Chris Brown was charged with felony assault and making criminal threats after an argument turned violent when he physically assaulted then-girlfriend Rihanna in Los Angeles on Feb. 8, 2009.

But the 30-year-old singer seemed to be forgetting the past as he posted a slew of thirsty comments on her latest lingerie post for Savage X Fenty.

Rihanna, 31, looked absolutely stunning wearing a black lace matching set while promoting her brand’s launch on Amazon, only for Chris to ruin the fun with suggestive messages to his ex.

The Barbados-born beauty flaunted her famous figure with sultry photos shared to her millions of Instagram fans.

Chris jumped at the chance to chat with his ex and proceeded to flood her feed with comments.

He first posted a shocked emoji face before writing: ‘I wanna be the lamp.’

Brown ended the public display of desperation with a sly-faced emoji.

It’s definitely not a first for Chris as he has previously flooded his exes photos with compliments.

When the beauty mogul shared a sexy image wearing just a pair of red underwear for the holiday season, Chris made it known he was watching.

Chris pleaded not guilty in April 2009 to one count of assault and one count of making criminal threats stemming from the Feb. 8 incident where Rihanna required hospitalization due to visible face injuries.

He later pleaded guilty to a felony after accepting a plea on June 22, 2009 and received five years of probation in addition to community service and domestic violence counseling.

In a video to fans, Chris accepted ‘full responsibility’ for the incident and pleaded for forgiveness from his ‘deepest regret.’

Despite the physical altercations, Chris and Rihanna somehow maintained a friendship and he even broke things off with model girlfriend Karrueche Tran in 2012 to pursue a new relationship with the Umbrella songstress.

Their newfound love didn’t last too long as they reportedly ended things for good in May 2013 and she has since moved on with Saudi businessman Hassan Jameel.

Chris will soon become a father again as TMZ reported ex-girlfriend Ammika Harris is pregnant with her first child and expecting a baby boy; he has five-year-old daughter Royalty with Nia Guzman.
