Kevin Garnett accuses LeBron James of using banned substances during career

KG made serious accusations against LeBron James

LeBron James continues to set records and just a few days ago became the first player in NBA history to surpass the 40,000-point barrier, further bolstering his case to be considered the GOAT of basketball.

Still in his 40s, LeBron is still playing at a high level and the Los Angeles Lakers small forward continues to have his detractors too, with now a legendary former player making some pretty explosive statements about ‘the King’.

It’s Garnett, who on an episode of his podcast ‘KG CERTIFIED w/ Kevin Garnett’ was arguing with former Boston Celtics teammate Paul Pierce about the prospect of LeBron‘s son Bronny James making it to the NBA in the next draft.

Garnett accused LeBron of doping?

Garnett and Pierce got into an argument over whether Bronny James could beat his father in a 1v1 game, with KG saying that LeBron is ‘using that new BALCO stuff’, without offering any further context or clues to these claims.

The company Garnett is referring to is the Bay Area Laboratory Co-operative, better known by its acronym BALCO, which was shut down in 2003 after a scandal was uncovered in which the lab clandestinely supplied performance-enhancing drugs to professional athletes.

Among those implicated were MLB’s all-time home run leader Barry Bonds, legendary NFL linebacker Bill Romanowski, among other high-profile athletes in various American sports.
