To which Travis imagiпed the exchaпge as, “‘We’re goiпg to the Sυper Bowl baby. We’re goiпg to the Bowl, we did it.’”

Jason Kelce arrived in Orlando, Florida for the Pro Bowl Games this weekend wearing his signature footwear- a pair of dark brown flip flops.

In a clip posted by the Philadelphia Eagles on Wednesday, Kelce is seen rocking a cardigan over a black shirt, a pair of shorts and his flip flops while pushing stroller in what appears to be a hotel entrance.

The flip flops have become affiliated with Kelce as he appears to wear them everywhere but the field. In contrary to his brother Travis, who sports outfits right out of magazine spread, Jason prefers to be in comfortable clothing with his feet exposed.

 

Kelce grabbed fans’ attention when he wore the flip flops under snowy conditionsin New York before the Eagles played against the Giants at the end of the season.

In this year’s games, the Eagles are tied with Miami for the second most Pro Bowl selections with six.

Kelce joins quarterback Jalen Hurts, running back D’Andre Swift, wide receiver AJ Brown, offensive tackle Lane Johnson and guard Landon Dickerson in the Pro Bowl festivities.

The Eagles finished their season with an 11-6 record, placing second in the NFC East. After a 10-1 start, the team caused fans to panic when they lost five of their last six outings.

In their last regular season game, the Eagles lost to the struggling Giants in a 27-10 game that saw them scoreless in the first half.

Philadelphia’s campaign saw an abrupt ending when they were blown out, 32-9, by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the wild card round.

Kelce has since enjoyed the offseason as he spends time with his wife and daughters while supporting Travis through the playoffs. Kelce was spotted cheering for the Chiefs in Buffalo during the divisional playoffs and Baltimore for the conference championship.

He is also expected to attend the Super Bowl in Las Vegas as Travis and the Chiefs try to defeat the San Francisco 49ers for their second straight title.

Travis Kelce might not have put a ring on it yet, but his mom did.

At Sunday’s Chiefs vs. Ravens playoff game, Taylor Swift cheered on boyfriend Travis Kelce wearing a bevy of sweetly symbolic baubles — including an EB & Co. ring ($14) featuring a miniature model of the tight end’s jersey.

And the Kansas City business’ owner, Emily Bordner, says it all started with a shipment to the NFL pro’s mother, Donna Kelce.

“We gifted Donna some [styles]. We know that she loved our earrings,” Bordner told KMBC.

“We wanted to gift her even more Kelce-themed products. So, we sent those to her and then we were hoping that she would give them to Taylor. And she did.”

Ever since Swift hit the suite rocking her meaningful ring, Bordner’s sales have soared.

After scoring a placement on one of the world’s most powerful women, Bordner’s now focused on shipping out a flood of incoming orders as quickly as possible.

“It’s just been a crazy whirlwind and we’re just trying to take of take advantage of everything we can and sell as much as we can and show appreciation as much as we can for Donna and Taylor and everybody,” she told KMBC.

The tiny red jersey ring wasn’t the only gifted sparkle Swift sported on game day; she also flashed a diamond tennis bracelet from Wove that spelled out “TNT” — for Taylor and Travis, of course — that the brand’s lead jeweler, Kendall Junck, later confirmed was a present from the football player to the pop star.

 

Travis Kelce thinks “cranky” NFL fans are finally coming around to his romance with Taylor Swift — despite incessantly complaining about it during the season.

During an appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” Wednesday, the Kansas City Chiefs star agreed with host Pat McAfee that a lot of people are starting to realize his relationship with Swift is actually the real deal.

“At the beginning a lot of football people just thought it was fake,” McAfee explained. “Now I think people can’t help but realize that Travis is phenomenal at football — this guy is everything that we like in a football player — and he is in love!”

“It’s a beautiful thing, isn’t it?” Kelce, 34, replied, noting that he and Swift, also 34, “are just two people in a relationship supporting each other and having fun with it.”

Although Kelce only hinted at his love for Swift on the radio show, the couple was caught exchanging “I love you’s” following the Chiefs triumphant win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.

The pair has faced lots of backlash from football fans over the last couple months due to the amount of screen time Swift receives while at Kelce’s games — despite the “Cruel Summer” singer averaging less than 25 seconds on air per game.

However, Kelce insists that he and Swift will continue to go about their relationship with as much normalcy as possible — regardless of people trying to make them the “enemy,”

“We just have fun with it and we enjoy every single bit of it,” the tight end said. “I love it when Taylor comes and supports me and enjoys the game with the fam and friends. It’s been nothing but a wonderful year.”

Swift — who started dating the NFL star over the summer — has attended 12 of Kelce’s game this season, often rocking up to the stadium alongside his parents, Donna and Ed Kelce, and his closest childhood friends.

She also recently met the two-time Super Bowl champion’s older brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Kylie Kelce, at one of Travis’ games earlier this month.

The group is expected to get together again on Feb. 11 to cheer on the Chiefs as they face off against the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl — despite Swift having a concert across the globe the night before.

Although the Super Bowl is nearly two weeks away, there has already been grumbling from some NFL fans about Swift’s presence at the game — yet Travis also noted that getting “hate” is nothing new for Swift, who has “dealt with it forever.”

“We hear it but we hardly ever talk about it,” he said of the criticism. “Its nothing to even talk about — nothing to bring up.”
Although the pair don’t give the negative attention much thought, Travis admitted elsewhere in the episode that the extra media scrutiny has been a “brand new” experience for him. 

“From having the paparazzi follow me every single day into work to everybody having my name on their talk show every single day whether it’s sports whether it’s not sports,” he explained. “You know it’s just been a crazy, crazy ride I could have never anticipated.”

Despite being a frontrunner for the league’s MVP, Jackson didn’t dominate in this showdown. Now as they prep for the Super Bowl, will it again be a defense-centered Chiefs? Or will the offense led by Mahomes and Kelce finally dominate?

She said, “The first time he jumped out of the suite, I was, ‘You know what, go ahead.’ That’s my husband. It seems like a lot of people have been pronouncing Travis and Jason Kelce’s last name wrong.

“So y’all know it’s not even Travis ‘Kel-see?’” Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones can be heard saying on the bench in a clip from “Inside the NFL,” which was filmed during the team’s frigid Jan. 13 game against the Miami Dolphins.

When one of his teammate asks for clarification, he responds, “[It’s] Travis ‘Kels.’ Yeah, well, f—ing crazy, right?”

However, this news may not come as a surprise to fans of the Kelce brothers’ podcast, “New Heights.”

 

Travis and Jason actually discussed the topic in a February 2023 episode, during which they exposed family secrets with their parents, Donna and Ed Kelce.

At one point, they put their father in the hot seat for “changing” their last name.

Kansas City Chiefs player Chris Jones shocked his teammates when he revealed that Travis and Jason Kelce’s last name is pronounced “Kels” rather than “Kel-see.”

“Why in the world did you change your name out of nowhere?” Jason, 36, wondered.

“I never changed my name out of nowhere,” the NFL dad replied.

“I got tired of correcting people.”

“So you changed your entire family’s name over generations … ’cause you were tired of correcting people,” Jason shot back as his younger brother laughed.

The clip from “Inside the NFL” has resurfaced the brothers’ February 2023 conversation with dad Ed Kelce on their “New Heights” podcast.

During the episode, the Philadelphia Eagles center grilled their father on why everyone pronounces their last name incorrectly.

The Philadelphia Eagles center continued to pressure his dad by asking why he and Travis, 34, only found out about the original pronunciation of their name in their 20s.

Ed then admitted that their mother, Donna, thought it was pronounced “Kel-see” as well.

“That was the name that I went by at work. That was my work name,” he explained.

He confessed that didn’t even correct their mother, Donna Kelce.

When Jason asked how he should pronounce their last name, his dad cheekily replied, “Do whatever you want. I did!”

Ultimately, Travis said he’ll “go by both,” while Jason said he prefers the incorrect pronunciation.

“Don’t call me ‘Kels,’” he warned listeners.

The situation had the NFL pros cracking up.

The resurfaced clip about the Kelces’ last name comes amid reports of Jason’s retirement from the NFL following the Eagles’ playoff loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Monday night.

After the game, the Super Bowl champion appeared emotional as he found his family in the stands. He then reportedly told his teammates in the locker room of his plans to step away from football after 13 seasons.

However, on Wednesday’s episode of “New Heights,” the six-time All-Pro honoree addressed the speculation — which has Swifties upset — by saying he has purposely not revealed his intentions for next season.

The discussion has come up as Jason contemplates his future with the NFL.

“I don’t know what next year is going to look like with the team, coaches, players,” he said.

“I just want to make sure everybody knows how much I love and respect and appreciate the effort and energy they put into the year.

“I know the outcome, Philadelphia, was not acceptable, but I love each and every person in that room.”

He reportedly announced his retirement to teammates after the Eagles’ Monday night loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

However, he said on Wednesday’s “New Heights” episode that he has not made a decision.

Jason also said he doesn’t think it would be smart to make a big decision coming off such a heartbreaking loss.

“I’m not trying to be dramatic and continue to draw this thing out, I’m really not,” he added.

“It’s just something that I think, when it’s time to officially announce what’s happening in the future, it’ll be done at in a way that’s definitive and pays respect to a lot of people and individuals that have meant a lot to me and what has led to the career I’ve had.”

Jason Kelce‘s eldest daughter has been a legend since day one, and she’s got an entire NFL team reminding her of her “rockstar” status.

On Tuesday, the Philadelphia Eagles showed their starting center some love on TikTok. The pro team shared a throwback video of Kelce and his daughter Wyatt, who’s now 4 years old but was an itty bitty baby in the sweet clip.

The dad of three held an infant Wyatt to his chest while greeting fans, and when he turned around and noticed the Eagles social team filming his interactions, he sweetly said to Wyatt, “Baby girl, you’re a rockstar.” Pointing toward the camera, Kelce emphasized, “Look at this.”

Wyatt was in that googly-eyed, unfocused vision stage of infancy, so she had no idea what she was supposed to be looking at then, but the Eagles gave her a handy reminder with their video caption. “Still a rockstar 4 years later,” the team wrote, effectively becoming her gaggle of groupies. Not even 5 years old and she has not one, not two, but an entire NFL team supporting her!

It’s not just the Eagles team that’s hyping up Wyatt — the fanbase is also part of the tot’s admirers, if the video’s comments are any indication. “Wyatt Kelce fan account 😌,” wrote one supporter, while another commented, “Both Philly icons.”

A Family of Stars

In December 2023, Kelce’s wife Kylie spoke to People about the way Wyatt spots the rockstars in her life while they’re playing on the field. “We like to look at the TV for times when Jason might have his helmet off or Uncle Trav might have his helmet off,” she told the outlet. “Those are the moments where I can really suck them into a game because then they don’t look like every other person on the field.”

Kylie continued, “When their helmets are off, they can say, ‘Oh, that’s definitely Dad.’” She went on to share another cue her eldest has picked up on when it comes to looking for her papa in a sea of identical football jerseys. “Wyatt has recognized Jason’s number on his jersey,” Kylie said. “She calls it ‘sixty, number two,’ instead of 62. But same thing, she knows what she’s looking for.” Number 62 should henceforth be referred to as “sixty, number two,” as Wyatt has deemed it — too dang stinking cute!

In addition to rockstar Wyatt, Jason and Kylie also share daughters Elliotte, 2, and Bennett, who will turn 1 in February.

Travis Kelce is set to miss out on the Grammys altogether, meaning that he won’t be able to witness Taylor Swift potentially winning an award, due to a ‘strict Super Bowl schedule’ imposed by the Kansas City Chiefs.

According to TMZ, the 34-year-old tight-end will be arriving in Las Vegas the same weekend as the music industry’s biggest award ceremony, which is set to take place on Sunday at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles – home of the Lakers.

This also means that Kelce will no longer play in the Pro Bowl, also on Sunday in Orlando, Florida. Kansas City’s No. 87 received his ninth straight nomination since 2015 to play in what used to be called the NFL All-Star game.

Swift will now have to go solo on the red carpet this weekend as she is up for six awards at the Grammy’s.

The conflict in schedule between the pop star and her boyfriend is no indicator that there is any heat in between them. Last Sunday, Kelce confessed his love for Swift in Baltimore, as the Chiefs defeated the Ravens, 17-10, in the AFC Championship game.

Kelce even caught the first touchdown pass of that game, with Swift stunned by the Chiefs’ red hot start. He ended up with 116 receiving yards for a touchdown on 11 receptions, but was seen without his girlfriend upon return to Kansas City.

Since then, it has been widely announced that Kelce is set to be the subject of a comic book coming out shortly.

The Kelce-Swift romance has been pure gold for the NFL, spiking interest across social media and increasing merchandise sales.

Kelce will compete in the Super Bowl in Las Vegas on February 11, but Swift could miss it due to scheduling conflicts with her ‘Eras Tour,’ which has her performing in Tokyo on February 10, the night before the Super Bowl.
