Taylor, who’s in a relationship with Travis, has been attending her beau’s games since late September — and the NFL’s network partners have made the most of televising cutaways to the pop star as she cheers him on. Her regular attendance at Chiefs games has boosted TV ratings, ticket sales and jersey sales, and resulted in an uptick in social media followers for NFL- and Chiefs-associated accounts.

“The attention is there because the audience wants to see it,” Jason told Caleb Noe, a reporter for Cincinnati ABC affiliate WCPO 9, in a recent interview. “I mean, if people didn’t want to see it, they wouldn’t be showing it. I know that.”

“She’s a world star,” Jason said. “She’s the quintessential artist right now in the world, singer-songwriter, immensely talented, unbelievable role model for young women across the globe. So I think that the NFL would probably be foolish not to, you know, show her and be a role model for all the young girls out there.”

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell told CBS Mornings in November, “I think it’s great for the league to have that kind of attention. We welcome it.”

On the latest episode of their joint podcast New Heights, the Kelce brothers reflected on the Chiefs’ Jan. 28 AFC Championship win against the Baltimore Ravens.

Swift was in the crowd along with the Kelce family at M&T Bank Stadium in Maryland from start to finish, and afterward on the field to celebrate the Chiefs being Super Bowl-bound. She kissed Travis on live TV, and Travis audibly told her “I love you” on the field.

Swift has a show in Tokyo the day before the Super Bowl, which is taking place in Las Vegas. The Embassy of Japan is assuring fans that the superstar will have time to make it to the game after her Eras Tour plays at the Tokyo Dome from Feb. 7-10.

Taylor Swift’s father Scott Swift recently ignored a reporter who asked him about Travis Kelce’s marriage proposal to his daughter.

Following his arrival at Los Angeles International Airport on Friday, ahead of the Grammy Awards, the 71 year-old refused to respond to a question concerning whether the NFL tight end will ask for his blessing before popping the big question.

When a paparazzo asked Scott about his thoughts on the 35 year-old footballer asking for his permission to marry Taylor, he abruptly shut his car door.

Prior to the cold shoulder, Daily Mail reported that he seemed happy to answer a few football-related questions, including if he was a Kansas City Chiefs fan before Taylor began dating Travis.

“I’m a football fan — of all teams,” Scott answered who is known to be a long time Philadelphia Eagles fan.

Rumours about Travis and Taylor’s engagement started to circulate in December 2023 after Page Six revealed that the football player had previously asked Scott for permission to propose to the 12-time Grammy winner.

In the video, you can see a security guard in the suite yell at Jason that Kylie wants him back inside, but she uses much harsher words. The security guard yelled, “Hey, Kylie said to get your a** back in here.” Jason took a couple more photos with fans before hopping back into the suite.

During one of the games, cameras captured Swift and Brittany celebrating with a secret handshake. Patrick later told CBS This Morning, Swift is “part of the Chiefs kingdom” at this point, admitting her handshake with Brittany is “better than [his] and Travis’.”

The tight end is teaming up with Kodiak Cakes to give out 25,000 meals to Kansas City students. The pair will work with the non-profit, after school program Operation Breakthrough to donate the hot breakfasts.

Back in 2022, Kelce, 34, invested in the food brand, which focuses on protein-packed, whole grain breakfast items. Plus, Kelce has worked with Operation Breakthrough over the years through Eighty-Seven & Running, a foundation that the NFL star founded in 2015 focused on mentoring underserved youth.

His mom Donna Kelce also donated proceeds from her cookie bake sale at Arrowhead Stadium in December to Operation Breakthrough.

 

“Joining forces with my friends over at Kodiak to fuel the Operation Breakthrough families is a total privilege,” Kelce said in a release. “Alongside Kodiak, a brand I love, we will be making a meaningful difference in the day-to-day life of hundreds of Kansas City kids, and I couldn’t be more excited to make this happen.”

Operation Breakthrough has programs for children as young as 6 weeks old through high school. They’ll receive options like breakfast bars, granola bars, pancakes, oatmeal and more from Kodiak. The meals will be donated “immediately,” PEOPLE confirms.

Plus, Kodiak, which counts Zac Efron as chief brand officer, will stock the pantries at Operation Breakthrough locations with snacks for the students.

Kelce’s friend and fellow Kansas City Chiefs player Patrick Mahomes recently confirmed that fame hasn’t changed Kelce.

“Travis has always been Travis,” the quarterback said of his teammate, according to NBC Sports on Wednesday. “He’s still Travis Kelce.”

“He still will walk through the stadium and treat every single person like they’re his best friend. And he’s going to be like that in the locker room every single day,” he added.
