Cardi B teased that an announcement about her highly anticipated new album is coming soon.
The Grammy-winning rapper has been working on the follow-up to her 2018 debut album “Invasion of Privacy” for several years now, and fans have been eagerly awaiting updates. Cardi B didn’t provide an exact timeline but expressed that the album announcement is imminent.
“The announcement is coming real soon,” she told interviewers. “I don’t have an exact date, but it’s coming soon. I’m just waiting for things to be perfect, you know.” The new album will be Cardi’s first major release since 2020’s chart-topping single “WAP” with Megan Thee Stallion.
She’s been teasing snippets of new music on social media, further fueling fan anticipation.
“I really, really, really love this project,” Cardi said. “I put a lot of hard work and thought into it. I want it to be perfect for my fans.”
While an official release date has not been announced, Cardi B’s comments suggest her legion of devoted “Bardi Gang” followers won’t have to wait much longer.
The new album is expected to continue Cardi’s trend of blending hip-hop, R&B, and pop sounds that have made her one of the biggest stars in music today.
Fans are eagerly counting down the days until Cardi B’s big album announcement.
