Travis Kelce didn’t touch on the joke Golden Globes host Jo Koy made about his romance with Taylor Swift on his New Heights podcast today. (A source claimed to Daily Mail on Monday that Swift “doesn’t have time to clap back at anyone, nor does she want to. Instead, he opted to divulge some details about his Valentine’s Day plans with Taylor Swift…during an ad segment for Etsy.

Page Six pointed out that in a recent episode of the podcast, Travis spoke about the “pressure” he is feeling to find the right gift for Swift while promoting Etsy, a popular e-commerce site where vendors can sell handmade, custom, or vintage goods.

“Whether you’re feeling the Valentine’s Day pressure like Jason and I, or trying to figure out the right gift for a significant other, Etsy is the go-to destination for adding that special touch,” Travis began. He went on to call it “the real MVP” when it comes to “finding the perfect game-winning gift for Valentine’s Day.” Time will tell whether he hits up the e-comm platform to buy Swift a gift.

The Kelce brothers spoke a little more about how Jason handles Valentine’s Day gifts for his wife, Kylie, in the ad. Jason said he usually waits until the “last second like every other man out here on the planet,” but called Etsy a go-to platform for him, of course. Additionally, “I usually get the same chocolates every year and the same flowers and a card,” Jason said.

“Ohhh, that’s adorable. Oh my gosh, chocolate and flowers?” Travis responded.

Travis did not attend the Golden Globes with Swift, despite also being in Los Angeles that day for the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Multiple sources told Page Six days before that Kelce would “fly back to Kansas City with his team right after the game.”

NBA fans can have all the Michael Jordan and LeBron James GOAT debates they want, but his Airness is still well ahead when it comes to the highest-paid athlete in sports history.

Kurt Badenhausen of Sportico shared the publication’s top-10 highest-paid athletes ever, and Jordan tops the list with inflation-adjusted earnings of $3.75 billion. Golf legend Tiger Woods is second at $2.66 billion, while James rounds out the top five at $1.7 billion.

Jordan was a legendary player on the court, winning six championships, six NBA Finals MVPs, five league MVPs and 10 scoring titles.

However, he played before salaries significantly expanded to today’s rates and was the league’s highest-paid player in just two of his 15 seasons. Badenhausen noted he made $94 million during his playing career, which would be nowhere near enough to put him atop this list.

Yet endorsement partnerships with Nike, Gatorade, Hanes, Upper Deck and more led to the majority of his riches.

The relationship in Nike in particular is a famous one, and the company’s pursuit of the rookie basketball star was the focus of the 2023 movie Air, which starred Viola Davis, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck and Jason Bateman, among others.

Jordan ended up signing with Nike in 1984 on a royalty-based deal that is still quite fruitful with Badenhausen pointing out Jordan Brand accounted for $6.6 billion in revenue last year alone.

Like Jordan, Woods made most of his money through incentives instead of PGA Tour prize money. The 15-time major champion has made $121 million in PGA Tour prize money, but partnerships with Nike, Bridgestone and far more accounted for the majority of his earned money.

 

Yet Jordan remains the gold standard even though he is more than 20 years removed from his retirement.

“I just hit copy paste,” Kylie — who shares three daughters with Philadelphia Eagles Center Jason Kelce — wrote over the picture of Bennett and Wyatt displaying the same beaming smiles. Kylie then shared the same snap alongside her daughter’s names to specify who was who.

Meanwhile, Jason opened up to PEOPLE in May about being a girl dad.

“I love all my girls,” he said. “Before I had children, I told myself if I ever have a daughter, I’m just going to treat them exactly the same as a son. I don’t think that you should treat kids necessarily different.”

“And then when I had a daughter, I was like, ‘I’m not going to spoil her, I’m going to raise her tough. She’s going to be hard.’ And the moment she came out, I was like, ‘Yeah, that’s not going to work.’ ”

The sports star added that his two oldest girls are similar but different in unique ways, explaining that “Wyatt is headstrong and very opinionated” while Elliotte “is more go with the flow, kind of just following her big sister.”

He also reflected on what becoming a parent had taught him.

“I think I told my mom after Wyatt was born, maybe the first year, I was like, ‘I’m sorry, I had no idea what you guys were actually sacrificing and doing on a daily basis for us,’ ” the NFL center explained. “Being a father is by far the biggest highlight of my life, no question about it.”

Taylor Swift is reportedly focused on getting the body of her dreams, now that her romance with Travis Kelce is moving forward.

The 33-year-old singer is “on a mission to get a bigger butt” and is already on a fitness plan, a source told the National Enquirer.

“She’s learning everything she can about how to do it naturally with squats and nutrition. Her training is on board and has promised to help her add some serious muscle to her booty,” the source reportedly said.

“It’s going to take a lot of work and time in the gym.”

Travis Kelce was famous long before he met Taylor Swift. By the time the two started dating, he was already a Super Bowl winner, and one of the most popular players in the NFL. The elder Kelce brother revealed that Travis recently moved into a new home, but he didn’t get to enjoy the space. “The first day he moved into the new house…a gated community, someone knocks on a window of the house,” the football player shared.

That’s scary enough, but apparently, it was just the beginning for Travis. “People were just staying by his house,” Jason admitted. He added that eventually, his brother “had to completely move out of his house,” seemingly due to intrusions from fans.

The identities of these intruders weren’t revealed, so it’s not fair to say that they were all superfans of Swift. “We’ve always been big in the football world, Travis especially,” Jason confirmed…but it seems that the younger of the two siblings didn’t face these issues until his girlfriend’s fan base fell in love with him as well. “The Taylor world and the pop culture world, that’s a whole different level. It’s a new demographic that wasn’t there before,” Jason opined.

Kelce recently won the Super Bowl–again–this past Sunday (February 11). The high-profile win, which was made even more exciting for Swift’s fans by the fact that she was there to celebrate with her beau on the field following the game, is sure to only make him even more famous and bring more attention to the pair.

Kelce took to social media to comment on the situation, saying, “I am heartbroken over the tragedy that took place today. My heart is with all who came out to celebrate with us and have been affected.
