The Kansas City Chiefs have wrapped their first day of mandatory minicamp.
Several players spoke with the media following one of three required offseason practices.
Tight end Travis Kelce, running back Isiah Pacheco and linebacker Drue Tranquill all appeared at the podium on Tuesday.

TE Travis Kelce’s full press conference
Kelce again took questions about when he might retire.

While the 34-year-old confirmed he was closer to the end of his career than the beginning, he insisted that he still plans to play “until the wheels fall off.”
“I’m still a little kid when I come into this building,” Kelce told reporters on Tuesday.
The tight end politely declined to take questions about his significant other, popstar Taylor Swift.
Kelce did discuss the Chiefs’ hopes of becoming the first team in the NFL to win three Super Bowls in a row. He feels the team will need to avoid looking too far down the road if they want to make it back atop the football mountaintop.
RB Isiah Pacheco’s full press conference
Kansas City’s star running back echoed Kelce’s comments about picking up a third-straight title. Pacheco says that a three-peat is ‘the goal’ but that the team can’t achieve it by thinking about anything other than the present.
The running back also said that after dealing with an injury last offseason, he came back to the team this year leaner and in better shape.
The depth behind Pacheco and Clyde Edwards-Helaire at the running back position is currently unclear. The starter says he’s been impressed by all of the young players that the team has brought in. He stopped short of declaring a front-runner for the team’s final spot on the depth chart.
LB Drue Tranquill’s full press conference
Linebacker Drue Tranquill spoke on his growing love for Kansas City and his excitement in remaining with the Chiefs after inking a three-year extension with the team.
While previous work this offseason at the team facility was voluntary, skipping mandatory minicamp is a finable offense. Players with unexcused absences are subject to thousands of dollars worth of fines for each day they miss.
The most significant question mark for the team that will likely linger into training camp this July is who will play left tackle. Last year’s starter Donovan Smith remains unsigned and available if second-year tackle Wanya Morris and rookie Kinglsey Suamataia cannot rise to the occasion.
