Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James made his podcast co-host JJ Redick feel very awkward when he got into a personal issue with his wife Savannah James while live on their show.

Savannah makes LeBron jealous

The annoyance on LeBron’s face was clear as Savannah micromanaged his look at the beginning of their latest episode. She adjusted his hat several times while he rolled his eyes and looked at Redick like, Is she really doing this?

“We’re recording,” he reminded his wife, while Redick shook his head.

“Well I made the pod!” she joked, noting it was her first appearance on Mind the Game. “I’m trying to help you!”

“You haven’t put me on your pod yet,” he snapped back with a subtle twinge of resentment.

For years, LeBron and Savannah have remained one of the strongest couples in pro sports, but that hasn’t stopped them from falling victim to the high demands of any relationship, let alone one so public.

A podcasting family

Both of the Jameses recently got into the podcasting game. LeBron and former NBA player JJ Redick debuted their groundbreaking basketball podcast on March 18. Since then, the Lakers season ended and Redick became one of the top candidates to become LeBron’s next coach, adding a unique dynamic to their already-engaging show.

Savannah followed shortly after with the first episode of Everybody’s Crazy, a call-in advice show co-hosted by her friend April McDaniel, on April 30.

LeBron has been very supportive of the show on his social media, but his son Bryce James beat him out as the first member of the family to appear on the show, pulling a memorable prank call on his mom. Clearly, LeBron isn’t over it.
