Chiefs cornerback L’Jarius Sneed is reportedly a free agency target of the Falcons after urging Kansas City brass to ‘pay me’ following the team’s Super Bowl win.

 

Sneed, a 2020 fourth-round pick, will see his four-year, $3.9million deal expire this offseason.

And according to Sportskeeda, the Falcons are ‘hot on the trail’ for the 27-year-old, with other teams expected to express interest as well once the legal tampering period begins.

The report also named the Broncos as a team that was interested in Sneed, while the defensive back teased a potential move to the Eagles over the weekend.

Sneed posted a picture to Instagram of himself doing an airplane motion with his arms, captioning the photo with an Eagles emoji.

Eagles receiver DeVonta Smith liked the post.

Three Eagles players – Boston Scott, Milton Williams and Griffin Herbert – were college teammates of Sneed’s at Louisiana Tech.

And Sportskeeda has reported that the trio is ‘actively recruiting’ the Chiefs star to come to Philly.

Speaking earlier this month on Up & Adams, Sneed had just two words for general manager Brett Veach ahead of his contract expiring this offseason.

‘Pay me,’ Sneed said. ‘Pay me, pay me. That’s what I’ve got to say – pay me.

Now, he’s set for a big pay raise – with estimates cited by the Arrowhead Report placing his next contract somewhere in the range between $15.5million-$17.5million.

Kansas City could also place the franchise tag on Sneed – which would keep him around for another year while paying him $18.8million.

Sneed recorded two tackles in the Super Bowl and impressed in coverage as the Chiefs beat the 49ers 25-22.

He also started 16 games in the regular season and all four games in the playoffs.
