It’s official! Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have finally revealed the name of their son, born in May 2022. The little one goes by RZA Athelston Mayers, according to a birth certificate obtained by the Daily Mail.

The name RZA is a clear tribute to the legendary rapper and Wu-Tang Clan leader of the same name. Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are known fans of the influential rap group, and fans speculated for months about the baby’s name after Rihanna sported clothing referencing the Wu-Tang Clan.
Double the Meaning
RZA isn’t the only name with significance. His middle name, Athelston, is a nod to his father, A$AP Rocky, whose full name is Rakim Athelston Mayers, as reported by Entertainment Tonight.
