Bryce James Brings Pride to His Father with Sierra Canyon’s Victory – LeBron Embraces His Son with Joy
Bryce James, the junior son of NBA superstar LeBron James, recently wowed the crowd at USC’s Galen Center while playing high school basketball. Bryce replaced Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, California) in the first quarter of the Chosen1 Invitational versus Coronado (Las Vegas), with his father and family watching from the sidelines.
Bronny, Bryce’s older sibling, returned to basketball on the same floor five months earlier after suffering a myocardial infarction. Bronny was unable to attend his brother’s performance after making his USC debut versus Auburn on Sunday afternoon due to travel with his team.
Sierra Canyon recently extended its reign of domination with a 59-point win. They took an early lead and defeated Coronado 83-55 on Saturday evening. Bryce James, a 6-4 shooting guard, had three assists, eight points (two from beyond the arc), and a 45% field goal percentage in 21 minutes of play.
Sierra Canyon’s 46-18 halftime lead proved to be a game changer. Bryce Cofield, a junior wing, led the squad in scoring with 21 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists. Sierra Canyon’s record has increased to 10-1 thanks to their amazing performance. The next opponent in the forthcoming Santa Barbara Tournament will be Burroughs High School.
Bryce James, like his twin Bronny, is keeping a quiet profile throughout the recruiting process. Previously, he made unofficial trips to Ohio State and USC. Colleges and recruiters are taking notice of his jump shooting ability and exquisite touch near the basket, in particular.
Bryce James has great pocket distributing ability, according to LeBron James.
Throughout his son’s basketball career, LeBron James has continuously shown admiration and encouragement. Recently, the Los Angeles Lakers player gushed on Instagram about his younger son Bryce’s basketball abilities, praising a particularly spectacular pocket pass.
“Maximum pocket pass!” declared James, a senior. You’re really smashing it! a pocket ELITE permit! Even specialists have difficulties accomplishing the feat. Bryce was recognized for his outstanding performance in Sierra Canyon’s recent 59-point victory, which included a number of other standout plays in addition to the aforementioned pocket pass.
Bryce, a junior, has sparked interest from USC as well as offers from Ohio State and Duquesne because of his steady progress as a player. Bryce is currently rated as a three-star recruit by 247Sports because to his great ability, particularly in passing and shooting.
This is not mere parental pride; it is the endorsement of a seasoned professional—and that is precisely what LeBron James is conveying. His already remarkable skill set will further develop as Bryce continues to play high school basketball, paving the way for a professional basketball career.
