NBA star Zach LaVine enjoys a luxurious life in a mansion worth $34M

Zach LaVine, the Chicago Bulls All-Star who started his NBA career with the Minnesota Timberwolves, was the mystеry buyer who paid $34M for a Newport Coast house.

The Orange County Register reported last month that LaVine might now be the owner of the opulent home, the most expensive estate ever sold in Pelican Crest, the gated community where Vanessa Bryant and Hot Pockets creator Paul Merage reside. The new homeowner was reportedly a professional athlete.

Despite the real estate market slump, eligible purchasers bought the expensive mansion in March. After multiple showings, the listing agents received three bids in the home’s first two weeks. After a failed escrow, the sellers accepted LaVine’s $34 mιllιon offer.

LaVine’s desire for a large estate is no surprise. After all, the $215 mιllιon man sold his first Newport Coast mansion, a similar but smaller Crystal Cove residence. The 28-year-old Seattle native recently listed his suburban Washingtоn state house.

It is stated that the 2010 Pelican Crest house is “timeless” and “irreplaceable.” Rob and Ami Douk purchased the house for $14.7 million, and they proceeded to restore it in the Tuscan style. Situated on an enormous 0.79-acre lot, at the end of a cul-de-sac, the property is gated.

LaVine and Hunter will have a gourmet kitchen with two marble-topped islands, a state-of-the-art gym, an infrared sauna, a wine cellar, a games room, a golf simulator, and a master suite with a walk-in closet inspired by Yves Saint Laurent in their new O.C. palace. There are large, bright interior spaces because of the foldable glass doors.

The centerpiece of the property is its pie-shaped land, which provides incredibly expansive vistas of the Pacific Ocean to the southwest as well as unhindered sunrise and sunset views. LaVine will pay $34 million in views and $843 in HOA dues per month.

The buyer was listed and represented by Paul Daftarian of Luxe Real Estate and Abe Lim of Circa Properties.
