Justin Bieber left fans concerned after posting crying selfies on social media, but the tears turned out to be tears of joy. The pop superstar and his wife, Hailey Bieber, have announced that they are expecting their first child. This joyous news comes after the couple navigated a challenging period in their relationship, emerging stronger and happier than ever.

“They’ve been through a lot, and recently endured a serious rough patch, but they came out the other side and are now happier than they’ve ever been,” shared an insider.

On May 6, speculation about Hailey’s pregnancy began when she was absent from the Met Gala. She later confirmed the news by sharing a video of herself and Justin renewing their vows, showcasing her baby bump in a heartwarming post on May 9.

A source close to the couple revealed that Justin and Hailey have already chosen a name for their baby and are in the process of decorating a nursery. “They have a name that they think is perfect. They’re also starting to decorate a nursery. They can’t wait to meet the baby,” the insider said.

“Everyone is excited for them. They will be great parents, and Justin will be super involved. This will be the next important project for him. He’s so excited to raise his baby,” the source added, reflecting on the couple’s excitement about expanding their family. “They feel so blessed.”

From the moment they found out, Justin and Hailey have felt very protective of their baby. The insider shared that the couple informed their family and close friends early on but chose to keep the news private for as long as possible to enjoy the moment before making a public announcement.

Hailey has been open about her desire to become a mother, expressing in a 2022 interview that she and Justin ideally wanted to start a family within the next couple of years. “But there’s a reason they call it try, right? You don’t know how long that process is ever going to take,” she shared.

Justin has also spoken about his dreams of fatherhood and the importance of focusing on his mental health and family. During his hiatus from music, he addressed these priorities in an emotional message shared on Instagram in 2019. “I am now very focused on repairing some of the deep-rooted issues that I have as most of us have, so that I don’t fall apart, so that I can sustain my marriage and be the father I want to be,” Justin wrote. “Music is very important to me but nothing comes before my family and my health.”
