Chris Jones revealed he doesn’t plan on retiring until his long-time teammate, Travis Kelce, is also prepared to hang up his boots.

The Chiefs defensive tackle inked a new five-year deal with Kansas City in March, and seemed to indicate he plans to see the contract through while talking to reporters on Wednesday.

‘Once you begin to think about things like that, you’re getting to feed the mind those types of thoughts,’ Jones said, per ESPN.

‘I don’t even want my mind to even go that far to the R word,’ he went on, before addressing retirement rumors surrounding Kelce.

‘He’s got like four or five more years and what is he talking about, right?’ Jones said.
