The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Golden State Warriors 145-144 on Saturday night because to a triple-double from LeBron James, who finished with two free throws with 1.2 seconds remaining in the second overtime period. James also had 20 rebounds, 12 assists, and outscored Stephen Curry.
With 4.7 seconds remaining in the second overtime, Curry made the game-winning 3-pointer. He then made another one over Anthony Davis with 1:22 remaining to finish with 46 points and a season-high nine 3-pointers.
With 53 seconds remaining in the second overtime, D’Angelo Russell made a long-range jump shot. Earlier in the quarter, he made another one after clutching late in the regulation on route to 28 points.
James got his third triple-double of the year and 110th of his career with 12 points in the two overtime periods. Along with 13 rebounds, Davis scored 29 points.
