Taylor Swift nowhere to be seen as Travis Kelce parties in Las Vegas with DJ Kygo… after it was reported that a little misunderstanding happened between the couple regarding the server at Patrick Mahomes Met Gala earlier that evening

Travis Kelce partied the night away at a Las Vegas club on Saturday – but there was no sign of girlfriend Taylor Swift.

Just hours after the couple attended Patrick Mahomes‘ charity auction event together, Kelce headed to the packed XS Nightclub to join Norwegian DJ Kygo behind the decks at his Vegas party, with Swift nowhere to be seen on the night.

In a selection of photos and videos shared by Kygo, the Chiefs star can be seen taking the microphone to ramp up the crowd at the event, before waving a t-shirt in the air and jumping up and down to the music.

Travis also posed for a photo alongside the music producer and his manager Myles Shear while living it up at the Wynn Hotel’s famous nightclub.

Earlier in the evening, Kelce named Swift as his ‘significant other’ while auctioning four tickets to her Eras Tour at Mahomes’ charity event.

‘I think, um, I was just talking to my significant other,’ he said at The 15 and Mahomes Foundation Golf Classic gala in Vegas on Saturday. ‘We might have one other auction item that wasn’t on the docket.’

Swift and Kelce were on hand as guests of Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, who was ripped by one insider for allegedly putting on a front with the songstress.

The Chiefs quarterback’s wife became a close pal of Swift’s this past NFL season and even hung out with her high-profile girl squad in New York on previous occasions. What’s more is that Brittany and Swift have gone to multiple Chiefs games together.

‘[Brittany] has too many red flags and people are starting to see through her fake and bitchy persona,’ one inside source told DailyMail.com. ‘She is an opportunist who is clearly not a girl’s girl.’

In a video shared on X, Swift could be seen waving a napkin from her chair at the gala while Kelce and auctioneer Harry Santa began auctioning off the tickets.

Santa then said to Kelce, as the camera focused on the pair: ‘Who would actually pay hundreds of thousands just to know Taylor Swift is actually cheering you on as you’re winning 4 of her tickets – this is insane! Let’s go!’

Kelce laughed in response, as he waved a napkin, just like his ‘significant other.’

He also yelled ‘Let’s go baby!’ at one point, as tickets for Swift’s shows eventually sold for a mouthwatering $80,000, as indicated on Santa’s Instagram Story.

Earlier in the evening, Kelce and Swift were seen arriving at the event together in a video shared on X by another gala attendee. The pair held hands while making their way past guests to join the Mahomes at a table.

The couple were described as ‘super adorable’ and ‘down to earth’ by the attendee in the caption of her footage.

‘NBD. Just T Swift and her man Travis Kelce,’ they wrote over the video.

‘And they are super adorable together. So down to earth & Kind … Just super cool badass human beings.’

Just 24 hours before the gala on Friday, Kelce and Swift, who released her new album The Tortured Poets Department on April 19, were spotted on a double dated with the Mahomes at Easy’s Cocktail Lounge inside the ARIA Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip.

For someone else at another celebrity’s charity event, chugging beer out of a golf trophy could be considered a faux pas.

For Travis Kelce at his Kansas City Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes‘ charity event in Las Vegas this weekend, well things were a bit more relaxed.

The All-Pro tight end dutifully downed his drink alongside another attendee in what appeared to be a crystal bowl given to tournament participants.

But, perhaps because he’s been celebrating his third Super Bowl win for nearly three months, the experience almost proved to be too much for Kelce. As his friend was being splashed with a the bottom end of his beer, Kelce finished his only to bend over at the waist and rest both hands on his knees in exhaustion.

For Kelce, it was the end of a long weekend in Las Vegas, where he was seen hanging with a Norwegian DJ named Kygo at one the city’s many clubs. Kelce and Taylor Swift also helped raise money for 15 And the Mahomesa foundation aimed at supporting the lives of children.

All in all, a busy weekend for Kelce, who doesn’t have to attend any offseason team activities until May 20 at the earliest – and that’s technically optional.

The Kansas City Chiefs announced Monday they signed tight end Travis Kelce to a new contract.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport first reported on the deal and colleague Tom Pelissero followed up to add Kelce will make $34.3 million over the two-year term.

He becomes the NFL’s highest-paid tight end, a title that belonged to the New York Giants’ Darren Waller ($17 million).

Teammate Patrick Mahomes reacted to the news on social media:

Kelce hasn’t openly flirted with retirement, but a number of factors pointed to how he could walk away sooner rather than later.

The wear and tear is beginning to show a bit with the nine-time Pro Bowler. His 65.6 receiving yards per game were his fewest since 2015 and he set a career low in yards per reception (10.6). He also missed Kansas City’s opener thanks to a knee injury and was rested in the season finale while dealing with a neck issue.

The 34-year-old gave a candid interview to J.R. Moehringer of WSJ. Magazine in November and admitted he ponders retirement “more than anyone could ever imagine.”

“The discomfort. The pain. The lingering injuries—the 10 surgeries I’ve had that I still feel every single surgery to this day,” he said when laying out the physical toll.

Beyond having achieved everything he can on the field, Kelce has become a major star off it thanks to the popularity of his New Heights podcast with brother Jason and his relationship with Taylor Swift. He knows he’s set up nicely for a second career when he’s done in the NFL.

The future Hall of Famer was never going to retire after the Chiefs successfully defended their Super Bowl championship. He wasted no time in saying he’d be back for a three-peat bid.

Before agreeing to an extension, an exit in 2025 at least looked like a plausible possibility. Instead, Kelce is making it abundantly clear he wants to stick around well beyond that.

That’s great news for the Chiefs, who continued to lean on their tight end as their No. 1 option in the passing game. His 93 receptions and 984 yards were both the highest on the team.

By adding wide receivers Marquise Brown and Xavier Worthy in the offseason, Kansas City might be able to give him a bit of a break in 2024.

The three-time Super Bowl champion, who reached an agreement on a two-year contract extension with the Chiefs Monday, shared an emotional video confirming the news.

‘Chiefs forever,’ he said in the clip, which was posted to X.

‘Back at it again, baby. Had to see a little Super Bowl right here man,’ he went on, pointing to his Super Bowl LVIII hat.

‘Feels good to be in KC. I remember coming here 12 years ago, man. It’s an honor and a pleasure and I can’t wait to get after it these next two years. No better than right now. Getting fired up for this year. Just got out on the field with the boys, we’re back at it baby.’

The deal will reportedly make Kelce the highest paid tight end in the league.

The Athletic’s Nate Taylor claimed his new average annual salary is $17.1million, eclipsing that of New York Giants tight end Darren Waller, who earns $17million annually.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs tweeted, ‘We signed the greatest tight end ever to a new contract.’

Kelce’s pal, quarterback Patrick Mahomes, also shared the team’s enthusiasm.

‘I told yall I’ll never let him leave!! Congrats my guy! @tkelce,’ he wrote on X.

The ‘New Heights’ podcast host, who has taken home more than $89million throughout 11 seasons with the Chiefs, said he was flirting with the idea of retirement in November.

‘That’s the only thing I’ve never really been open about, the discomfort,’ Travis told his podcast co-host, brother Jason Kelce, late last year.

‘They take a toll. I was unfortunate I got the knee surgery but fortunate I haven’t had any problems with that situation since then.’

Kelce, who has been dating Taylor Swift since last summer, underwent surgery to repair his ailing knee in 2013 and another on his shoulder in 2017.

I don’t think Taylor’s schedule is that bad, it’s basically just 3 weeks of touring with him being off 1 of those weeks, she’ll fly home in between, if they can’t handle that then what’s the point of all this.

Then she’s off until he’s done, she could even in theory make the Super Bowl if the Chiefs get that far despite being in Japan the night before. They are two secure midish-thirties adults with careers. They probably don’t need to be around each other all of the time, although I am sure it feels good to do so right now.

Some of the attention will die down eventually. It’s just a really nice love story in a time when there’s a lot of bad stuff in the media. I’ve seen people talk about how it almost makes them feel patriotic. You can’t get much more of a quintessential American romance than the football legend and the pop star, both with strong families, both self-made, both hotter than hell and into each other, treating each other with an almost old school sweetness in public.

It’s Joe DiMaggio and Marilyn Monroe. Its the American David and Victoria Beckham. It’s being idealized to an extreme, I’m sure. New love can be a beautiful, intoxicating thing, even for people just witnessing it.

They look happy. I hope they enjoy it and it works out. I don’t know enough about Swift to know if she is acting different than normal, but I’ve seen a different Kelce over the last few months.

  • Discover the untold tale of Jason Kelce’s jersey number 62 and its rise to iconic status in football history

Discover the untold tale of Jason Kelce’s jersey number 62 and its rise to iconic status in football history

ason Kelce: Making Number 62 Iconic

Jason Kelce has become much more than just a star center for the Philadelphia Eagles – he has transcended the gridiron to become a true cultural icon in Philadelphia. Through his on-field dominance, infectious personality, and genuine love for the city, Kelce has cemented himself as one of the most beloved athletes in Philadelphia sports history. But what exactly is it about Kelce that has made his jersey number, 62, take on an iconic status of its own? Let’s take a deeper look at Kelce’s journey and how he has come to represent so much more than just a number on the back of his jersey.

Kelce was far from a can’t-miss prospect coming out of college. As a three-year starter at the University of Cincinnati, Kelce established himself as a talented yet undersized center at just 6’3″. Still, his skills and football IQ were evident on tape. However, size concerns caused Kelce to drop all the way to the sixth round of the 2011 NFL Draft, where the Eagles selected him with pick 191 overall. Many viewed Kelce as nothing more than a developmental project – someone who may provide depth but had little chance of becoming a long-term starter in the NFL.

But Kelce was never one to back down from a challenge. He worked tirelessly to prove the doubters wrong, pushing himself to excel in both the mental and physical aspects of the game. Kelce quickly claimed the starting center job as a rookie in 2011 and never looked back, starting every game for the Eagles over the next 11 seasons. Through pure grit, determination, and football smarts, Kelce established himself as one of the elite centers in the entire league, earning a Pro Bowl selection in each of the past four seasons from 2018-2021. Kelce’s improbable rise from overlooked sixth-round pick to perennial All-Pro is the stuff of sports movies. His underdog story resonates deeply with Philadelphians, who see themselves in Kelce’s journey of beating the odds through hard work and dedication.

Kelce’s leadership on the field is unparalleled. As the emotional core and unquestioned leader of the Eagles’ stellar offensive line, Kelce is constantly motivating his teammates, celebrating their successes, and keeping everyone accountable. His fiery passion is contagious – you can see it in his eyes and body language on every snap. Eagles fans have adopted that passion as their own, feeding off Kelce’s emotional energy on game days. His leadership sets the tone not just for the offensive line, but for the entire team. Kelce leaves it all out on the field, playing through injuries and giving maximum effort on every single play. That level of dedication inspires greatness in those around him.

Off the field, Kelce has fully embraced everything that Philadelphia is about. While some athletes keep the city at an arm’s length, Kelce has fully immersed himself in local culture. He’s a regular at Philadelphia Flyers, Phillies, and Union games, always cheering on the hometown teams. Kelce interacts frequently with fans on social media, showing his appreciation for their support. He’s even participated in the city’s famous Mummers Parade, a true Philly tradition. Kelce has also become the face of several local charities and community initiatives. Through it all, Kelce has proven himself a true Philadelphian – someone who bleeds green and understands what makes this city tick. Fans see Kelce as one of their own, a hometown hero they can relate to on and off the gridiron.

Kelce’s fame extends beyond Philadelphia thanks to his brother Travis, a star tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs. The “Kelce Brothers” dynamic has become must-watch television whenever the Eagles and Chiefs meet on the schedule. Their on-field battles and hilarious antics are a subplot NFL fans look forward to. Off the field, their podcast “New Heights” gives a behind-the-scenes look at their brotherly bond. It’s one of the most popular football podcasts, showing a more personal side of the Kelle brothers. Their brotherly rivalry and close relationship has added another layer to Jason’s story, increasing his national profile beyond just Eagles fandom.

Of course, Kelce’s iconic status in Philadelphia was cemented with his now legendary Super Bowl parade speech in 2018. After hoisting the Lombardi Trophy, an emotional and intoxicated Kelce took the microphone. In a profanity-laced declaration of love for Philadelphia, Kelce perfectly captured the city’s relentless underdog spirit and unwavering support of its sports teams. His speech immediately went viral worldwide. To this day, Eagles fans chant “It’s a Philly thing, you wouldn’t understand!” at games and events. That one speech, more than anything else, solidified Kelce’s place in Philadelphia sports lore for generations to come.

But Kelce’s impact and popularity extends far beyond just football. He’s parlayed his fame into several entertainment ventures that have expanded his profile across multiple platforms. Kelce hosted a sports comedy special for truTV and appeared in the 2020 film “80 for Brady” alongside stars like Lily Tomlin and Rita Moreno. On his podcast, Kelce shows his witty and down-to-earth personality. He’s proven himself a natural entertainer both on and off the field. Kelce also leverages his platform to advocate for causes like better health benefits and protections for NFL players. In everything he does, Kelce represents the city of Philadelphia with class, humor, and grace.

After 11 seasons anchoring the Eagles’ offensive line, Kelce is now in the twilight of his career at age 34. But through his dedication to excellence on the field, infectious leadership in the locker room, and genuine love for Philadelphia, Kelce’s legacy will live on forever in the city. Number 62 has become synonymous with grit, determination, passion, and pride – everything Philadelphians hold dear. Future generations of Eagles fans will look to Kelce as the embodiment of what it means to truly represent this city. His story is the stuff of sports legends – an underdog who fought against all odds to not only succeed at football’s highest level, but also to achieve icon status in one of America’s toughest sports towns. Jason Kelce didn’t just make number 62 his own – he made it iconic.

In the end, Kelce’s journey from overlooked sixth-round pick to Philadelphia sports icon is a testament to his relentless work ethic, unmatched leadership, and genuine love for this city. Through pure determination, Kelce ascended from project to perennial All-Pro. And through his infectious energy, Kelce brought an entire city together. Number 62 will forever symbolize Philadelphia values of grit, brotherhood, and unwavering support. Jason Kelce didn’t just represent his number – he defined it. And in the process, he cemented his status as not just an all-time great Eagle, but as one of the most beloved athletes to ever wear Philadelphia across his chest.

Discover the secrets behind Jason Kelce’s success as a center and how he revolutionized the position

Jason Kelce Redefines the Center Position

Traditionally, the center position in the NFL was seen as the anchor of the offensive line – a role player responsible for snapping the ball and holding down the interior of the line of scrimmage. While important, centers were not typically viewed as athletic playmakers. Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce has changed that perception, redefining what is expected from the position in today’s NFL through his elite mobility, athleticism, and impact on offensive scheme.

When Kelce entered the league as a sixth round pick out of Cincinnati in 2011, he brought a new level of athleticism to the center position that had not been seen before. At 6’3 and 295 pounds, Kelce was undersized for an NFL center by traditional standards. However, what he lacked in size he more than made up for with his quickness, agility, and mobility. Unlike most centers of the past who were more plodding blockers content to hold their ground near the line of scrimmage, Kelce showed the ability to get out in space and make blocks far down the field.

Kelce’s impressive athletic testing numbers at the NFL Combine highlighted his rare movement skills for an interior lineman. He ran the 40-yard dash in 5.11 seconds and had a short shuttle time of 4.58 seconds, both excellent results that placed him among the most athletic offensive linemen that year. His mobility and quick feet allowed Kelce to block effectively in space on screen passes and option plays, a valuable asset for an offense looking to incorporate more movement and deception into their blocking schemes.

When Kelce entered the NFL, the league was already starting to shift towards prioritizing athleticism and movement across the offensive line. Spread concepts and zone blocking schemes that relied on linemen blocking in space were becoming more prevalent. However, Kelce took it to another level by bringing this new style of play to the center position, which had traditionally been the most stationary role on the offensive line.

His rare athletic gifts for the position allowed Eagles offensive coordinator Chip Kelly, who was at the forefront of innovative schemes utilizing pre-snap motion and misdirection, to fully unlock his playbook. Kelly could design plays that took advantage of Kelce’s mobility, having him pull from his center position or block on the perimeter far away from the line of scrimmage. This opened up opportunities for big plays that defenses weren’t accustomed to defending against from the center.

Kelce’s impact was immediately felt. As a rookie, he started all 16 games and helped pave the way for an Eagles rushing attack that led the NFL with 160.4 yards per game on the ground. His mobility and athleticism in the screen game was also on display, as he consistently made blocks 20 or more yards downfield. Kelce showed he could be the type of center who was just as effective blocking in space as he was along the interior of the line.

In the years since, Kelce has cemented his status as one of the best centers in the NFL thanks to his unique blend of strength, quickness, and football IQ. He has made the Pro Bowl in four of the last five seasons while anchoring the Eagles offensive line. But more importantly, he has changed expectations for what the center position can be in today’s NFL through his rare athletic traits and the scheme versatility they provide.

Where centers were once primarily asked to hold their ground and protect the interior of the pocket, Kelce showed they could be full-fledged playmakers. His ability and willingness to get out in space on screens, pulls, and downfield blocks transformed the role. No longer were centers limited to a stationary, one-dimensional role – they could impact the game in all areas of the field using their athleticism.

Kelce’s success with the Eagles directly led other teams to prioritize similar traits when evaluating centers both in the draft and free agency. His prototype of an undersized but incredibly mobile and agile interior blocker became the new standard at the position. Centers were now expected to move well laterally and in open space, not just anchor the line in pass protection.

Teams looked to draft centers with testing numbers and movement skills comparable to what Kelce brought. Players like Frank Ragnow of the Detroit Lions (40-yard dash time of 5.06 seconds at the Combine), Garrett Bradbury of the Minnesota Vikings (4.92 40, 7.25 3-cone drill), and Creed Humphrey of the Kansas City Chiefs (4.98 40, 7.41 3-cone) have all thrived early in their careers due in large part to their athletic traits that allow them to impact the game in the mold of Kelce.

Free agent centers were also prioritized if they fit this new prototype. Players like Corey Linsley of the Los Angeles Chargers (5.00 40 at his Pro Day), who signed a lucrative free agent deal in 2021, and Ryan Jensen of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5.21 40, 4.53 short shuttle) have been paid top dollar based on their athleticism and movement skills translating well to the evolving NFL game.

The success of the Eagles’ rushing attacks during Kelce’s tenure in Philadelphia further reinforced that this new athletic, mobile style was optimal for offensive line play in the modern NFL. From 2013-2020 under Kelce, the Eagles finished in the top 10 in rushing yards per game five times. They led the league twice during that span.

With Kelce as the catalyst, the Eagles established a physical, punishing ground attack built on misdirection and pulling linemen that wore opponents down. This allowed their play-action passing game, which he also excelled at selling with his movement pre-snap, to thrive off of stacked boxes. The Eagles made the playoffs six times in eight years using this rushing-oriented, athletic offensive line-centric system.

Other teams took notice and began following Philadelphia’s blueprint of prioritizing athletic, mobile offensive linemen who could execute zone blocking schemes and impact the game in space. The era of the plodding, stationary center had come to an end. Jason Kelce, through his unique skillset, showed that at the center position speed kills and athleticism rules the day in today’s NFL.

Nearly a decade into his career, Kelce remains one of the best centers in football at age 34 thanks to his continued high-level play. He is a constant on one of the league’s top offensive lines and a driving force behind Philadelphia’s continued rushing success. But perhaps Kelce’s greatest impact has been permanently changing expectations for what the center position demands through his trailblazing style of play.

In redefining the role, Kelce opened up opportunities for offensive coordinators to maximize their schemes. He proved centers could be versatile weapons, not just anchors. And he established the prototype for the modern NFL center – undersized but with rare athletic gifts that allow them to impact the game from sideline to sideline. Jason Kelce didn’t just have a great NFL career at center – he revolutionized how the position is viewed and played at the game’s highest level.
