Donna Kelce is spilling the tea on her Mother’s Day memories!

In an appearance on the Today show on April 29, Travis and Jason Kelce’s mom shared that it’s unusual for her to share the special day with her sons.

“I’m very rarely in the same place as they are on Mother’s Day because it’s their offseason,” Donna told hosts Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb. “So they’re out. They’re off and running and doing their own thing.”

Donna added, “But that’s okay, I have so many blessings, I don’t even care.”

“Always sports-related,” Donna said, after Guthrie asked if she had any particular memories revolving around the celebratory day. “Spending time with the mothers, having maybe a drink at a baseball game in a Solo cup.”

While Donna has toasted the day in her own way, her nurturing qualities have never been lost on the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and the retired Philadelphia Eagles center.

Speaking to PEOPLE earlier this year, she also shared that she is enjoying cheering her sons on, while the family is in the spotlight.

Having both been in the NFL for over a decade and now with Travis and Jason having several off-field interests that bring in money, let’s take a look at their combined net worth.

Later on in the evening, Kelce got up on stage and surprised guests by announcing that his “significant other” was adding some tickets to her Eras Tour concerts as part of the live auction, per an Instagram Story shared by Sophia Romano.

“Alright, alright, alright, I think I was just talking to my significant other, and we might have one other alternate item that wasn’t on the docket. Um, has anybody heard of the Eras Tour?” he teased into the microphone while the crowd cheered.

The Super Bowl champion announced that his “significant other” was giving away four tickets.

“Does that fire anybody up right now?!” he screamed while the attendees shouted and applauded.

The tight end then revealed that Swift had offered to auction up “four tickets” to shows in New Orleans, Miami or Indianapolis when her record-breaking tour returns to the United States in the fall.

Of course, it didn’t take long for people to start bidding on the highly coveted tickets, and in a video posted by Romano, Kelce and the live auctioneer jumped off stage and started taking people’s bids of $20,000 and $30,000

The Grammy winner and the Super Bowl champion each got dolled up for the special night. Kelce looked dapper in a matching navy suit with a white button-down underneath.

Meanwhile, Swift stunned in an emerald green gown with spaghetti straps and cutouts in the back. She added a gold linked choker necklace and matching gold clutch.

Since TMZ revealed on Saturday that the power couple went on a double date with Patrick and Brittany at Easy’s Cocktail Lounge inside the Aria Resort & Casino, it is believed that the couple arrived in Sin City earlier in the weekend.

Less than two weeks remain before Swift resumes her Eras Tour in Paris on May 9—the date of her Vegas appearance. Kelce had already declared his attendance.

Us Weekly claims that although Swift’s relationship with Kelce has grown more serious, she is reportedly “sad” and conflicted about going back on tour.

Faith leads are out on Taylor Swift‘s Tortured Poets Department as they claim the superstar has crossed the line going from secular to anti-Christian with many of the lyrics off her latest release.

Religious critics of Swift’s much-hyped record say the songstress’s writing implies that Christians are hateful, judgmental, vindictive people.

Shane Pruitt of the Southern Baptist Convention’s North American Mission Board pointed to specific lyrics he found objectionable.

In the song ‘But Daddy I Love Him,’ for instance, Swift croons: ‘But daddy I love him / I just learned these people only raise you / To cage you / Sarahs and Hannahs in their Sunday best / Clutchin’ their pearls, sighing, ‘What a mess’ / I just learned these people try and save you ‘Cause they hate you.’

She goes on to sing: ‘God save the most judgmental creeps,’ the same people she claims ‘Sanctimoniously perform soliloquies.’

‘You ain’t gotta pray for me,’ she goes on.

Some Christian faith leaders have turned away from Taylor Swift’s new album, claiming it is blasphemous and makes a mockery of their faith

In another song, ‘Guilty As Sin,’ the billionaire pop princess sings: ‘What if I roll the stone away? / They’re gonna crucify me anyway / What if the way you hold me is actually what’s holy.’

Many of the songs are also tagged with ‘E’ for explicit, making them arguably less than appropriate for a young Christian audience.

Pruitt, who is the National Next Gen director for the SBC’s board wrote about the line he feels Swift has crossed with her latest work:

‘I’m definitely not the minister or parent that has the ‘no secular music’ stance. Also, I fully realize unbelievers are going to act like unbelievers. HOWEVER, there is a difference between being secular and being ANTI-CHRISTIAN,’ he wrote.

He added that he has historically been a Swift listener but thinks it may now be ‘time to reconsider.’

‘As Christians, who are filled with the Spirit, should we be entertained by, sing with, and expose our kids to lyrics that aren’t just different than what you believe, but are actually mocking what you believe?’ he questioned.

Pruitt is not the only faithful entertainment consumer who found massive flaw with Swift’s latest offering.

MovieGuide, a Christian entertainment review company declares that Tortured Poets Department ‘mocks Christianity.’

‘While it’s no secret that Taylor Swift is not a Christian, she made her hatred for religion known through her newly released album ‘The Tortured Poets Department,” reads the MovieGuide review.

‘The album is full of minor quips that elevate Swift above God while also featuring two songs devoted to tearing down the Christian sexual ethic.’

Then the review got personal.

‘The fact that one of the most popular and famous celebrities of her generation cannot find happiness reveals that living in the world leads to death while living for Christ and under his teachings leads to life.

Swift’s album, which arrived with a surprise extra 15 songs 10 days ago, has been adored by her fans and some critics alike, but not received uniformly well, with some claiming the hitmaker’s rushed double album lacks creativity and showcases immaturity as an artist.

One review from Paste Magazine, which removed the writer’s name from the article due to the all-but-certain threat of deranged hostility from Swift’s fan militia, said Swift has been unable to stop herself from creatively ‘infantiliz(ng) the very people who buy into her music and drive her successes upwards in the first place.’

The unnamed author claims The Tortured Poets Department’s eponymous track ‘featured some of Swift’s worse lyricism to date.’

The author went on to ponder whether Swift, a freshly named Forbes billionaire, is still capable of experiencing ‘torture’ of the sort she writes about in this album.

‘If Swift can return to one of her dozen beach houses across the world, kick up her feet and say “I’m a poet of struggle,” then who is to say that millions – maybe billions – of people with access to a notes app and a social media account won’t dream that dream, too?’ read the review.

The Tortured Poets Department was, however, an immediate hit with consumers. The album’s first single, Fortnight, featuring Post Malone also shattered several records.

On Sunday, Billboard announced Swift’s album debuted at No. 1 atop the Billboard 200 marked her 14th No. 1 album, tying her for the most among solo performers. TTPD also received the most ever amount of streams in a week for an album.

The Kansas City Chiefs announced Monday they signed tight end Travis Kelce to a new contract.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport first reported on the deal and colleague Tom Pelissero followed up to add Kelce will make $34.3 million over the two-year term.

He becomes the NFL’s highest-paid tight end, a title that belonged to the New York Giants’ Darren Waller ($17 million).

Kelce hasn’t openly flirted with retirement, but a number of factors pointed to how he could walk away sooner rather than later.

The wear and tear is beginning to show a bit with the nine-time Pro Bowler. His 65.6 receiving yards per game were his fewest since 2015 and he set a career low in yards per reception (10.6). He also missed Kansas City’s opener thanks to a knee injury and was rested in the season finale while dealing with a neck issue.

The 34-year-old gave a candid interview to J.R. Moehringer of WSJ. Magazine in November and admitted he ponders retirement “more than anyone could ever imagine.”

“The discomfort. The pain. The lingering injuries—the 10 surgeries I’ve had that I still feel every single surgery to this day,” he said when laying out the physical toll.

Beyond having achieved everything he can on the field, Kelce has become a major star off it thanks to the popularity of his New Heights podcast with brother Jason and his relationship with Taylor Swift. He knows he’s set up nicely for a second career when he’s done in the NFL.

The future Hall of Famer was never going to retire after the Chiefs successfully defended their Super Bowl championship. He wasted no time in saying he’d be back for a three-peat bid.

Before agreeing to an extension, an exit in 2025 at least looked like a plausible possibility. Instead, Kelce is making it abundantly clear he wants to stick around well beyond that.

That’s great news for the Chiefs, who continued to lean on their tight end as their No. 1 option in the passing game. His 93 receptions and 984 yards were both the highest on the team.

By adding wide receivers Marquise Brown and Xavier Worthy in the offseason, Kansas City might be able to give him a bit of a break in 2024.
