Jason Kelce congratulated his brother Travis Kelce following the Kansas City Chiefs’ AFC Championship victory — and he did it with a shirt on.

Last week, Kelce notably celebrated the Chiefs’ win over the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Divisional Round playoff win shirtless.

After the Chiefs topped the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday 17-10, Jason Kelce took to the field in a Hawaiian shirt to spend a moment with his brother.

The two hugged and Jason told Travis to “finish that motherf–ker.”

The younger Kelce not only broke the NFL’s playoff record for career receptions previously held by Jerry Rice — and did so in front of high-profile girlfriend and global music star Taylor Swift — but he decimated the Ravens all-year-long elite defense for 11 catches, 116 yards and a touchdown.

The win puts Travis and the Chiefs back in the Super Bowl for the fourth time in five seasons, with a shot at a third Super Bowl victory since the 2019 season and back-to-back crowns.

Travis and the Chiefs defeated his brother Jason and the Eagles 38-35 in Super Bowl LVII one year ago.

The older Kelce and the Philadelphia Eagles lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 32-9 in the wild-card round.

The υniqυe pυffer jackets took the internet by storм and have now earned Jυszczyk a licensing deal with the NFL, according to Sportico.

The two brothers embraced on the field afterwards, with Jason telling Travis to ‘finish this mother***er’.

Minutes later, the 36-year-old – who has suggested he could retire after this season – told DailyMail.com: ‘Whenever you’re around this atmosphere, man, it’s really hard to not want to continue doing this.’

He added: ‘The game continues to be difficult to play – selfishly, physically. It’s a grueling sport and it has its problems with trying to play it the older you get… (but) it’s hard. It’s really hard. I’ll be honest with you.’

Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs faced plenty of scrutiny during an indifferent regular season, when the defending Super Bowl champions lost six games and struggled for offensive rhythm.

But Andy Reid’s side have impressed in the playoffs – against the Bills and Ravens – and Jason praised the character of his brother and Travis’ teammates in defying their doubters.

‘I think they’ve been coming on offense,’ he said. ‘Trav faced a lot of criticism, and that’s the nature of this business.

‘But I think offensively they’ve continued to get better and they’ve gotten better across the board. (Wide receiver) Rashee Rice has really come into his own. (Isiah) Pacheco continues to be involved. They’re really spreading the ball around phenomenally. And Pat Mahomes is finding ways to have success.

‘I think Trav is sharing in that success. One of the beautiful things about this sport is: no man is an island. You must draw your strength from others. It’s truly a team game. And, no matter how you good you are as an individual, teams can double you. Teams can find a way to take one person away.

‘When offenses play as a team, when they play as a unit, and they play balanced, it creates a difficulty to try and take away great players. And I think Trav has benefited from a lot of great players on that offense – as of late especially. They’re playing really, really good football.’

Kelce has tasted occasions like these during 12 years with the Eagles. He won the Super Bowl in 2017 and faced his brother in last year’s showpiece. When asked how it compared experiencing a game of this magnitude from the stands – rather than the field – he said: ‘I’ve had my share on the fields and I’ve had my share in the stands.

‘I can’t say enough unbelievable things about the Kansas City Chiefs, Pat Mahomes and this team’s resiliency to get it done in a hostile environment. This crowd was into it. This crowd was unbelievable in Baltimore. And they weathered it. They played through it. And they found a way to get it done against one of the best defenses in the NFL – and also the league’s likely MVP in Lamar Jackson.

‘It’s such a remarkable task to try and get done. But when you have guys like Andy Reid at the helm, all their coaches and their leaders up front and Pat Mahomes, it’s truly a pleasure to watch teams like that have success.’

Kelce won’t commit to retirement or any decision at this point

PHILADELPHIA — Jason Kelce remains noncommittal regarding his future in the NFL, but could be leaning toward one final season. Speaking with The Philadelphia Inquirer after the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship on Sunday, Kelce opened up about his future in the NFL.

“As a Philadelphia Eagle, incredibly disappointing season, especially at the end of it,” Kelce said. “And I really, really look forward to next year. I look forward to trying to prove people wrong, especially with some of the recent hires and Nick Sirianni. And there’s a lot of things up in the air for the Philadelphia Eagles. But I think that, as a player, you always look forward to go into battle with your guys.”

Kelce hasn’t announced a decision on his future or not, but he appears to be coming around toward potentially another year in the NFL. Whatever Kelce decides to do, he wants to remain part of the organization.

Kelce shut down any questions about his future when all the cameras were in front of him a few weeks back on locker clean out day, but the Philadelphia Eagles All-Pro center did answer at least one question on his future when the horse of reporters left. Kelce didn’t made a decision yet.

“I don’t even know what involves my future, whether it’s playing football or not. I have no idea,” Kelce said as he held his cup of coffee. “It’s um, yeah, we’ll figure it out. I don’t want to address any of that stuff.

“I think it’s, um, I don’t like to live in absolutes in general, so I guess it could be.”

Whatever Kelce decides to return for a 14th season with the Eagles or not, he’s not thinking about that at the moment. Brother Travis Kelce is going to Super Bowl LVIII with the Kansas City Chiefs, and there’s a good chance Jason will be sitting in a box with mother Donna and Taylor Swift — as he’s done this postseason.

Jason has even thought of attending the Pro Bowl, which likely wasn’t on his to-do list given the Eagles’ 10-1 start to the season. He’s not even sure what they do at the Pro Bowl anymore. Philadelphia appeared primed to make another deep playoff run before losing six of its last seven in one of the greatest collapses in NFL history.

The collapse still lingers throughout Kelce’s mind. How could it not?

“I don’t think we really got it done those last six weeks,” Kelce said. “There were different struggles in each of those games. I know it might appear one thing might fix one game — but it might not fix the other.

“Overall, when you get an entire offseason you get a much bigger perspective. You get to go into your own self tendencies more. You get to really dive into a lot of structural things. You get to reassess players and things. You get to really think much, much harder. Search for answers with the more time that you get.

“It’s hard to make those shifts a lot of times in season. It can be done, we didn’t get it done. I feel confident those shifts can be made.”

In the meantime, Kelce will continue to contemplate his future. And in due time, he’ll make a decision what he plans to do in 2024.

There’s plenty to think about, especially when there’s a brand Kelce built. How much further can he take that brand as it keep growing, whether he plays football or not?

“I’ll always wanna be involved in the game,” an emotional Kelce said. “It’s a hard thing to step away from, completely I’m imagining. I still want — there’s a lot of things I still want to learn about football. I still want to figure out what we can do to figure out what happened these last six, seven weeks.

“There’s still plenty to learn. I’d love to learn route trees and different concepts. This is why this protection is called this, why this guy is bending this way. I know a lot about my little pocket of football, but I’d love to know more aout the collective whole.

“That’s something I’d love to get a better grasp on in the future.”
