Breaking: Taylor Swift ENDS Friendship With Selena Gomez for Gigi Hadid “I END THIS HERE”

In the realm of Hollywood friendships, the bond between Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez has been a beacon of camaraderie for years. However, recent developments suggest a shift in this dynamic, hinting at the end of their once inseparable friendship. Reports swirling within celebrity circles speculate that Taylor Swift’s growing closeness to Gigi Hadid might be the catalyst behind this surprising turn of events.

Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez, two powerhouse names in the entertainment industry, have long been synonymous with friendship goals. Their public displays of support and shared experiences have endeared them to fans worldwide. Yet, the recent absence of joint appearances and social media interactions has raised eyebrows and fueled rumors of a potential rift.

The emergence of Gigi Hadid as a pivotal figure in Taylor Swift’s inner circle has not gone unnoticed by keen observers. Swift and Hadid’s frequent outings and public outings together have sparked speculation about the depth of their newfound friendship. While friendships evolve naturally over time, the sudden decline in Swift and Gomez’s public camaraderie suggests a more significant underlying shift.

While neither Swift nor Gomez has addressed the rumors directly, their social media activity, or lack thereof, speaks volumes. Fans accustomed to seeing the duo’s frequent exchanges and supportive messages now find their timelines conspicuously devoid of such interactions. This notable silence has only fueled speculation and added to the mystery surrounding the status of their friendship.

The implications of this alleged rift extend beyond celebrity gossip columns, resonating with fans who have long admired their bond. Swift and Gomez’s friendship transcended mere celebrity status, serving as a symbol of solidarity and mutual support. Its apparent demise serves as a reminder of the transient nature of relationships, even in the glitzy world of Hollywood.

As Taylor Swift continues to forge new connections and alliances within the industry, the fallout from her alleged rift with Selena Gomez underscores the complexities of maintaining friendships in the spotlight. While the true nature of their relationship remains known only to them, the public’s fascination with their bond persists. Whether this is truly the end of an era or merely a temporary hiatus remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: the world will be watching.

  • Top Takeaways from LeBron James, Lakers’ Loss vs. Pelicans

Top Takeaways from LeBron James, Lakers’ Loss vs. Pelicans

    Ashley Landis/Associated Press

The Los Angeles Lakers lost again on Friday night, dropping a pivotal game to the New Orleans Pelicans 111-114.

The return of LeBron James (ankle) and Anthony Davis (MCL, foot) was supposed to provide hope for an L.A. squad on the outside looking in. The Lakers gave the Pelicans everything they could handle, but they faded down the stretch—along with Los Angeles’ playoff hopes.

James was terrific, as he’s been all season, finishing with 38 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Davis dropped 23, 12 and six against his former team. However, the Lakers got relatively little from their supporting cast, which has been par for the course. Russell Westbrook had just 12 points in 31 minutes and was a dismal 5-of-15 shooting.

The Pelicans, meanwhile, got big performances from Brandon Ingram (29 points) and CJ McCollum (32 points) to outlast the Lakers. It was a back-and-forth game, but New Orleans outscored L.A. 28-24 in the final frame to clinch the victory.

Los Angeles has lost five straight and sits a game behind the San Antonio Spurs for the final play-in spot in the West. The reality is that even with their stars on the court, the Lakers aren’t good enough or deep enough to beat playoff-caliber teams consistently.

With five games left, Los Angeles needs help to reach the play-in tournament, and losing to the Pelicans—who hold the No. 9 seed in the West—was a massive blow. Here are some other key takeaways from the game.

Too Little, Too Late for the Lakers

    1 OF 2

    Ashley Landis/Associated Press

The big takeaway is this: Los Angeles lost a game that it needed to win. At 34-43, the Lakers have no margin for error, and they made too many mistakes against the Pelicans.

While James made an impact, he was just 13-of-23 from the floor—which is not good enough. Westbrook was largely invisible once again. The bench underwhelmed, and L.A.’s stars weren’t able to carry the team when it mattered most.

Up by five with just over five minutes remaining, the Lakers fell apart. James, Davis and Westbrook went a combined 0-for-8 from the field as New Orleans went on a 13-4 run to take control. Falling apart has been the story of the Lakers’ season.

“Just feels like you can’t catch a break,” James said, per ESPN’s Dave McMenamin. “No matter what’s going on on the floor, it just feels like the ball bounces the other way. The ball doesn’t always bounce in our favor. Or a call doesn’t go in our favor. It’s just like, when it rains, it pours for our year. It’s just the way it’s been going.”

Yes, Davis was playing for the first time since mid-February, and he and James need time to get back in sync. The problem is that the Lakers don’t have time. This was a must-win game, and Los Angeles squandered a prime opportunity.

The Lakers are a better team with James and Davis in the fold—that’s not a question—but at this point, it’s not enough. Had the pair been healthy a couple of weeks ago, or even a couple of games ago, this loss might not have hurt as much. But Los Angeles has lost eight of its last 10 and no longer controls its own destiny. Every loss stings.

Los Angeles Is Still Clinging on to Hope

    2 OF 2

While Los Angeles may not have time to get back into the play-in mix, the Lakers haven’t given up hope. Given everything that has transpired this season—the injuries, the failed Westbrook experiment, questions about coach Frank Vogel’s future—few would blame the Lakers for packing it in over the final few games.

That’s not what the Lakers intend to do.

“I think there is a lot of belief. We know what we’re playing for,” Davis said, per Broderick Turner of the Los Angeles Times. “We know the position that we’re in. We know we’re playing against some top teams. So, I think we have to believe.”

James is chasing a scoring title, of course, which would be remarkable for the 37-year-old. The rest of the Lakers are still fighting for an 83rd game. The final stretch won’t be easy, though.

Of Los Angeles’ final five games, only one—an April 8 matchup with the Oklahoma City Thunder—is against a squad not currently in the Western Conference playoff field. The Lakers need to steal a game or two and hope that San Antonio stumbles.

Things might not go the Lakers’ way—they rarely have this year—but we can expect Los Angeles to come out swinging each and every night.

And who knows? The Lakers are already playing elimination basketball, and if they find their rhythm over the next eight days, they could enter the play-in as a dangerous team that can make some noise. It’s probably not going to happen, but at least the Lakers believe.

Others chimed in too. “It’s very sad seeing people bu!!y her online because she’s no longer pleasing to their eyes anymore.” “The changes in Selena Gomez’s body is simply as a result of maturity…She is one of the realest and transparent celebrities out there who doesn’t fake a thing and shows it as it is.”

  • Celtics’ Kristaps Porziņģis making progress from calf strain, no timetable for return

Celtics’ Kristaps Porziņģis making progress from calf strain, no timetable for return

With a right soleus (calf) strain sustained in Game 4 of the Boston Celtics’ first-round series against the Miami Heat, Kristaps Porziņģis stated on Saturday that he is gradually healing but that he does not yet have a comeback date set.

Kristaps Porzingis sounds upbeat after avoiding serious injury | Yardbarker

There is, of course, no set date. It’s still pretty early,” Porziņģis said. “I believe it will become evident when I take on additional tasks. .. Not quite there yet. but anticipating a historically rapid recovery.

Porziņ~is stated that he may take some time to feel better before making a comeback.

It’s not nothing; it’s something. Thus, it will undoubtedly take some time,” he remarked. However, I’m making every effort to expedite the process because I want to get back out there as soon as possible. However, realizing that, the worst case scenario would be to likely exacerbate that. so exercising intelligence.

A Grade 1 soleus strain usually heals in one to two weeks, a Grade 2 takes two to three weeks, and a Grade 3—a full tear of the muscle—requires four to six weeks, according to Dr. Daniel Kharrazi, an orthopedic surgeon at the Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Institute in Los Angeles.

Who Steps Up Amid Kristaps Porzingis' Potential Celtics Absence?

“I believe Porziņģis has a grade 2 injury, and I would anticipate a two- to three-week recovery period,” Kharrazi stated. “I understand that Giannis Antetokounmpo had a Grade 2, and many reports said it’s similar to what he had.”

Porziņģis initially stated that he is approaching his rehabilitation aggressively and was taking things day by day, but he soon amended himself to say week by week. When the second round starts on April 29, he will have been injured for just over a week. He claimed that a number of things that happened quickly led to the damage.

“I stepped on Tyler Herro while trying to get a rebound, rolling my ankle in the process. returned; perhaps began to make up a little too much ground with the other side, or something; I’m not sure,” Porziņāis remarked. “I felt something as soon as I pushed off.”

Kharrazi stated, “I don’t think it’s coincidental.” He might have been jogging off-balance and failing to preserve the muscle because of certain gluteal and ankle problems. Such a change in mechanics may put you at risk for anything similar.

The first thing to think about when someone pulls up lame from a calf strain is if it’s an Achilles injury, which frequently necessitates surgery and a lengthy rehabilitation period.

Celtics' Porzingis leaves playoff game in Miami with right calf tightness

You witnessed my response on the court. I then became calm after learning the diagnosis, according to Porziņģis. “It appears to be less severe than I had previously believed. Yes, that is the reality. Nobody desires to suffer harm. However, it’s at least not as horrible as it could have been.

Kharrazi states that while a soleus injury may seem serious at first, recovery is usually quite simple.

The muscle on the outside of the leg is known as the gastrocnemius, and this is where most calf strains occur. A gastroc medial head damage occurs 90% of the time when a leg is hurt by a calf strain, according to Kharrazi. Compared to the gastroc, the soleus muscle is substantially deeper. The soleus has an excellent blood supply and is very vascular, which is good news. Even though there may be a little bit more force involved in the injury with deeper strains, healing time is not overly long. Thus, the timeline should typically be two to three weeks.

After suffering a strain to his soleus muscle against the Boston Celtics on April 9, Antetokounmpo was sidelined for three weeks and was not expected to play in the playoffs when the Milwaukee Bucks played Game 6 on Thursday. He informed the media on Friday that his return will likely take several weeks.

According to Eric Nehm of The Athletic, Antetokounmpo stated, “That was the first time I was able to jog on my body weight since April 9 on the day of Game 4 in Indiana.” I believe I did my best to support my comrades by returning. Seeing them out there with no one to aid them is kind of depressing. But I was unable to.

Porziņģis stated that he had not yet begun running. Kharrazi states that it is typically necessary for an athlete recuperating from a Grade 2 strain to wait at least a week before starting to jog.

“I’m not yet on the ground. However, I hope to start doing things very soon,” he stated. “I’m still working out in the weight room, moving slowly and building up.” I would say that there is a lot of development made every day—it’s still very new—but it feels nice.

Following the injury and in order to reduce inflammation, Porziņģis and the training team have been concentrating on introducing mobility “without stressing it too much.”

He stated, “I expect Monday to be pretty good and go from there. Every day is a pretty big jump every day.”

Porziņģis has already experienced a calf strain this season; on November 24, he hurt his left calf against Orlando and had to miss the following four games.

“This one is more powerful. Worse, indeed, he remarked. It’s definitely a little bit worse, even though I didn’t want to use that word. Indeed, it will simply require a little more time. yet maintaining an optimistic outlook.

Throughout the regular season—which saw the Celtics go 21–4—PorziņĖis missed 25 games. But since this is his first opportunity to participate in the postseason after the first round of the league, it will probably be the first time he misses more than ten days in a row, which is frustrating for him.

Hard, harsh, hard. It’s difficult, I won’t lie,” remarked Porziņċis. “The first few moments were quite difficult. You feel depressed for a brief while. That’s just the way things are. It is a natural occurrence in the sport.

Kristaps Porzingis' Potential Injury Return Date Revealed - Last Word On Basketball

It will be more than a week after Porziņěis’s injury when the Celtics play Cleveland or Orlando in the opening round of the playoffs. He will probably miss the first several games of the upcoming series, if not the entire one, for the Celtics. Al Horford, who is 37 years old and still playing at a high level, may come under more scrutiny because of his absence.

Horford played 128 minutes in the first round, and the Celtics outscored the Heat by 50 points. This season, the team has not suffered much, if at all, from his spot starts. In the first unit, they had a 26-7 record with him.

Celtics' Kristaps Porzingis Gets Encouraging Injury Update After Game 4 Exit

One possible issue is that Horford will have to bear a heavier load due to PorziņĢis’s injury, which could result in significant mileage on his seasoned legs. It will be intriguing to see how coach Joe Mazzulla tackles Horford’s playing time while Porziņģis is sidelined.

Guests at the star-studded dinner, which took place at The Nines, were treated to wine from Curry’s personal collection and cocktails featuring Cincoro tequila.

For dinner, the NBA champs dined on crudités, twice-baked potatoes with caviar, shrimp cocktail, Gnudi, burgers, and chocolate mousse.

Former NFL players Victor Cruz and Justin Tuck also dropped by. Later in the evening, Tuck, 39, and former Yankees star CC Sabathia were “deep in conversation about business,” according to an attendee who caught the retired athletes mingling.

NBA fans have been speculating about the possibility of Durant returning to Golden State after Curry’s September interview with Rolling Stone.

Curry told the magazine, “If you said, ‘Oh, KD’s coming back, and we’re gonna play with him…I’d be like, Hell, yeah!’”

The Golden State Warriors star’s brother, Seth Curry — who is currently Durant’s Brooklyn Nets teammate — also stopped by to celebrate the upcoming holidays.

Kleiman, 46, toasted with the group to “connectivity and bringing people together,” as he and Durant prepare for a busy 2023 with Boardroom and other ventures.

Most recently, the duo announced their investment into a Major League Pickleball expansion team, the Brooklyn Aces. Durant and Kleiman join athletes like LeBron James and Tom Brady, who have also taken claim in the league.

Durant’s team is set to begin competing in the 2023 MLP season. “Major League Pickleball is a league we are incredibly excited about,” Kleiman, a self-described “avid pickleball player, and fan,” said in a press release.

Kleiman said he and Durant’s 35V is “committed to investing in the future of sports and emerging opportunities.” The creative partners “can’t wait to build this team from the ground up.”
