Game recognizes game.

Earlier this month, WNBA superstar A’ja Wilson became the first player in history to record at least 35 points, 10 rebounds and five steals in a single game — dropping 36 points, 12 rebounds and six steals in a win over the Dallas Wings.

NBA superstar LeBron James took to social media with a simple response to this historic stat line.

“THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!” James wrote on X.

Wilson is putting up MVP-caliber numbers yet again in the 2024 WNBA season. So far this year, the Las Vegas Aces center is leading the league in both points (28.0) and rebounds (11.5) per game. She’s also second in the league with 2.5 blocks per game.

After a strong start to the season, the reigning-champion Aces have stumbled over the last few games.

Wilson broke down in tears following Vegas’ most recent loss to the New York Liberty.

“I put myself out there in the front… It’s hard, it’s really, really hard, and I don’t even know why I’m crying. But, I love my teammates so much that I will take any hit for them. Good, bad, ugly, I’m going to go out there and I’m going to try to be the best person. I want to be the best teammate, cause that’s how I get the best out of my team,” she said in her postgame press conference.

The Aces are 6-6 heading into Wednesday night’s matchup against the Seattle Storm.
