“I think it’s more a question of confidence,” Swift, 19 at the time, told Glamour.

“I wouldn’t want to be with a pushover who would let me make all the plans and have all the control,” she continued. “It’s really natural for me to go into planning mode, but I’d rather be with someone who has his own voice and passion and ambition.”

Kelce, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, is arguably the farthest thing from a pushover, since his job involves regularly blocking tackles for his quarterback. As for having his own voice ― well, Kelce does host a weekly podcast with his brother.

Taylor Swift’s lead guitarist has welcomed a new Swiftie into his family.

 

 

 

Paul Sidoti took to social media to announce that he and wife Ashley welcomed a son, Samuel Paul, on March 12.

Paul has been the lead guitarist and background vocalist for the Grammy winning artist since December 2007.

He recently posted an adorable photo of the newborn to his Instagram, writing: ‘This morning, we welcomed our little miracle Sammy Sidoti into the world. Our prayers were answered and mommy and baby are doing great. Big sister Scarlett is over the moon having a baby brother. All my love to @ashsidoti.’

Fans were quick to share their congratulations and even praised Swift for ‘planning’ the Eras tour around the expectant baby.

‘I love that she planned the tour around the due date preemptively,’ one fan wrote.

During an appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” Wednesday, the Kansas City Chiefs star agreed with host Pat McAfee that a lot of people are starting to realize his relationship with Swift is actually the real deal.

“At the beginning a lot of football people just thought it was fake,” McAfee explained. “Now I think people can’t help but realize that Travis is phenomenal at football — this guy is everything that we like in a football player — and he is in love!”

“It’s a beautiful thing, isn’t it?” Kelce, 34, replied, noting that he and Swift, also 34, “are just two people in a relationship supporting each other and having fun with it.”

Although Kelce only hinted at his love for Swift on the radio show, the couple was caught exchanging “I love you’s” following the Chiefs triumphant win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.

Swift and Chiefs tight end Kelce, both 34, have been dating since summer 2023. They took their romance public the following September when she attended her first Chiefs game. Clad in team gear, Swift cheered on Kelce from a private box next to his mother, Donna. The Grammy winner has since been a fixture at his regular season and playoff games.
