On the field, wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr. is a three-time Super Bowl champion and off the field, he’s a loving dad.
Hardman Jr. welcomed his son, Mecole Hardman III, with girlfriend Chariah Gordon in February 2023. Gordon went into labor during Super Bowl LVII and Hardman Jr. watched the Kansas City Chiefs take home the Vince Lombardi trophy from the hospital.
“Welcoming our healthy baby boy together in this world while watching the Chiefs win the Super Bowl!! Could not be any Happier!” Hardman Jr. wrote via Instagram alongside a picture of him and Gordon holding their newborn. “A father and now a 2x Super Bowl Champ! Thanks to everyone for the prayers and support ❤️🥂⭐️🎈.”
One year later, the Chiefs returned to the Super Bowl and Hardman Jr. was not only on the field — he caught the winning pass in the overtime as the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers 25-22.

Two months after welcoming their little one, Gordon shared a sweet family photo of the trio from their new home.
“Living in multiple answered prayer’s ❤️,” she wrote via Instagram. “Just closed on our new penthouse!”

Hardman Jr. celebrated his first Father’s Day with Gordon and Mecole III.
“My first Father’s Day, damn words can’t describe how it feels to be a father and have your own you can raise!” he gushed via Instagram. “My girl made it a very special one for me even bringing tears to my eyes with the photo of me, my son and my Aunt T. I wish my Aunt T was here to see my son but I know she watching over us closely! This has been an amazing day so far! To all the fathers! Happy Father’s Day 🙏🏾🤞🏾.”

Hardman Jr. briefly joined the New York Jets for the 2023 season before being traded back to the Chiefs later that year. The athlete brought his little one to practice and the duo were all smiles on the field.

Gordon shared a sweet pic of Hardman Jr. and their little one as they celebrated his first half birthday.
