Shaquille O’Neal has a new car. The NBA legend bought a Cybertruck worth close to $100,000 from the dealership that LeBron James called out for their fake marketing scheme, which went viral.

The dealership, Effortless Motors, had posted that James bought a Bugatti supercar from them, which the Lakers star disputed on social media.

“Stop the 🧢!! LIARS!! I don’t know y’all and I don’t even have that car. CLOUT CHASERS,” James posted on his Instagram story.

The dealership’s owner explained to Shaq what happened with the marketing scheme involving James. According to him, they hired an intern to handle their marketing. This led to the intern posting a picture of a Bugatti with a statement saying that James bought the vehicle from them.

The owner confirmed that the post about James was taken down and he also apologized for it.

But as it turns out, that whole incident has worked in Effortless Motors’ favor, as Shaq found out about it after the James post went viral.

“Guess what? Killer intern, he did a great job,” O’Neal said. “I saw that and I called you. I was checking, ‘I saw some cars you have.’ Cause I was like, ‘S**t, if Bron could fit in that motherf***er, maybe he got something for me.'”

Shaq got in touch with the owner of the dealership and asked about the other vehicles they had. According to the former LA Lakers star, the Cyberbeast variant was the one that caught his eye and they talked about a deal.

The Cyberbeast is the most expensive Cybertruck variant — it’s priced at $96,390 on Tesla’s website — and it has a top speed of 130 MPH with 845 horsepower.
