A sweet moment captured on video showed Taylor Swift laughing with joy as her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, effortlessly caught a football that was sent flying over a group of charity gala attendees over the weekend.

 

The “Anti-Hero” songstress and the NFL star were at the gala in support of Kelce’s friend and teammate, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes’ 15 and the Mahomies Foundation held the gala on Sat., April 27 as part of a weekend-long golf charity event in Las Vegas.

In videos that surfaced the day after the gala, fans of the couple were thrilled to see that Swift and Kelce had dressed to the nines for the event, with Swift wearing a gorgeous green dress and Kelce wearing a dark suit that he paired with a white button-down shirt.

Another video shared on Instagram by a Swift fan account captured the “Shake It Off” singer’s reaction to watching Kelce catch a football in the middle of the fancy gala.

The incident began when Mahomes stood on the event’s stage, a football in hand as he waited for Kelce to prepare himself to catch it. In the video, Swift could be seen smiling and laughing as she turned her head away from the stage to watch Kelce attempt to catch the ball.

 

The angle of the video clip shifted away from Swift to show Kelce maneuver between tables before he made a small jump to snag the ball out of the air. He then ran a short victory lap around a nearby table as he grinned and slapped hands with other gala attendees.

The gala served as the power couple’s most recent public outing together. Kelce has been enjoying a break before the start of the next NFL season, and Swift has had some time off from performing with her international Eras Tour on pause until May. The two have been spotted on dinner dates in Los Angeles and attending Coachella together.

Travis also posed for a photo alongside the music producer and his manager Myles Shear while living it up at the Wynn Hotel’s famous nightclub. The three-time Super Bowl champion, who reached an agreement on a two-year contract extension with the Chiefs Monday, shared an emotional video confirming the news.

‘Chiefs forever,’ he said in the clip, which was posted to X.

‘Back at it again, baby. Had to see a little Super Bowl right here man,’ he went on, pointing to his Super Bowl LVIII hat.
