Kansas City Chiefs heiress Ava Hunt posed with her billionaire dad, Clark Hunt, as she celebrated signing with Southern Methodist University’s cheer team.

The high school senior and social media star, 17, has long been open about how she hopes to one day cheer in the NFL for her father’s football team – and now, she’s one step closer to completing the goal.

She announced via Instagram on Sunday that she had officially committed to SMU’s cheer squad for the fall, something that left her parents extremely ‘proud.’

‘It’s official! So beyond thankful for the opportunity to keep doing what I love,’ gushed the teen as she shared a carousel of images from the moment she signed her contract with the school.

One snapshot captured her beaming with delight as she poised her pen to the paper to sign her name, her grin stretching from ear to ear. In another, she sat alongside her new coaches, her parents proudly standing behind her, offering unwavering support.

A third image depicted her standing confidently with her mom and dad, all three flashing smiles toward the camera.

Ava’s mother, former beauty queen Tavia Hunt, took to her own social media account to express the immense pride she and her husband felt for their daughter’s achievement.

“Congratulations @AvaHunt on committing to cheer at SMU,” she wrote. “Your hard work, dedication, and God-given abilities have led you to this incredible opportunity. We are bursting with pride for you and thankful to God for guiding you on this journey. Your infectious joy is inspiring, and we eagerly anticipate watching you shine brightly at the next level.”

Tavia, aged 52, also extended gratitude to Ava’s coaches for their dedication to her daughter over the years.

“To Ava’s coaches: thank you for pouring into her for years,” she added. “Your exemplary leadership, love, and mentorship have deeply impacted all of us, and what you do truly matters.”

Ava’s father, Clark, aged 59, holds the positions of owner, chairman, and CEO of the Kansas City Chiefs, while her mother, Tavia, was crowned Miss Kansas USA in 1993. The illustrious family boasts an estimated net worth of $24.8 billion, according to Forbes.

Ava has recently garnered significant attention online for showcasing her extravagant lifestyle, undoubtedly benefiting from her association with a prominent sports figure, and she doesn’t hesitate to flaunt it.

Her social media feeds are filled with glimpses of her globe-trotting adventures to luxurious destinations, indulging in stays at five-star resorts, jet-setting on private planes, dining at exclusive restaurants, and attending elite sporting events, always receiving VIP treatment.

While Ava has followed in her mother and big sister’s footsteps and entered the world of pageantry – she competed in the Texas Outstanding Teen pageant back in 2021 – it seems her main passion is cheerleading.

Back in 2020, she came in first place at the cheerleading State Championships. And last year, she was picked as her school’s varsity cheer captain.

And the teen, who is set to graduate from high school in May, hopes to represent the Chiefs when she’s older.

Back in 2021, she shared a snap of herself jumping in the air at the Chiefs cheerleader auditions, which she captioned, ‘I didn’t actually audition for Chiefs cheer… But maybe one day!’
