The Los Angeles Lakers have been in search of a big man ever since Anthony Davis went down. The Lakers needed a big man then: now, they need some sort of the addition to the roster to keep them afloat, given the fact that LeBron James has been injured as well. The Los Angeles Lakers will be fine in the playoffs: they just need to make it through the regular season without dropping too far in the standings.
Either player would be a good fit on the Los Angeles Lakers: they would mesh well with a generational passer like LeBron James who can set up his teammates with pinpoint precision. Drummond would be a threat near the rim, while Aldridge would provide some similar inside scoring, while also being able to space the floor. Aldridge could also fit well in Miami, and provide some spacing around two non-shooting stars in Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo. Aldridge and Drummond are clearly coveted around the league: the Brooklyn Nets being in the hunt for both is interesting, considering they just signed a big man in Blake Griffin.
Andre Drummond and LaMarcus Aldridge will definitely be useful on a contender: it remains to be seen which. If either do pick to move to the Los Angeles Lakers, then it would give them an amazing chance at winning the championship.
