Kim celebrated her friendship group while she celebrated her 43rd birthday, which was documented on her Hulu show.

In a confessional, she divulged that she feels very grateful to be surrounded by them.

“This week in particular has been complete chaos, but honestly, I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for my friends,” she said.

“Like I have the best friends and they’re super supportive. I think that’s probably why I’ve never seen a therapist, is because I have the best friends in the entire world and they mean everything to me.”

“It makes me feel so good that everyone wanted to come out and celebrate and have dinner with us,” she continued.

“So tonight, I just want to celebrate with my girls, and I think all of us just need that sometimes.”

Kim introduced her friends with the scene cutting to show them all dressed up for Kim’s birthday.

“My friend circle, I always say I hit the jackpot in the friends department. Spending my 43rd birthday with all the girls that inspire me and motivate me is just really special.”

Kim listed her friends, which included Allison Statter, Simone Harouche, Sarah Meyer Michaelson, Lindsay May, Zoe Winkler Reinis, and Ashley Kassan.

Despite Kim’s well intentions, fans thought her comments about not getting therapy were a bit tone-death.

Several followers took to social media to express their disappointment.

“Your friends are not therapists,” wrote on user on X, formerly Twitter.

“This idea that supportive friends are substitutes for therapy should end. This is a harmful narrative and not reality,” another added.

“Your friends should not be your therapists and vice versa. what she’s saying is very harmful,” they concluded.

“Girl get that therapist,” said a third.

“This is such a weird and damaging take,” noted a fourth.

This was not the first time Kim was called out online for one of her comments, with several people accusing her of being tiresome after she said she’d be robbed in Beverley Hills.

Kim joined veteran actress Chloë Sevigny for an interview for the latest cover story of Variety’s Actors on Actors series.

The two women discussed their acting roles.

Kim is set to appear in an untitled legal drama from American Horror Story’s Ryan Murphy (Chloë was in Season 2 of the anthology series).

During the sit-down, Kim instead brought up watching the film Troop Beverly Hills with her mother Kris Jenner for the first time.

“Yesterday I was absolutely blown away, stopped in my tracks, couldn’t believe it, emergency family meeting at the movies – my mom had never seen Troop Beverly Hills,” Kim said.

“And we watched it, and she was crying over the fashion and all these stores that don’t exist anymore.

“And we were like, ‘Oh, we can never drive down in a Rolls-Royce in Beverly Hills these days. All the shopping bags out? You’d get robbed.’

“It was such a different time. So I love nostalgic movies,” Kim closed.

Chloë – who struck fame in the ’90s New York City indie flick Kids – could be seen awkwardly forcing a chuckle.

Critics flocked to social media where they discussed Kim’s response.

“Vapid to the core,” one fan replied under Variety’s clip.

“Rich Girl Problems,” wrote another.
