Gardner also revealed that when she was trying to convince SNL creator Lorne Michaels to have Kelce as a host, he said Kelce had to ‘win the Sυper Bowl’ before he woυld be considered.

Kelce did jυst that and was thrυst into the host’s spot on March 4, 2023.

Kelce, who is set to attend the Miaмi Grand Prix with girlfriend Taylor Swift and Patrick and Brittany Mahoмes on Sυnday, appeared to catch υp with the electronic band backstage at the Loυisville gig.

MERCEDES have dropped a major hint that teenage sensation Andrea Kimi Antonelli could be set to replace Lewis Hamilton.

Seven-time world champion Hamilton, 39, is leaving the Silver Arrows for Ferrari in 2025 as he seeks a record-breaking eighth title.

McLaren’s Oscar Piastri, RB’s Daniel Ricciardo, ex-Haas driver Mick Schumacher, and Williams’ Alex Albon have all been mooted as possible options.

But Italian Antonelli, 17, is now set to be given the opportunity to prove himself as the best suitor when he gets behind the wheel of the Mercedes W12.

He will spend two days driving Mercedes’ 2021 constructors’ championship-winning car at the Austria’s Red Bull Ring on April 16 and 17.

After days of speculation, Adrian Newey has finally sealed his fate. The 65-year-old will leave Red Bull sometime after the first quarter of 2025. Meanwhile, he will cease to work on the RB20 with immediate effect and shift his focus completely to Red Bull’s hypercar project. But how much will the Austrian team suffer as a consequence of his absence? As per past records, a lot.

Karun Chandhok recently brought to light the dip in form suffered by the teams after Adrian Newey left them. The Sky F1 presenter cited the examples of Williams and McLaren to explain his point.

Ever since Newey’s exit, Williams has failed to win any world championship and is currently among the lower-rung teams. McLaren, on the other hand, has won just one world championship since Newey’s departure. They won the title back in 2008 when Lewis Hamilton won his first of seven championships.

Chandhok wrote, “Worth remembering that Williams went from championship dominance to not winning another title and Mclaren only won 1 more title after Adrian left….The sport has changed of course but fascinated to see the effect on RBR.”

Adrian Newey joined Williams in 1991 and spent six successful years with the team. During his time there, he worked with the best of talents, including Ayrton Senna, Nigel Mansell, and Damon Hill. After bagging four constructors’ titles with the Oxfordshire-based team, the master aerodynamicist switched to McLaren.

During the nine-year-long stint with the Woking-based outfit, Newey helped them win one Constructors’ title. While it wasn’t as successful a stint as the one with Williams, the legendary Mika Hakkinen won both his championships under Newey.

Red Bull has won all its 13 Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championships with the cars designed by Adrian Newey. The RB20, another one of his revolutionary designs, is on course to add two more to that tally. While his departure will make it difficult for the Milton Keynes outfit to carry forward that form, Newey is confident the team is in safe hands.

As per the official statement released by Red Bull, the Briton said, “It has been a real privilege, and I am confident that the engineering team are well prepared for the work going into the final evolution of the car under the four-year period of this regulation set.”

The ground-effect regulations will last another year until the new iteration begins in 2026. With a proven concept set in, and Max Verstappen at the helm of affairs, the Austrian outfit is certainly the favorite to win another two championships in 2025.

However, they might struggle to keep that run going into the new generation of regulations without Adrian Newey. Repercussions of his exit could further prove to be devastating if he joins the likes of Ferrari or Mercedes. Both have prior title-winning experience and with the addition of Newey, either team could become a force to reckon with.

Max Verstappen took pole position for the Miami Grand Prix – a star-studded event which it is rumoured Donald Trump will attend on Sunday.

If he does show up, the former president can hardly expect to see a shock result, with Verstappen overwhelming favourite to claim his fifth win in six races this season.

This was sixth pole out of six, and seventh across this campaign and last, and came little more than four hours after he cantered to victory in the sprint at the Hard Rock Stadium.

 

In qualifying under a blazing sun, Verstappen beat Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc into second place by 0.141sec. Carlos Sainz, in the second red car, was third best.

As for Trump, it is still unconfirmed whether he will be in town. Taylor Swift is also claimed to be due here, though her name was not included on the official list of showbiz and sports stars slated for an appearance in Florida.

SEBASTIAN VETTEL has refused to rule out a sensational return to F1 as Lewis Hamilton’s replacement at Mercedes.

Hamilton will join Ferrari next season leaving Mercedes with a vacant seat alongside George Russell.

Vettel says he has been speaking with Mercedes boss Toto Wolff, who has made it clear he would also love to sign Red Bull’s Max Verstappen.

Wolff could also opt for highly-rated 17-year-old Kimi Antonelli, but when asked if he was in the running, Vettel did not rule out a return.

He said: “Well, potentially I am because I haven’t got a drive, but the question is, am I looking for one?

“I think it depends on the package. I retired from Formula One not to come back, but I also did say that you never know. So I think it still stands.

With Newey, 65, due to leave Red Bull next year, Hamilton was asked if he wanted to link. ‘Very much,’ he responded before adding: ‘Adrian Newey has got such a great history and track record and he has done an amazing job throughout his career. With the knowledge he has he would be an amazing addition.’

 

Hamilton added: ‘They (Ferrari) have got a great team and they are making huge progress and their car is quicker this year, but it would be a privilege to work with him.

‘If I made a list of people I would like to work with then he (Newey) would absolutely be at the top of it.

The Formula One circus makes its next stop in sunny Florida this week for the Miami Grand Prix.

This will be the third time this race has been run – with the previous two races dominated by Red Bull Racing.

Max Verstappen, who won both races, is back in Miami with the hopes of a three-peat on his mind.

 

Of course, Red Bull would be just as happy if his teammate Sergio Perez continued their run of dominance on this track.

But other drivers have shown up as well – including Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes and both Ferrari drivers: Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz.
