Taylor Swift has had to ensure she is clued up on all things football since she started dating Travis Kelce. According to the father of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Swift has been doing her research behind the scenes.

The Cruel Summer singer is now a regular presence at Arrowhead Stadium after she became official with Chiefs tight end Kelce in September.

Swift is often seen mixing socially with the likes of Brittany Mahomes, the wife of the NFL star, and apparently has even met the 28-year-old’s father too.

Mahomes‘ father, former MLB pitcher Pat Mahomes, recently opened up on his experience meeting the 12-time Grammy Award winner.

And in doing so, he revealed how Swift, 34, sat through an NFL documentary series ‘Quarterback’, which may have surprised her beau Kelce.

“She’s down to earth. I actually walked up and introduced myself to her, and she said she knew who I was because she had watched the ‘Quarterback’ series,” Mahomes Sr said.

“You know, down to earth, she took a picture with me and my wife, and also took a picture with me and my daughter.

“She was genuine and every time I hung out with her, she acted like a normal person.”

Swift and Kelce have been inseparable since they got together four months ago and reports of an argument between the couple over the festive period seemed to be wide of the mark.

Based on their public display on Saturday, the pair are still very much smitten with each other after Swift watched the frigid 26-7 victory over the Miami Dolphins.

Despite temperatures dropping way below freezing, the 34-year-old was happy to dance along with Kelce‘s mom Donna and other fans in the wild-card playoffs fixture.

After the game, Swift and Kelce were spotted leaving Arrowhead by each other’s side. Their whirlwind romance has left many speculating when Kelce might decide to propose, although he is in no rush to put a ring on her finger before Valentine’s Day.
