much like to be excluded from this narrative, one that I have never asked to be a part of, since 2009.’

After hitting back, Taylor took a year-long break from the limelight, and only returned when she released her new single Look What You Made Me Do, in 2017.

After taking a lengthy break from the spotlight, Taylor made a sensational return with her track Look What You Made Me Do.

In the song, and it’s accompanying video, the star took aim at the trolls who had furiously branded her a ‘snake’ after Kim’s phonecall leak.

One clip from the video shows Taylor sitting on a throne surrounded by snakes, a pointed dig at Kim and Kanye.

Later the line ‘Et tu Brute’ is seen carved onto her throne — apparently bemoaning former friend Kim’s apparent betrayal.

After several years of relative silence between Taylor and Kanye, the star furiously took to Instagram to hit out at celebrity manager Scooter, who had purchased the rights to her masters in 2019.

In her post she once again took a pointed dig at Kanye and his 2016 track Famous.

She wrote: ‘ Some fun facts about today’s news: I learned about Scooter Braun’s purchase of my masters as it was announced to the world.

‘All I could think about was the incessant, manipulative bullying I’ve received at his hands for years. Like when Kim Kardashian orchestrated an illegally recorded snippet of a phone call to be leaked and then Scooter got his two clients together to bully me online about it.

‘Or when his client, Kanye West, organized a revenge porn music video that strips my body naked.’

In her track Miss Americana, Taylor noted that she felt ‘alone and bitter’ during her fall-out with Kanye and Kim, adding that she was branded ‘wicked and evil’.

She said: ‘When people decided I was wicked and evil and conniving and not a good person, that was the one I couldn’t really bounce back from, because my whole life was centred around it.’

‘I felt really alone, I felt really bitter, I felt sort of like a wounded animal lashing out. I figured I had to reset everything.’

Taylor and Kim’s longtime row actually began thanks to the singer’s dispute with Kanye in 2009, when he famously stormed the stage at the VMAs

In the leaked footage , Kanye is seen informing Taylor he is writing a song about her and asking her if she could hype it up by tweeting about it.

Kanye tells her: ‘It has a very controversial line at the beginning of the song about you.’

Kanye then told Taylor she ‘sounded sad’, and the singer questioned if the lyrics were ‘mean’, at which point he reassured her that he didn’t think they were.

He then says the lyric: ‘To all my Southside n***as that know me best / I feel like Taylor Swift might owe me 𝑠e𝑥.’

Taylor laughs and says: ‘That’s not mean.’

Kanye goes on: ‘If you felt that it’s funny and cool and hip hop, and felt like it’s the College Dropout and Ye that you love, people would be way into it, and that’s why I think it’s super genius to have you be the one that says, ‘Oh I like this song a lot… this is cool.’

Taylor then tells Kanye she needs some time to think about it, adding: ‘When you hear something for the first time you need to think about it, because it is absolutely crazy.’

There is no mention Kanye would call her a ‘b***h’ or suggest he ‘made her famous’ during the phone call.

Taking to social media after the phonecall was leaked, Taylor said the conversation is ‘proving that I was telling the truth the whole time about *that call* (you know, the one that was illegally recorded that somebody edited, and manipulated in order to frame me and put me, my family, and fans through hell for 4 years)…’

In her Instagram Story post, Swift basically asked people to now move on from the headline-grabbing infamous feud between her and Kim and Kanye that stems from the rapper’s lyrics in his track Famous.

She started her post by saying: ‘Instead of answering those who are asking how I feel about the video footage that leaked…’ before adding in parentheses how she does feel.

She then concluded: ‘SWIPE UP to see what really matters.’

The singer directed her followers to the Feeding America website, suggesting they donate to the nonprofit organization that operates a network of food banks helping people impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.

Days after the phone call was leaked, Kim posted a series of messages claiming Swift is not being fully truthful about the 2016 phone call with her and Kanye about the song Famous – and the ongoing dispute as to whether Swift was aware of West’s lyrics, in which he called her a ‘b****.’

She also slammed Taylor for her timing in rehashing the feud as the country remains locked down amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians wrote, ‘@taylorswift has chosen to reignite an old exchange – that at this point in time feels very self-serving given the suffering millions of real victims are facing right now.’

Things seem friendly between the pair in 2015, when Taylor presented Kanye with the Vangard Award at the VMAs, but she later admitting in an interview she thought he was ‘two-faced’

Kardashian said she had been avoiding giving the issue any oxygen amid the ongoing global outbreak – and was unhappy about doing so Monday – but needed to in an effort to defend her reputation.

‘I didn’t feel the need to comment a few days ago, and I’m actually really embarrassed and mortified to be doing it right now, but because she continues to speak on it, I feel I’m left without a choice but to respond because she is actually lying,’ Kardashian said.

The Calabasas native explained the nuances of the situation from her perspective: ‘To be clear, the only issue I ever had around the situation was that Taylor lied through her publicist who stated that ‘Kanye never called to ask for permission…’ They clearly spoke so I let you all see that.’

Taylor’s long time publicist quickly responded with a social media post of her own.

Tree Paine tweeted: ‘I’m Taylor’s publicist and this is my UNEDITED original statement. Btw, when you take parts out, that’s editing.

‘P.S. who did you guys p*** off to leak that video?’ followed by several laughing/crying emojis.

Kim continued: ‘Nobody ever denied the word ‘b****’ was used without her permission.

‘At the time when they spoke the song had not been fully written yet, but as everyone can see in the video, she manipulated the truth of their actual conversation in her statement when her team said she ‘declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message.”

Kim clarified her take on the issue, and how she felt actions she and West took were ethical.

‘The lie was never about the word b****, It was always whether there was a call or not and the tone of the conversation. I never edited the footage (another lie) – I only posted a few clips on Snapchat to make my point and the full video that recently leaked doesn’t change the narrative,’ she said.

‘To add, Kanye as an artist has every right to document his musical journey and process, just like she recently did through her documentary.

‘Kanye has documented the making of all of his albums for his personal archive, however has never released any of it for public consumption and the call between the two of them would have remained private or would have gone in the trash had she not lied and forced me to defend him.’

Kardashian made clear she is done commenting on the situation amid the unprecedented times due to the pandemic.

‘This will be the last time I speak on this because honestly, nobody cares,’ she said. ‘Sorry to bore you all with this. I know you are all dealing with more serious and important matters.’

At the MTV VMAs, Taylor announced she is dropping a brand new album on October 21st and it didn’t take fans long to realise that day also happens to be Kim Kardashian’s 42nd birthday.

‘Taylor Swift announcing a new album on the 13th anniversary of the Kanye West VMA sh**show, 5 years after the premier of LWYMMD at the VMAs, which will drop on Kim Kardashian’s birthday is ICON behaviour,’ one fan wrote.

Another said: ‘It’s been 13 years since THAT Kanye-Taylor moment at the VMAs and now Taylor decides to announce her brand new album with 13 tracks at the VMAs today that will be released on October 21st which also happens to be Kim K’s birthday. HER MINDDDDD!!!’

After being named as TIME’s Person Of The Year, Taylor Swift slammed Kim for ‘taking her down psychologically’ and forcing her into hiding during their long-running feud – while subtly branding the reality star and her ex-husband Kanye West as ‘trash’.

After taking a lengthy break from the spotlight, Taylor made a sensational return with her track Look What You Made Me Do, which took a pointed dig at Kim and her ‘snake’ references

The singer, 33, who has been named TIME Magazine’s Person of the Year, dished on the dispute which started when Kim’s then-husband Kanye West wrote a 2016 song to include vulgar lyrics about the rising star.

He claimed Taylor had consented to the reference but, after denying it, Kim also weighed in and released what the popstar described as ‘an illegally recorded phone call’ between the pair which she claimed proved otherwise.

Taylor has now said that the public fallout said it felt like ‘a career death,’ adding: ‘Make no mistake — my career was taken away from me.’

Discussing the aftermath and the brutal toll that it took on her wellbeing, Taylor told the outlet: ‘You have a fully manufactured frame job, in an illegally recorded phone call, which Kim Kardashian edited and then put out to say to everyone that I was a liar.’

‘That took me down psychologically to a place I’ve never been before. I moved to a foreign country. I didn’t leave a rental house for a year. I was afraid to get on phone calls.’

Although she didn’t elaborate on where she moved to, Swift began dating British actor Joe Alwyn in late 2016, and it was widely rumored that she had rented a home in London in order to spend more time with him.

During that period, she all but vanished from the public eye, something that she says came as a result of the Kardashian and West fallout.

‘I pushed away most people in my life because I didn’t trust anyone anymore. I went down really, really hard.’

Most of the pop icon’s next album Reputation, released in 2017, was aimed at her experience during the ordeal.

But the abundance of snake imagery used in veiled reference to mom-of-four Kim, now 43, only reignited the furor.

‘I thought that moment of backlash was going to define me negatively for the rest of my life,’ she explained.

Jason Kelce’s Wife Claps Back After He’s Called Out For “Playing Fetch” With His Kids After Practice: “Just Say You Don’t Have Toddlers”

    Jason Kelce

Yesterday the NFL and the Philadelphia Eagles shared a heartwarming video of Kelce playing with his daughters on the field after practice.

The on-screen caption read “Best. Dad. Ever.” while the post was captioned:

“Jason Kelce always stays late after practice to play with his daughters.”

The video shows him throwing a football with two of their three daughters.

Jason Kelce’s wife, Kylie, was not about to let people dad shame the NFL star.

Shortly after the video was posted, people took to the comments saying that he was playing “fetch” with his kids.

Kylie was not having it and quickly stood up to the haters.

The New York Post reported that she reposted the video adding the following caption:

“People in these comments saying ‘He’s playing fetch with his kids like they are dogs!

Just say you don’t have toddlers. If you listen, you can hear him counting. So technically, they are racing.”

Like his wife, many other comments were defending Jason as a parent.

    “Those are his coaches now.”

“Look how happy they are! He’s such a fantastic dad to his girls. Love when he talks about them, or we see them in his podcast with Travis.”

“People who are hating….shut up. Clearly, you don’t have kids. Get the outta here.”

While being in the midst of training camp, quality time with your kids might look a little different. The little girls appear to be having a blast running back and forth to their father.

Kylie posted last week an appreciation post for Jason. The couple welcomed their third child into the world in February, and Jason is gearing up to return for his 13th NFL season.

“This off-season proved yet again how your drive and work ethic are absolutely remarkable.

We can’t wait to see the results of that this season. As always, your ladies will be cheering you on every step of the way!”

One thing is for sure; these little girls have a superstar father balancing the demanding schedule of an NFL player and still making time to build core memories with his kids.

The Kelce girls look like they adore their dad in this video… can’t help but warm your heart.

What if I told you none of it was accidental?

Taylor Swift released her 11th studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” on Friday to much fanfare — and true to form, she was seemingly dropping hints at the project’s track list as far back as last fall.

As Taylor Swift Style blogger Sarah Chapelle pointed out on Instagram over the weekend, the pop superstar accessorized several of her appropriately academia-inspired fall and winter outfits with pieces that share names with the characters in her new songs.

The musician’s “The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology” is packed with 31 tracks and clocks in at over two hours long.BETH GARRABRANT

“Taylor has always said that she loves using fashion as a way to foreshadow future works,” Chapelle tells Page Six Style.

“I think she enjoys it when fans comb back through the previous year to pick up the things we was silently communicating to us about her state of mind and what she was working on.”

In October, for instance, Swift was spotted at LA hotspot Sushi Park with her hair pulled back by an Anthropologie Aimee Claw Hair Clip ($24 for three); the back half of “TTPD” features a track called “thanK you aIMee,” which is widely believed to be about her long-running feud with Kim Kardashian, based on the title’s telling capitalization.

“At least she changed any real defining clues,” Chapelle quipped in her Instagram Reel spotlighting the apparent Easter egg, quoting lyrics from the tune.

“unhinged behaviour,” a follower cracked in the comments.

Then, in November, the chart-topper toted a deep green Saint Laurent Cassandra Shoulder Bag ($2,850) while out and about in NYC; “Tortured Poets” includes a song named after and inspired by Cassandra of Troy, the Greek mythological figure who was given the gift of prophecy, but cursed by the god Apollo so her warnings would never be believed.

“This is actually insane,” one fan commented on Chapelle’s Reel highlighting the connection.

    “Omg!!!! Mastermind,” wrote another.

And in January, Swift finished one of her quiet-luxury looks with a pair of The Row’s Robin Boots ($1,290) — three months before dropping a track titled “Robin” that explores the delicate innocence of childhood.

Taylor Swift fans use clues to work out the exact dates she recorded songs on record-breaking album The Tortured Poets Department

Taylor Swift fans have been hard work since the release of The Tortured Poets Department earlier last week – with some figuring out dates that she recorded tracks off the album.

The Bad Blood songstress, 34 – whose latest LP is prepared to shatter her own sales record – also recently gave insight into the meanings behind a few tracks on the 11th studio album, such as Fortnight and Clara Bow.

Earlier last year during breaks in her sold-out Eras Tour, the Grammy winner stopped by Electric Lady Studios in NYC. Unbeknownst to fans at the time, she had been recording songs for her new album.

Jack Antonoff – who helped produce TTPD – recently shared behind-the-scenes moments of the recording process, which aided fans in comparing outfits to configure when recordings for certain tracks had taken place.

One social media user on X with the handle @bigsurlor shared side-by-side photos taken at the studio as well as the BTS images uploaded by Antonoff.

The fan on X first uploaded a photo of Taylor leaving the music studio on May 18 of last year wearing a short-sleeved, white shirt as well as a pair of floral-print trousers.

Her blonde locks were pulled back into a simple ponytail at the back of her head, allowing her bangs to gently fall onto her forehead.

Jack had also shared a reel of Swift in the midst of recording The Black Dog while sporting the same ensemble and hairstyle.

Later that same month on May 24, the singer was spotted returning to the studio in a white cropped top as well as a matching, maxi skirt.

Based on his comment in the interview, the fan on X assumed their collaboration on Fortnight occurred ‘between october 4-october 10, 2023.’

Earlier this week, Taylor revealed the inspirations behind some songs on TTPD in a special, track-by-track experience that is available to stream on Amazon Music.

In regards to Florida!!!, she explained, ‘I’m always watching Dateline. People have these crimes that they commit; where do they immediately skip town and go to? They go to Florida.’

‘They try to reinvent themselves, have a new identity, blend in. I think when you go through a heartbreak, there’s a part of you that thinks, “I want a new name. I want a new life. I don’t want anyone to know where I’ve been or know me at all.”‘

She also talked about Fortnight featuring Post Malone – which became Spotify’s most-streamed song in a single day.

‘Fortnight is a song that exhibits a lot of the common themes that run throughout this album,’ Swift explained.

‘One of which being fatalism—longing, pining away, lost dreams. I think that it’s a very fatalistic album in that there are lots of very dramatic lines about life or death.’

‘”I love you, it’s ruining my life.” These are very hyperbolic, dramatic things to say. It’s that kind of album.’

She also delved into other tracks and their meaning, including Who’s Afraid Of Little Old Me?, My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys, Down Bad and Clara Bow – which she said was written ‘as a commentary on what I’ve seen in the industry that I’ve been in over time.’

Other records TTPD has broken include the star having the biggest first-week sales to date, per Billboard.

She also shared a message to her fans about the meaning behind the music video and penned, ‘When I was writing the Fortnight music video, I wanted to show you the worlds I saw in my head that served as the backdrop for making this music.’

‘Pretty much everything in it is a metaphor or a reference to one corner of the album or another. For me, this video turned out to be the perfect visual representation of this record and the stories I tell in it.’

Next month on May 9, Taylor is slated to resume her Eras Tour following a two-month break which will kick off in France, followed by other dates throughout Europe; seen in March in Singapore

She gushed, ‘@postmalone blew me away on set as our tortured tragic hero and I’m so grateful to him for everything he put into this collaboration.’

‘I’m still laughing from getting to work with the coolest guys on earth, @ethanhawke and @mrjoshcharles (tortured poets, meet your colleagues from down the hall, the dead poets).’

Going into labor means a lot of hard work ahead—for moms, anyway. For dads who accompany their partner to the hospital, well, it can mean a lot of waiting (in addition to playing a vital support role, of course). In a viral TikTok video, NFL player Jason Kelce’s wife, Kylie, hilariously called him out for his version of “support” while she was in labor with their third baby.

“My husband crushes the role of labor support person,” she wrote in the caption. The text overlay on the video adds, “Three ways my husband was a tremendous support person while I was in labor,” over a video of Travis peacefully snoozing in a corner of the delivery room. The camera pans across the room to reveal the first way: he brought his own fan to the hospital, which is perched on the end of Kylie’s bed, blowing gently on his face as he catches those Z’s.

Next, the video shows Jason taking a massive bite of a bagel sandwich, with the text overlay reading, “2. Made sure he didn’t miss a meal (even though I wasn’t allowed to eat anything).”

Finally, the third way is “Stayed well rested,” over yet another video of Jason fast asleep in the delivery room.

Kylie makes it clear that she’s joking when she ends the video with a sweet shot of Jason cuddling their newborn daughter, Bennett. The two also share daughters Wyatt, 3, and Elliotte, 2.

In an upcoming episode of the YouTube series “Last Meals,” Jason gives his side of the story.

“I was doing a lot of sleeping. There’s not much you can do,” he says, laughing, in a preview video shared by People. “You try and get water when your wife is running out of things. ‘Is there anything I can do? Can I go grab things?’ Outside of that, it’s a lot of sitting around waiting for the fireworks to get going.”

As for his giant bagel sandwich, he added, “I think the mistake that a lot of dads make, when your wife goes into labor—a lot of times you’re sitting around all day. You haven’t eaten anything all day. And this is why I think a lot of guys pass out. Seriously, their blood sugar levels are low, man. That’s why I’m eating bagels. That’s why I’m trying to get all of this food down. I want to be there.”

There you have it. Dads are crucial in that support role for their partners, but as the old saying goes, you have to put your own oxygen mask on first.
