We’re always curious about what celebrities use, from the clothes they wear to the products featured in their GRWM routines. Naturally, their signature scent is something we cannot leave out.

So if you’ve ever wondered what your favourite singer, actor or idol smells like, wonder no more.

Spotted in a clip from Taylor Swift’s Miss Americana documentary on Netflix, the bottle of Tom Ford Santal Blush was part of the singer’s essentials during her 2018 Reputation tour. Plus, fans who attended Swift’s Reputation secret sessions (informal listening sessions for a select group of fans before the album release) and meet-and-greets have also supported this.

With its woodsy and earthy notes of ylang-ylang, sandalwood and spices, it is the perfect fragrance to embrace the woman that Swift has become – that sensual woman on the cover of the recently released The Tortured Poets Department album.

2. W DRESSROOM NO 97 APRIL COTTON, from S$6.54

While it’s been said that the BTS maknae (youngest in Korean) is not a huge fan of fragrances, his preference would be for clean, soapy scents, like the W Dressroom No 97 April Cotton. The 3D singer received this during the group’s Secret Santa exchange in 2016 from fellow member, V, and he knew it was meant to be as it had the number “97” on the label – Jungkook’s birth year.

A fresh, citrusy and cotton-like scent thanks to notes of lime, bergamot, pear, rose, violet, lily of the valley, musk, amber and honey, it makes for a light and easy-to-wear fragrance. And its wallet-friendly prices are perfect for ARMYs who love a liberal spritz.

Rihanna apparently smells really good. Just ask Jennifer Lawrence, Big Bang Theory’s Jim Parsons, Nick Jonas and Lil Nas X (The rapper even commented that the Diamonds singer smells like heaven). A fresh woody scent with notes of bay leaves and cedarwood along with a touch of blackberry, it is an ideal everyday scent. In fact, the group’s leader said that she doesn’t even bother transferring it into a smaller atomiser, preferring to bring the full-sized bottle in her bag wherever she goes

The Rhode Skin founder revealed her love for the fragrance, Ex Nihilo Fleur Narcotique, in an interview. She explained that while she likes playing around with scents, the one that she keeps going back to is this sophisticated and seductive scent of bergamot, lychee, peach, jasmine, peony, orange blossom, transparent woods, moss and musk.

Though Red Velvet Joy would rather gatekeep this find, she still chose to disclose her personal perfume choices – SW19 6am and 3pm, to her fans.

The fragrances take inspiration from scenes seen during the different times of the day – 6am is crisp and clean, akin to the morning dew on the grass, infused with notes of bergamot, grapefruit, cardamom, clary sage, basil, cedarwood and musk, while 3pm is lush and fruity with rhubarb, tangerine lotus, jasmine, gardenia, white musk, vetiver and orris. And yes, the singer-actress does wear them according to their respective times – 6am in the morning and 3pm after midday.

British singer Niall Horan has openly shared his love for the fragrance while Killing Eve actress Jodie Comer admitted that she loved the smell of it on someone she worked with that she decided to make it her own, and Seventeen’s Mingyu revealed to a fan that he wears this at times too.

A unique fragrance, the Diptyque Eau des Sens brings together different dimensions of the bitter orange tree, from the branches and leaves to the fruit. But instead of the Eau de Toilette version, IU keeps the Hair Mist option stashed in her bag. The singer-actress even recommended using it as a fragrance alternative by spritzing it onto your skin on her YouTube channel.

Fun fact: The cult fragrance was actually created to celebrate Baccarat’s 250th anniversary in 2014 as a limited edition with only 250 bottles, but has since found a permanent spot in the brand.
