Despite not taking the stage to perform on Sunday, Taylor Swift sure made the 2024 Grammy Awards a memorable night.

Ahead of Sunday’s festivities, fans noticed that her website was broken and giving visitors an error message. Further fueling speculation that Swift had something in the works, her profile picture on Instagram was changed to a black-and-white image instead of the color version that was previously visible — with 13 hours until midnight left to go.

Then, in addition to collecting her 13th Grammy award — best pop album — she also surprised Swifties everywhere when she announced her upcoming new album, The Tortured Poets Department, during her acceptance speech.

From her Reputation-coded ensemble (an apparent red herring!) to her sweet reunions inside the ceremony, here are all of the superstar’s best moments at the 2024 Grammys.

Taylor Swift stunned in a white Schiaparelli gown paired with black opera gloves and sparkling accessories — including a clock choker that appeared to be set to midnight. In one video, Swift was seen smoothing down Lana Del Rey’s hair before the two pals and collaborators hit the carpet together.

Swift entered the ceremony with Del Rey, Jack Antonoff and his wife, Margaret Qualley. As she walked in, host Trevor Noah gave her a shoutout as she made her way to her seat, joking that she boosted the economy of every table she passed. “Lionel Richie is now Lionel Wealthy,” he quipped.

Swift also came prepared for any potential lip-reading enthusiasts, accessorizing with a black lace fan that also conveniently served to block the camera picking up any stray conversation.

Swift was on her feet for the second performance of the night, when Luke Combs took the stage with Tracy Chapman to sing her iconic song “Fast Car.” During the song, Swift was one of the many stars seen singing along from their seat. Chapman and Combs received a standing ovation as they finished the moving duet.

It has been almost 20 years since a team last retained the Vince Lombardi trophy, with the 2005 New England Patriots the last back-to-back champions on record – but Kansas City has the chance to change that next Sunday.

After winning last season’s showpiece, Andy Reid’s team are now set to lock horns with NFC champions San Francisco at Super Bowl LVIII, where they will aim to keep their hands on the NFL’s big prize for at least another year.

And ahead of their quest for history, the likes of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce made their grand arrivals in Vegas exactly one week before their battle with the Niners.

Kelce is expected to be cheered on at Allegiant Stadium by girlfriend Taylor Swift, who appears set to wrap up the latest leg of her Eras Tour in Tokyo and make the near 9,000-mile trip to Sin City.

Swift has attended a number of her boyfriend’s Chiefs game since their romance began last summer, with the pop star even making it onto the field after last weekend’s Conference Championship victory over the Ravens in Baltimore.

As Kelce arrived in Vegas on Sunday night, Swift was sweeping up her 13th and 14th Grammy Award wins over in Los Angeles.

The singer and songwriter won awards for Best Pop Vocal Album and Album of the Year at Crypto.com Arena, where she was also seen sharing a warm embrace with New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft.

The Kansas City tight end’s Super Bowl schedule means he is unable to head to the ceremony and support his girlfriend, who has been nominated for a number of awards.

Meanwhile, Mahomes has arrived in Vegas for his fourth Super Bowl appearance amid news of his father’s arrest for driving under the influence over in Texas.

Patrick Mahomes Sr, 53, was arrested by the Tyler Police Department on at least his third DWI on Saturday night.

He is being held on a $10,000 bond. Mahomes Sr., who is a 6’4 former professional baseball pitcher, is currently in custody at the Smith County Jail.

Back in San Francisco, hundreds of fans showed up in the pouring rain to see the 49ers bus depart for the airport.

As Kelce arrived in Vegas on Sunday night, girlfriend Taylor Swift was sweeping up her 13th and 14th Grammy Award wins

The likes of Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey were later seen touching down in Vegas themselves as they get set to collide with the reigning champions.

The Niners are seeking revenge next weekend after suffering defeat to Kansas City in their last Super Bowl outing back in 2020.

Some of their integral players were part of that loss, including Deebo Samuel, George Kittle, and Kyle Juszczyk.

But since then they have also drafted Purdy and traded for McCaffrey and Chase Young, with the trio producing incredible form this year to make San Francisco a Super Bowl favorite early into the regular season.

The Chiefs have claimed some huge scalps on their latest run to the Super Bowl, dumping out tournament favorites the Ravens last time out.

Mahomes got the better of his quarterback showdown with MVP frontrunner Lamar Jackson, having also defeated arch-rival Josh Allen’s Buffalo Bills in the Divisional Round.

Reid’s men navigated their way past the Miami Dolphins in arctic conditions in the Wild Card round.

As for the 49ers, they produced the third largest comeback in a conference title game against the Detroit Lions last time out.

Trailing 17 points at halftime, Purdy and co turned the tables after the interval to seal a 34-31 victory and book their place in the Super Bowl.

They had previously edged out a thriller against the Green Bay Packers after earning a bye in the Wild Card Round as the top seed in the NFC.

Travis Kelce is making sure his support for Taylor Swift was known from miles away.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, was unable to join his famous girlfriend on her record-making night at the 2024 Grammys, but she remained at the forefront of his mind nonetheless.

The two-time Super Bowl champ kept up with all things Grammys via social media, where he couldn’t help but like a post by NPR on Instagram featuring the singer-songwriter posing on the red carpet.

Meanwhile, Kelce and his team traveled to Las Vegas earlier on Sunday to start preparing for their match-up against the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII.

An insider told Page Six the Chiefs are on a strict schedule leading up to the highly anticipated game, so Kelce has no time for any kind of travel.

What’s more, she was also nominated in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category for her song “Karma.”

The album news came as a surprise to Swifties who widely believed she would announce “Reputation (Taylor’s Version)” at the show thanks to numerous Easter eggs in her outfits over the past several weeks.

Swift has been nominated for 52 Grammys in her career, with six of those coming in 2024: Best pop vocal album, best pop duo/group performance, best pop solo performance, song of the year, album of the year and record of the year.

Although Swift thanked Kelce in her speech, the hunky NFL star didn’t join her at the awards show as his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, traveled to Las Vegas earlier on Sunday so they could prepare to play the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII.

“They believe that timing is everything and that this is their time,” they continued, noting that they are “closer than ever before and everyone around them can see that they’re an amazing match.”

On top of that, the pair’s families — who met for the first time at the Chiefs’ game on Christmas Day — are reportedly “both on board” with the romance and “have never seen either of them so happy.”

In fact, the tight end’s brother, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, called the pop star part of the family following her PDA-packed display with Travis after the AFC Championship game on Jan. 28.

A source told us last month that the pair plans to get engaged around their first anniversary in the summer because “they don’t want it to seem like it’s rushed insanity.”

LAS VEGAS — The irony is that Travis Kelce performs his best on the biggest stage, much like, say, the most popular pop and country music singer-songwriter you can think of.

He is in the conversation, in the days before Super Bowl 2024 against the 49ers, as the Greatest Tight End in NFL history. If the Chiefs capture their third Lombardi Trophy on Sunday night at Allegiant Stadium, it will most likely mean that Kelce has made the kind of impact that would go a long way in enabling him to state his case as the Tight End GOAT.

We marvel and wonder how he gets open, and how often he gets open, seemingly whenever he needs to get open.

“He has little man’s feet and moving skills in a big man’s body,” ESPN analyst and former Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum said. “So he’s like the best of both worlds. He can create separation as a route runner, but he’s a huge man.”

But there is so much more to Kelce’s game.

 

 

“For me, it’s just the ability to think on his feet, literally,” NFL on CBS analyst Charles Davis told The Post, “like when you watch him run routes. And then of course the play turns into something else. How many times have you seen him run a route, feel what’s out there, feel what his quarterback needs or where his quarterback’s headed, put himself in a place to be that bailout safety net and probably primary target anyway? Whatever you want to term it, he does that.

“I remember a coach many, many years ago talking about the best receivers have an amazing feel for space, for understanding spacing, understanding where everyone else is, understanding where the proper spots are, and to me that’s him in his essence.”

“I think it’s their ability to understand when to do something that’s not drawn up,” Davis said. “He understands the offense, he’s not just out there making it up and drawing it up in the dirt. He knows the entire offense, how it’s designed, and then he finds where the holes are, where the spots are, where the places are that he fits without disrupting other people’s routes.”

Tyler Dunne runs golongtd.com and wrote a book called “The Blood and Guts: How Tight Ends Save Football.” I asked him to define the essence of Kelce’s greatness.

“I think what makes [Mike] Ditka special, [Jeremy] Shockey, [George] Kittle, Gronk [Rob Gronkowski], these tight ends, and some of the best tight ends ever, they like to have some fun off the field, they kinda push the envelope and they’re kind of wild child,” Dunne said. “They somehow are able to harness their personality and the way they attack life to this position where you’re hitting people for a living and you’re also catching the ball downfield with everything on the line.”

Kelce, 34, has the kind of telepathy with Mahomes that Gronk had with Tom Brady.

“The other part of it is the rapport that he has with Mahomes,” Dunne continued. “We all see it, but it’s just crazy how Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady had something special and everybody loved to make fun of Gronk for being like this caveman, but he was way smarter than I think anybody really realized, even in the classroom, too. He could kinda run the routes that a lot of Patriot receivers couldn’t. He knew where to turn on those option routes, and he knew what Brady was thinking, and I think you kinda see that same kind of connection in Mahomes and Kelce and then some. There’s so much improvisation, so much second reaction.”

Andy Reid will find mismatches for Kelce.

“You’ve got one of the best offensive minds pushing the buttons and knowing how to scheme this player up into a 1-on-1 matchup,” Dunne said, “and then so much of it is Mahomes being Mahomes and just plays break down and they turn it into a game of basketball, and they just kinda know the crevices in the defense to sneak into whether it’s Mahomes running around or Kelce looking back at Mahomes and knowing exactly where he’s going to scramble to. It’s hard to put your finger on it, but I think that’s probably it more than anything. They just kinda turn football into a game of basketball so often. There’s no way to train for that or practice for that until you see it.”

Former Giants general manager Ernie Accorsi has witnessed the evolution of the tight end position.

“We had great receiving tight ends before — Kellen Winslow, there were others, John Mackey — but this recent vintage, they’re such a feature part of the offense, they create mismatches in the secondary ’cause they’re so big,” Accorsi told The Post.

In 2005, Accorsi signed 6-foot-6 receiver Plaxico Burress to help provide a new dimension for Eli Manning.

“Aside being a breakaway receiver, he gave Eli a big target,” Accorsi said. “I call ’em aircraft carriers, these 6-5, 250-pound tight ends, they’re a safety net for these guys. If they’re covered by a 6-2, 6-3 linebacker, with their athletic ability, they can still make catches, and you see that all the time with Kelce and Gronkowski. They’re smart, they know how to get open, and even when they’re not open, they make plays. And they’re tough to bring down once they catch the ball. … [Sam] LaPorta … there’s a whole new batch of ’em.”

Accorsi lists Kelce and Gronkowski at the top in this tight end generation. Old-timers will cite former Colts Hall of Famer John Mackey. Tannenbaum ranks former Falcons Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez (1,325 receptions, 15,127 yards, 111 TDs) as the greatest of all time over Kelce — “Just a little bit of a better athlete” — but unfortunately for Gonzalez, he won only one playoff game over his 17 seasons with the Chiefs and Falcons and was 30-286-4 TDs in seven postseason games. Kelce (907-11,328-74 TDs) is 156-1,810-19 TDs in 21 postseason games. Of course, Gonzalez never got to play with Mahomes. Gronk (521-7,861-79 TDs) was 98-1,389-15 TDs in 22 postseason games.

Kelce is 22-257-2 TDs in three Super Bowls, with two rings. Gronkowski was 29-364-5 TDs in five Super Bowls, with four rings. In these three playoff games, Kelce is 23-262-3 TDs. He gets Taylor Swift’s vote.

On Friday, the Philadelphia Eagles center, 36, enjoyed soмe tiмe with wife Kylie Kelce and their daυghters — Bennett, 11 мonths, Elliotte, 2½, and Wyatt, 4 — at Walt Disney World Resort.

The faмily of five was photographed hanging oυt with Mickey and Minnie Moυse, and they dressed for the occasion.

Jason repped Mickey on his shirt, while Elliotte and Wyatt, whoм he held in each arм, rocked the park’s signatυre мoυse ears.

The two girls also enjoyed soмe classic Disney snacks — a hot pretzel and chυrro — while Bennett posed with мoм Kylie, 31.

And while the Kelce kids were all sмiles in their photo with the faмoυs мice, мeeting <eм>Frozen</eм> characters Elsa and Anna was priority No. 1 for the faмily — and particυlarly eldest daυghter Wyatt.
