Savannah James, the wife of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, has been making a name for herself outside of her husband’s shadow. Over the past few years, she has been busy building her own identity through various endeavors, including launching businesses, engaging in philanthropy, and starting her own podcast. Most recently, she added another accomplishment to her list by launching a women’s empowerment initiative called ‘Let it Break’.

In an interview with ‘Harper’s Bazaar’, Savannah explained that ‘Let it Break’ aims to help women “become the best versions of themselves” by focusing on their physical, spiritual, and mental development. The initiative provides educational programming, resources, and tools to help women improve their relationship-building skills.

Savannah emphasized the importance of mental health in her own life, stating: “I have to have it. If I’m working from a glass half empty, I’m not good to anybody.” She also encourages women to prioritize themselves and take time for self-care. “We are maestros, we do a lot, and we need it sometimes,” she added.

Savannah’s personal experiences have shaped her advice to women. As the wife of a basketball legend and a mother to three children, she understands the importance of taking time for oneself. She shared: “I have learned that it’s okay to be selfish in a positive way. It’s important for women to take occasional time out to breathe, focus on themselves, and not feel guilty about it.”

Furthermore, Savannah has been open about her own journey of self-discovery, using therapy and physical well-being as tools to “find out more” about herself. She encourages others to follow suit and prioritize their own well-being.

Savannah’s message is clear: women should not feel guilty about taking time for themselves. Her initiative, ‘Let it Break’, is a testament to her commitment to empowering women to prioritize their own growth and well-being. As she continues to carve out her own path separate from her husband’s basketball career, Savannah is making a meaningful impact by advocating for self-care and personal development among women.
