When they removed their masks and matching black tank tops to reveal their identities, presenter Pat McAfee announced, “Welcome to Wrestlemania, Philadelphia Eagles.” Another announcer quickly referenced Swift, 34, saying, “Isn’t that whatshername’s brother-in-law?”
The 36-year-old “Pat McAfee Show” presenter then belted out her popular song “22” before explaining, “Is that who you are talking about?”. Jason in his response does not mind being called Taylor Swift’s brother-in-law, but he insisted that he he respects the privacy of his brother’s relationship with the billionaire singer.
Jason said “Travis and Taylor have an amazing relationship and I respect their privacy, all they need is our continuous love and support”. Travis Kelce, Jason’s younger brother, started dating the “Love Story” singer last summer, and the two have been making sports headlines ever since.
Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce, recently spoke out about Travis’ friendship with the pop singer, revealing that their family was not used to being under such great scrutiny.
“That’s intriguing. I’m trying to take it in stride and make sure that when people talk about me, it’s about something meaningful,” she said on “Today” last week, referring to the Eagles Foundation charity.
Kylie and Jason spent a lot of time with the Grammy winner during the 2023 NFL season, which concluded in February with Travis’ third Super Bowl victory and Jason’s dramatic retirement announcement. “Ultimately, if Travis is happy, we’re happy,” Kylie, 32, added.
The mother of three, who has kids Wyatt, 4, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, 1, with the future Hall of Fame center, stated that she and her family are “always cheering on Uncle Trav.”
“It’s such a treat to be able to do that on and off the field, but it’s been amazing,” she said when asked about seeing Swift’s romance with her brother-in-law, 34, “close up.”
Swift and Travis were most recently sighted in the Bahamas, enjoying the NFL offseason and the singer’s break from her record-breaking Eras tour.
