Las Vegas Raiders star defensive end Maxx Crosby has been known for his brashness and ability to say whatever he is thinking without being afraid. He is confident in himself and doesn’t hesitate to stamp expectations on himself along with putting himself next to some all-time greats.

Crosby went on The Jim Rome Show and talked about his future, his goals, and what his plans are. He clearly stated he wants to stay with the Raiders for his entire career, but his explanation as to why brought in the names of Michael Jordan and LeBron James.

“The guys who inspire me are the Kobes (Bryant) and the (Michael) Jordans; the guys that stayed at the same place and won in the same place. No offense to the guys like LeBron and those dudes, I won’t give them some heat, but they took the easier road traveled and that’s not the way I look at it,” Crosby said.

Crosby is entering his sixth season with the team and has played every game of his career so far. He has totaled 321 total tackles and been a pass-rushing specialist getting home for 52 sacks.

The three-time Pro Bowler signed a huge deal in 2022 that was worth $94 million over four years with $53 million guaranteed. With his contract entering its final two years, Crosby has made it clear he wants to call Las Vegas as his home for the remainder of his time in the NFL.

“So, I plan on being here for a very long time and I plan on winning here. You know when I signed that contract, I didn’t have any type of, you know, thought of leaving or idea of leaving. I feel like I’m going to be a Raider for life,” Crosby added.
