Patrick Beverley rents out his Encino, CA residence for $23,000 per month, offering a luxury living experience
Basketball player Patrick Beverley isn’t prepared to give up his links to California just yet.
The Los Angeles Lakers traded for the renowned free-speaker guard during the midseason, following a major overhaul of the squad at the trade deadline. The three-time member of the NBA All-Defensive Team joined the Chicago Bulls in February. Beverley, in turn, recently listed his opulent home in Encino, California, for rent.
PatBev’s five-bedroom apartment, which was listed for an astounding $23,000 per month, seems to have drawn a tenant. Constructed in 2020, the 5,264-square-foot home has an airy, open floor plan.
The stylish chef’s kitchen offers a minimalist design with custom cabinets; a butler’s pantry; brushed-black, stainless steel appliances; and a huge center island with a prep sink and bar. Sliding glass doors in the breakfast area lead to a patio.
A nearby family room features a gorgeous marble fireplace, built-in bookcase, and a wall of sliding-glass pocket doors that open to the covered pool area.
The formal living room offers built-in bookcases and a second fireplace.
There are three bedrooms upstairs and two on the ground floor.
The spacious main suite has sliders that connect to a private balcony, two walk-in closets with built-in bookcases, a fireplace with a brick accent wall, and pitched, white-oak beam ceilings. The suite even has a refrigerator and espresso maker for hassle-free morning coffee on the patio.
bespoke tilework, a walk-in dual shower with accent lighting, double sink vanities, bespoke cabinetry, and a separate soaking tub are features of an eye-catching main bathroom.
In addition, the property has a pool and spa, a home theater, and a pool house with a three-quarter bathroom.
While playing with the Los Angeles Clippers, Beverley bought the home in April 2021 for $3.78 million.
Now 34, he’s heading into free agency after finishing the 2023 season with the Bulls.
Beverley has spent 11 seasons in the league and earned a reputation as a tenacious defender—and a superior troll of opposing players. If he wants to keep playing, he’ll need to catch on with a new team this summer. If nothing comes up on the court, he’ll likely become an in-demand host for one of the many sports-talk debate shows.
