Taylor Swift has given her stamp of approval.

The singer reacted to a social media theory linking her latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” to its 2022 predecessor, “Midnights.”

“The first lyric from the first song on the album ‘Fortnight’ reflects the last song on ‘Midnights,’” fan Patty Eminger said in a recent Instagram video.

She “liked” a post linking “The Tortured Poets Department” to “Midnights.”

The upload made a connection between the albums’ first and last lyrics.
The “Fortnight” lyric, notably, reads, “I was supposed to be sent away / But they forgot to come and get me.” 

As for the last song on “Midnights,” the last line in “Hits Different” asks, “Is that your key in the door / Is it OK? / Is it you? / Or have they come to take me away?”

After pointing out the connection, Eminger concluded, “The album is just pure mania, and I heard someone describe it as ‘Tolerate It’ [from 2020’s ‘Evermore’] on meth, and I was like, ‘Perfect, just what I wanted.’”

When the pop star “liked” the upload, seemingly confirming Eminger’s conclusion, Swifties celebrated his success in the comments section. 

“If Taylor Swift liking this doesn’t validate you, I don’t know what will 😂 you got the trophy for pointing this out!” one gushed.

Another added, “Taylor liked it so this interpretation is kinda approved by the chairman herself!”

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, began dating Swift last year and is believed to be referenced in two of her new songs, “So High School” and “The Alchemy.”

On Tuesday, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, 28, shared a video on his Instagram Story of his daughter Sterling Skye, 3, and son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, 15 months, joining him on the golf course.

In the sweet clip, Sterling hit a golf ball with her plastic club, while her brother Bronze used his red golf club to hit the ball on the ground before it bounced away.

Patrick tagged his wife Brittany Mahomes, also 28, in the video and added three crying with laughter emojis to the caption.

Brittany also shared two snaps of Bronze on the course on her Instagram Story and showed off the little one’s golfing outfit.

Matching his clubto his tracksuit bottoms, Bronze sported a pair of red Adidas joggers, a black zip-up Adidas hoodie and black and white check Vans sneakers. “Swag ,” the former soccer player captioned one of the shots.

Earlier in the day, Brittany also shared a video on her Instagram Story of Patrick practicing his swing using a brand new silver golf club in their home.

“A kid in a candy store getting new golf clubs,” Brittany said before her husband smiled and nodded at the camera.

The mother of two then filmed her kids sitting in a stroller as they made their way to golf course.

On Sunday, Brittany gave another glimpse into her life as a mom as she revealed her son is very much a mommy’s boy.

Alongside an adorable snap of herself cradling Bronze in a carrier strapped to her chest, she wrote, “My VERY attached 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 boy,” adding a teary-eyed and heart emoji to the caption.

Bronze smiled at the camera in the Instagram Story shot while wearing a onesie printed with chili peppers and Tabasco sauce bottles.

Matty Healy will have free license to write about his romance with Taylor Swift on any forthcoming release with The 1975 because he didn’t sign a non-disclosure agreement while dating the singer.

Healy, 35, is thought to have provided inspiration for a series of unflattering and occasionally eviscerating lyrics on Swift’s latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, following their brief relationship in 2023.

Numerous tracks on the album refer to an unnamed wayward boyfriend, among them But Daddy I Love Him, Down Bad, I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can) and The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived.

But Healy will have an opportunity to respond while writing and recording a new album with The 1975 – the band’s sixth and their follow up to 2022 release Being Funny In A Foreign Language.

Healy alluded to his former relationship with R&B artist FKA twigs numerous times on the album, with stand out tracks I’m In Love With You, All I Need To Hear and When We Are Together believed to be inspired by their romance.

‘Matty is currently keeping a low profile working on The 1975’s next album. This time last week he had no idea he was about to become one of the most talked about men on the planet,’ a source told The Sun.

The insider added fans should wait in anticipation for when the band’s next album drops.

It comes as Healy broke his silence on Wednesday on the music which documents their failed romance.

Asked by a reporter from Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday what he thought of the ‘diss track’ he politely replied: ‘I haven’t really listened to that much of it but I’m sure it’s good.’

Swift’s eleventh album was released on April 19 as speculation the diss song was about Healy hit fever pitch around the world.

Choice lyrics refer to a man in a ‘Jehovah’s Witness suit’ responsible for ‘rusting my sparkling summer’.

Healy is known for wearing distinctive black suits during live performances and the pair are believed to have broken up in June 2023.

According to Us Weekly, his reaction has been positive, and the people close to him ‘couldn’t be happier’ with how the record turned out.

A source said on Saturday: ‘Matty still thinks very highly of Taylor but we were all nervous about what she might have said on the album.

‘Matty’s family were worried that Taylor was going to rip him apart. Matty has struggled with life in the public eye, and he’s been doing really well, but the last thing that he needs is for every Swiftie in the world to think he’s a villain.’

Another insider told the publication: ‘He was worried that their story would be shed in a negative light’ but was ‘really appreciative of the heads up’ he got from Swift.
