Taylor Swift lookalike had finally spoke out after Swifties thought they proved the pop megastar was a ‘time traveler.’

Back in November fans had thought they had seen the top act in music in an unearthed commercial which aired eight years before she was born.

Swifties  at the time did a double take upon watching the commercial for Glamour Gals dolls collection from 1981.

However the actress who had actually starred in the commercial has addressed the confusion in a new interview with Inside Edition.

The blonde beauty – actress Toni Hudson, now 63 – cleared up the rumors as she told the entertainment news show: ‘It’s not Taylor Swift, it’s me Toni Hudson.

‘Right here in the flesh. I did that commercial.’

The Glamour Gals commercial was Toni’s big break at 19 years old.

Toni has had a successful acting career as she starred in television series Capitol and movie Young Doctor’s In Love both in 1982 which was a year after her commercial debut.

She has continued to act for over 40 years with notable roles in Just One Of The Guys (1985), Places In The Heart (1984), Charlie’s Christmas Wish (2020), and most recently Assassin’s Fury (2023).

Her signature role was Denise in 1985 film Just One of the Guys.

Toni also made guest appearances on TV shows including The Greatest American Hero, T.J. Hooker, Knight Rider, The A-Team, and The Love Boat.

Meanwhile, the singer was born in 1989 but when the video was posted on TikTok back in November, fans questioned if it really is Taylor in the advert.

The video was accompanied with the caption: ‘This 1981 commercial is proof that Taylor Swift is a time traveler’.

The actress bore a striking resemblance to the singer as she rocked Taylor’s signature fringe.

Fans took to the comment section to comment on the uncanny resemblance.

They wrote: ‘Wow it does really look like her’ and ‘Sounds like her too!’

‘She looks like her, but you can see the differences.’

‘I was like wait is that Taylor’ and ‘Taylor looks like her she was born first.’

While Taylor wasn’t in the Glamour Gals dolls advert, the singer has appeared dozens of commercials.

The Love Story hitmaker has advertised for a whole host of brands – from Kegs to Target, Apple Music, Diet Coke, Macy’s and Sony.
