NBA superstars Stephen Curry and LeBron James will team up for the 2024 Summer Olympics, starring in one of the most talented rosters the United States has ever seen. Curry and James will also be joined by players like Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, Anthony Edwards, and Anthony Davis.

Curry recently spoke about having James, the Los Angeles Lakers star, side by side for the first time in his career.

“Everybody just talked about his ability to lift those around him… I heard he’s like a light-hearted type of guy. Always wants to have fun… Maybe we’ll get that, not in the NBA, but maybe on a team USA-type vibe,” said Curry via ClutchPoints.

James has history in international play, holding two Olympic gold medals and one Olympic bronze during his illustrious career. The 2024 Summer Games will be the first Olympics Curry will partake in. He’s played with FIBA national teams during his career but has never competed in this worldwide event.

The two stars have played against each other for years. They went head-to-head in four NBA Finals matchups with the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers. Curry leads the Finals series against James with a 3-1 record.

It’s going to be incredible for fans to witness two of the greatest of all time take the floor together. Curry seems intrigued by what to expect as James’ teammate. He explained that he heard some stories, but the ten-time All-Star will have to wait and find out about James’ “vibe.”
