Taylor Swift paid tribute to boyfriend Travis Kelce by wearing his NFL team’s colors during her Eras Tour stop in Paris, France, on Sunday, May 12.

During the 1989 portion of her sold-out concert, Swift, 34, sported Kansas City Chiefs hues with a gold crop top and a red skirt.

She performed various tunes from her fan-favorite LP during the segment, including “Blank Space,” “Shake It Off,” and “Bad Blood.”

Swift and Kelce, also 34, first sparked dating rumors in September 2023. Since then, they have both cheered each other on within their respective careers, and the NFL star has attended a handful of the pop star’s shows across the globe in recent months.

During the weekend show at the Paris La Défense Arena on Sunday, which marked Swift’s fourth and final night there, Kelce cheered her on from the crowd and was joined by Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid.

Swift noted that the show was her 87th concert on the Eras Tour, which is notable given that Kelce’s jersey number is 87.

The singer performed her new song about Kelce — “So High School” — for the first time in front of him on tour, as well as “The Alchemy,” which has football puns.

Following her final concert in Paris, Swift shared a post on social media in which she discussed adding her latest album — The Tortured Poets Department — to the tour.

“This post is dedicated to the new Tortured Poets section of the Eras Tour (aka Female Rage The Musical!) and everyone who made these memories so magical,” Swift wrote in her caption.

“To my crew, fellow performers, and band who worked tirelessly in their break to concoct this surprise for you — but mostly for the fans in Paris. I’m so thankful that it was you we got to show this to for the first time because you gave us so much excitement, passion, and love,” she continued, referencing the nearly two-month break that was taken in between shows.

“I’m SO fired up to play this for every crowd on the tour. See you very soon, Stockholm! 🤍,” Swift concluded.

The singer, 34, revealed during her second show in Paris on Friday, May 10, that she “started planning this surprise” TTPD chapter of her concert “eight or nine months ago,” ahead of the album’s release in April.

In a video posted on TikTok from the show at the París La Défense Arena in Frances, Swift told fans, “So Paris is the very first city to ever see the new TTPD chapter of the Eras tour,” as the sold-out crowd cheered.

“I have to tell you, it has been so rewarding playing it for you because we started planning this surprise for you about eight or nine months ago,” she continued. “And then when we got two months off of the Eras tour, we really didn’t take any time off at all, we just went directly back into rehearsal.”

“So I’d like to give it up for my crew, my dancers, my band, my backing vocals, everyone who did that,” Swift added, applauding her crew along with fans.

The moment was also captured and shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Variety on May 10.

 

The “Fortnight” singer then went into the acoustic section of the show, where she typically plays two surprise songs not on the setlist, as she performed two songs in addition to the setlist, including a mashup of her 2014 hits “Is It Over Now?” and “Out Of The Woods” and “My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys,” from her new album TTPD.

Swift kicked off the European leg of her Eras tour in Paris at the París La Défense Arena in France on Thursday, May 9. She is playing four shows in the city.

So far, the singer has made several changes to the show to incorporate her latest album TTPD, after its release on April 19. These include a tweak in the intro as Swift is seen in an additional clip singing the title track of TTPD, while naming all of her albums. Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes subscribes to the notion that there is a great woman behind every great man.

 

 

The 27-year-old athlete credited his spouse, Brittany, with helping him achieve success both personally and professionally. “I have a great wife. I think that helps out a ton,” Mahomes told People at the premiere of his new Netflix documentary series, “Quarterback.”

“She helps me out a ton by taking stuff off my plate,” he said. “I have great people around me and I can be Patrick Mahomes. I can be myself, the same person I’ve grown up being — and luckily that’s won a couple of Super Bowls.”

The couple married in July 2022 and share a daughter, Sterling Skye, 2, and a son, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, who is eight months old. He and Brittany met as high schoolers in Texas and went to the prom together in 2013.

After college, Mahomes was a first-round selection in the 2017 NFL draft. Brittany is also a pro athlete and was signed to play soccer with a professional team in Iceland.

The NFL star told People magazine he’s trying hard to set a good example for his children. Mahomes said he hopes they know “that when dad’s not home, he’s out there working hard to achieve his dream.”

“I don’t know what my kids’ dreams are going to be, but I want them to work hard at it and try to achieve those,” he said. “Now they’re too young now to understand, but when they see this as they get older, I want them to know that they can go out there and chase their dreams and still have a great family at home.”

Brittany was equally complimentary toward her husband. “He has a soft spot, but I think he’s done such an amazing job at balancing his work life and his at-home life, and I think he’s really switched around his priorities and figured it out,” she told People. She also called her husband “the best father ever.”

The docuseries “Quarterback” premieres July 12 on Netflix. It follows Mahomes and players Kirk Cousins and Marcus Mariota as they provide inside access into their lives as NFL quarterbacks.
