Breaking News: “I’m disgusted by Taylor Swift!” “It’s too much for me to handle,” exclaims Travis Kelce, ending his romance with Taylor Swift.

Travis Kelce has recently been besotted with Taylor Swift, but someone else in his life has his heart: his three nieces Wyatt, Bennett, and Elliotte.

Watch : I’m disgusted by Taylor Swift! “It’s too much for me to handle,” exclaims Travis Kelce, ending his romance with Taylor Swift…

“Travis is a great uncle,” an insider told People. “He loves spending time with his nieces. They try to do typical family stuff.”

The NFL’s tight end’s tight-nit bond with brother Jason Kelce’s daughters became public when the latter’s eldest daughter appeared on their podcast New Heights.

The father-of-three sweetly said, “Wyatt asked if she could say hi.” Travis replied, “What’s up girly? How are you doing?” asking, “How was gymnastics?”Besides Wyatt, Jason’s youngest kid Elliotte was also on the show via screen.”You’re smiling big,” Travis gushed to the toddler. “You’re making my day.”

Speaking about friends and family, the 34-year-old former Chiefs teammate Tyreek Hill jokingly told the press that the podcaster is not responding to his texts.

“I texted Kelce,” adding, “He still hasn’t texted me back.”

Amid Taylor’s romance, he took a humourous jab at him, “He’s probably still on his Taylor Swift thing… but yeah, man, those guys are too famous for me now, I guess.”

Jason Kelce’s new ESPN contract details revealed with millions made in multi-year deal and huge New Heights clause

JASON Kelce was “delighted” to pen a $1.8 million a year Monday Night Football deal with ESPN – because it allows him to continue working on his New Heights podcast with brother Travis.

The U.S. Sun has spoken to a source close to the Philadelphia Eagles legend who claims the three-year contract has a sign-on bonus of an extra $1 million.

Fox was keen to land Jason and was ready to offer a three-year deal, worth $2 million a year.

But The U.S. Sun understands that ESPN is happy to give him “full freedom” to work on New Heights, which was a deal breaker.

The podcast is continuing to make serious waves and we reported earlier this month how sponsors are queuing up for a piece of the action with deals worth an eye-watering $90 million.

ESPN, as part of the agreement, can buy New Heights if the brothers decide to sell before 2025.

Jason wanted to sign up with the sports broadcasting giant – Amazon, NBC, and CBS were also interested – because it is allowing him to extend his contract at the end of three years and renegotiate his salary.

He will join multiple Super Bowl-winning coach Bill Belichick on the new look Monday Night Football.

The insider said Jason took his time in making the decision, with so many interesting offers to consider.

But the option to just work on Mondays and have the rest of the week to spend time with his family and work on the pod was enough to seal the deal.

Jason is already getting to work, with the source saying, “He is already asking for advice from other members of the crew, and getting prepared for this next step.”

“I knew he wanted to be an analyst to start with, as it will give him great insight into the TV industry,” added the insider who is close to the Kelce family.

“The transition from retiring into something new has been smooth. He loves football, he loves his new life, and he thinks that this next step is the perfect one to transition and be in the football industry for many, many more years.”

The U.S. Sun has revealed the Kelce brothers have been approached by Hollywood bosses who have a $100 million budget for an action movie starring the NFL stars.

Travis, meanwhile, wants to establish himself as a media “heavyweight” and knows his relationship with singing sensation Taylor Swift has helped thrust his profile – and his brothers – into the mainstream.

The 34-year-old Travis wants to expand his horizons through television.

He’ll be the new host of Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? which is a spin-off of Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?

The series will be available to be streamed on Prime Video.

On Monday, Travis signed an adjusted contract with the Kansas City Chiefs, keeping him on the team for another two seasons.

The eight-time Pro Bowl tight end tweaked his current contract that runs through the 2025 season.

The adjusted contract raises Kelce’s 2024-25 total money from $30.25 million up to $34.25 million which guarantees $17 million at signing.

And the deal also guarantees “most of next year” on the third day of the 2025 league year, per ESPN.

Kelce will turn 35 in October as himself and the Chiefs will make their run at the NFL’s first-ever three-peat.

Beyond Beats: Cardi B’s Songs That Speak to the Soul and Stir Emotions

Cardi B’s Vulnerable Side: 5 Sad Songs by the Queen of Rap

Cardi B has rightfully earned her title as the Queen of Rap thanks to her bold personality and unapologetic lyrics. Known for hits like “Bodak Yellow”, “I Like It”, and “WAP”, Cardi B is rarely shy about flaunting her success, sexuality, and confidence. However, beneath her brash exterior lies a more sensitive side that shines through in some of her lesser-known, sadder songs. While Cardi B’s music is usually upbeat and brazen, she does have a handful of tracks that peel back the layers to reveal deeper emotions of sadness, heartbreak, and vulnerability. Here are 5 melancholic Cardi B songs that show her ability to tap into raw feelings of love, loss, and struggle.

    “Be Careful” (featuring Offset)

Released in 2018, “Be Careful” features Cardi B’s husband Offset and explores the complexities of relationships. On the surface, the song boasts about success and material things. However, it also addresses darker themes of infidelity and betrayal that come with navigating relationships in the spotlight. Cardi raps “I know you’re tired of being alone, I’m tired of being alone too/But that don’t mean we gotta rush into you.” She acknowledges the loneliness that comes with fame but warns that rushing into things won’t solve deeper issues. Offset echoes this sentiment, rapping “I done put you through some ish that you would never experience/So for that I’m sorry, please forgive me.” The song acknowledges the challenges of maintaining trust within a high-profile marriage. Beneath the bravado are hints of vulnerability as Cardi and Offset work through issues together in the public eye.

    “Ring”

Released in 2018, “Ring” takes a more introspective turn as Cardi reflects on a past relationship. Over a melancholic beat, she sings “I wonder if he ever thinks about me/Does he ever dream about me?” The song highlights Cardi’s softer vocal delivery as she ponders whether an ex ever looks back fondly on their time together. “Ring” strips back Cardi’s usual bravado to reveal a more sensitive side as she works through lingering feelings of heartbreak. The lyrics “I know you probably f**king moved on/But I’m still thinking ’bout the way it was” offer a rare glimpse into Cardi’s ability to feel regret, sadness, and longing after a breakup.

    “She Bad”

While “She Bad” from 2018 maintains Cardi’s signature swagger, it explores a breakup with surprising nuance. Rather than anger, the song expresses deep loneliness in its chorus “Since you left me, I feel so empty/I’m so lonely, I’m Mrs. Lonely.” Cardi reflects on how independent and strong she appears on the outside but feels lost within after losing a partner. The lyrics “I put my business out on the streets, now they all up in my sheets/I’m a boss bitch, yeah, that’s me/But I’m lonely as can be” highlight her ability to feel isolated despite career success. Underneath the boasts is a sense of sadness that comes from having her heart broken.

    “Honestly” (featuring PNB Rock)

Released in 2018, “Honestly” sees Cardi collaborate with rapper PNB Rock to discuss relationship struggles through honest lyrics. Both artists acknowledge being imperfect partners who have hurt their significant others at times. However, they also express a desire to be open about mistakes and grow from them. Cardi raps “I ain’t perfect, but I’m workin’ on it/Tryna hold you down and get up on it.” The song highlights her willingness to be self-aware about flaws and work on emotional growth. It offers a more somber look at navigating honesty, trust, and communication within intimate bonds.

    “Plea Deal”

Released in 2019, “Plea Deal” takes a turn from Cardi’s typical bravado with a raw reflection on her upbringing. Over a somber beat, she recalls struggles with poverty and legal issues as a teenager. Cardi raps about making tough choices like accepting plea deals to avoid riskier court cases that could jeopardize her future. The lyrics “I had to plead, I had to plead guilty/I had to plead, I had to plead guilty/They gave me a plea, I had to take it” offer a window into hardships she faced before fame. The song highlights her resilience in overcoming obstacles, as well as a willingness to be emotionally vulnerable about past struggles.

These deeper cuts show Cardi B’s ability to tap into raw emotions beneath her bold persona. While she’s best known for anthemic songs oozing with confidence, these 5 tracks reveal her skill at addressing complex feelings like heartbreak, loneliness, regret, and personal growth. They provide a nuanced look at Cardi as not just a brash rapper, but also a multi-dimensional artist capable of melancholy musings on love and life. Even the self-proclaimed “bad bitch” has softer sides, as these sad songs beautifully illustrate. They highlight her range and emotional depth beyond bravado – proving Cardi B is much more than just her hype hits.

  • Fearless & Fabulous: Inside Mary J. Blige’s Revolutionary Approach to Overcoming Obstacles

Fearless & Fabulous: Inside Mary J. Blige’s Revolutionary Approach to Overcoming Obstacles

For over 30 years, Mary J. Blige has cemented herself as the reigning Queen of Hip Hop Soul with her soulful vocals and raw, emotional lyrics. What’s often overlooked, however, is the incredible resilience, faith and vulnerability the singer has exhibited throughout her journey—qualities that have helped her face fears and overcome immense personal and professional challenges. While Blige hasn’t explicitly detailed a strategy for conquering fear, examining her career path and public persona reveals insights into how she approaches this universal human experience. This article will explore the ways music served as an outlet, how faith and inner strength fueled her rise, how directly facing difficulties strengthened her, and how vulnerability emerged as a superpower through piecing together comments from Blige as well as perspectives from those who know her.

Using Music as an Emotional Release

Blige’s early success in the 1990s stemmed from her debut album What’s the 411?, which featured emotionally raw lyrics addressing issues like poverty, heartbreak, and addiction that resonated deeply with listeners. For Blige, music seemed to serve as an emotional release and outlet to process fears and find her voice.

In a 1992 interview, Blige said “When I sing and write songs, it’s like going to therapy. I get everything out, all my fear and anger.”[1] She grew up in a difficult environment in Yonkers, New York, experiencing poverty and family issues from a young age. Through her music, she was able to courageously share these struggles and connect with others facing similar hardships.

This theme of music as an emotional release has continued throughout her career. In a 2021 Apple Music interview, Blige reflected “Every album is my therapy. It’s my healing. It’s like group therapy for me and my fans.”[2] Even through personal obstacles, she found the bravery to be vulnerable in her art and help others in the process. Facing fears through her creative outlet of music seemed to be a core part of Blige’s journey.

    Faith and an Inner Resilience

Beyond using music as an emotional release, Blige’s resilience in overcoming adversity also stems from her deep Christian faith, which she has cited as a key source of strength. After experiencing depression and turning to substance abuse in the late 1990s and early 2000s, she credits God and her spirituality for helping her find healing.[3]

Blige has said “My faith is what really, really, really, really, really got me through” tough times.[4] Even through a divorce and battling addiction, she maintained an optimism and didn’t let fear overcome her. Her ability to rise above difficulties suggests an inner resilience that faith helped cultivate.

This resilience is also evident through her music career path. Breaking into the male-dominated hip hop world as a young Black woman in the early 90s required courage. She had to believe in herself and push past fears of failure or backlash to follow her dreams. Over 30 years later, her status as the “Queen” stands as a testament to transforming challenges into triumphs through strength of spirit.

    Facing Challenges Head-On

Rather than avoiding fears, Blige’s career trajectory exemplifies directly confronting challenges. From a young age with big aspirations but little industry access, she courageously pursued opportunities. She performed at local talent shows and events, eventually catching the attention of Uptown Records.

In interviews, Blige has emphasized facing fears head-on. As she told Rolling Stone, “You’ve got to be brave, you’ve got to be courageous and not be afraid to fail. Not be afraid to try something and it not work out.”[5] She embraced risks that built her success instead of letting doubts hold her back.

This theme continued as she progressed her career. For her sophomore album My Life in 1994, Blige made the bold choice to address her personal struggles more openly than before. She confronted societal and internal fears to be completely vulnerable through her art.

More recently, Blige broke barriers again in 2021 by starring in and executive producing the film adaptation of The United States vs. Billie Holiday. In taking on the challenging role of the legendary jazz singer, she showed courage expanding into new creative mediums late in her career despite uncertainties.

Time and again, Blige’s career embodies bravery in directly facing challenges rather than succumbing to fear. She confronted obstacles head-on and transformed them into opportunities for growth.

    Finding Strength in Vulnerability

A hallmark of Blige’s signature style is her willingness to be emotionally raw and vulnerable. Through bearing her soul in lyrics addressing pain, heartbreak, addiction and more, she confronted societal fears of judgment while inspiring connection.

Vulnerability became a source of empowerment. In a 2021 interview, Blige reflected “My vulnerability is my superpower. It’s what connects me to my fans. It’s what makes me human.”[6] Rather than hiding her struggles, opening up about fears and difficulties strengthened her bond with listeners while normalizing discussions around mental health.

Others close to Blige also see vulnerability as a form of courage. Longtime collaborator and friend Diddy stated that through her honesty in music, “Mary was fearless. She didn’t care about the rules of the game. She just wanted to express herself and help people through her story.”[7]

By sharing challenges, Blige confronted stigmas and societal pressures while empowering listeners. Her willingness to be emotionally naked inspired many to also face their fears through openness. Vulnerability became a conduit for healing and a testament to Blige’s bravery.

    Conclusion

Over three decades in the spotlight, Mary J. Blige has exemplified resilience, faith and courage in continually confronting fears through her career and artistry. Whether using music as an emotional outlet, overcoming personal adversity through strength of spirit, directly facing challenges, or finding power in vulnerability, she has transformed obstacles into opportunities for growth.

While Blige hasn’t explicitly detailed a fear-conquering strategy, examining her journey reveals consistent themes of processing emotions, cultivating inner strength, embracing risks, and empowering openness. These insights provide a framework for how she approaches universal human experiences like fear through bravery, perseverance and community connection. Blige’s story serves as an inspiration for transforming fear into fuel for positive change.
