The rapper, whose real name is Shawn Carter, was accused in a lawsuit of raping a 13-year-old girl at a party after the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards with Combs.

Jay-Z would “deploy any tactic necessary” to defend himself against allegations that he raped a 13-year-old girl at a party that he attended with Sean “Diddy” Combs—including throw the disgraced music mogul “under the bus,” according to a report.

The rapper, whose real name is Shawn Carter, “has zero loyalty to Diddy” in the wake of a civil lawsuit filed against him about an encounter at a 2000 MTV Video Music Awards, a source told the Daily Mail.

“Jay-Z would absolutely throw Diddy under the bus if that is what it took to clear his name and walk away from this,” the source said to the outlet.

The insider also claimed that Carter, 55, has distanced himself from Diddy since he was arrested on federal charges for sex trafficking and racketeering.

“The moment Diddy was arrested, Jay-Z scrubbed him from his existence,” the source said.

“The only thing that he cares about is him never stepping foot inside a jail cell and his family being safe. Jay-Z is extremely powerful and will deploy any tactic necessary,” the source added.

The insider also claimed that Carter was “appalled” by footage leaked earlier this year that showed Combs attacking his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.

“The video was a deciding factor for Jay when announcing that he and Diddy weren’t close,” the source said.

The bombshell allegations against Carter were revealed earlier this month when his name was added to one of several lawsuits filed over the last year against Combs.

Carter, 55, has called the allegations “idiotic” and vowed not to give the accuser, who has not been identified, “ONE RED PENNY.”

His lawyers have seized on an interview that aired on NBC News with the alleged victim, claiming that her recollection of events reveals “factual inconsistencies” and “timeline impossibilities.”

Carter has also attacked the accuser’s lawyer, Tony Buzbee, who has filed multiple lawsuits for the alleged victims of Combs.

“This lawyer, who I have done a bit of research on, seems to have a pattern of these types of theatrics,” Carter said.

The source told the Daily Mail, “He is going after Buzbee for himself and not for anyone else.”

“Any notion that Jay is trying to help Diddy by going after Tony Buzbee is false. He doesn’t care about Diddy,” the source said.

Combs has denied all allegations against him.

Another source told the Daily Mail that Combs is “very happy that he isn’t fighting everything alone.”

“Diddy does enjoy that Jay is fighting against the same person that is accusing him of doing any wrongdoing,’ the insider told the outlet. ”Because if Jay succeeds, it will help Diddy tenfold.”

Luigi Mangione isn’t the only high-profile prisoner on his cell block.

After the 26-year-old was extradited from Pennsylvania last week—complete with a Man of Steel-level perp walk—he was transported to the infamous Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. The federal prison also currently houses disgraced music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, as well as famous fraudster Sam Bankman-Fried.

Mangione was arrested on Dec. 9 after allegedly killing UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. Thompson was fatally shot in the early hours of Wednesday, Dec. 4, outside the New York Hilton Midtown in Manhattan.

A days-long manhunt ultimately led to Mangione’s arrest at a McDonalds in Altoona, Pennsylvania. He is currently facing both federal and state charges in the alleged murder.

The Manhattan District Attorney’s office has charged Mangione with one count of first-degree murder, two counts of second-degree murder, and weapons crimes. Meanwhile, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York has charged him with one count of murder, two counts of stalking, and a firearms offense.

The maximum punishment for the state charges is life in prison without parole. If convicted on the federal charges—which include a terrorism-related offense—Mangione could face the death penalty.

Diddy is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center as he awaits trial on federal charges of racketeering, sex trafficking by force, and transportation for purposes of prostitution.

In an October 2024 press conference, Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee said he would be representing over 100 accusers in a slew of assault allegations spanning over 20 years.

According to Buzbee, the group “is evenly divided between males and females.” One of the alleged victims was only nine at the time of her incident. In fact, the lawyer said 25 of the 120 accusers were minors at the time of the alleged assaults.

50 Cent has just about seen it all in the rap game, and he’s never one to mince words when it comes to giving his thoughts on just about everything going on.

Last week, Lil Baby shocked fans when he admitted on Lil Yachty’s A Safe Place podcast that he lost about $8 million in just over a day of gambling, which caused him to go cold turkey and quit playing the odds completely.

“Nah these young [ninja emoji] crazy 8 million Gambling. I thought only Floyd [Mayweather] do s–t like that,” 50 captioned a clip of the interview in an Instagram post on Sunday (Dec. 22) while taking a jab at the boxing legend known for making big bets. “LOL come out the joint looking distraught. I’m just glad he didn’t kill no body.”

50 added in his own comments section: “Come on he said 1 day, because he lost it in 1 shot.”

After the disastrous casino run, that was the final straw for Lil Baby, who told his friend and Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin to call the casinos he used to frequent and ban him from ever being able to play again.

“Like one day, probably like 40 hours straight, I lost like $8 million, $9 million. I made myself stop gambling,” Baby said on the podcast. “I had Mike Rubin write a letter to every casino and ban me from the casino. I just do s–t. I don’t gamble no more.”

With the vice of gambling out of the picture, Lil Baby is locked in on having a major comeback on the music front in 2025.
