Travis Kelce to throw the ‘best party possible’ for Taylor Swift’s birthday, ‘money is no object’: report

Travis Kelce is reportedly planning to pull out all the stops for girlfriend Taylor Swift’s birthday.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is looking to host “the best party possible” for the 12-time Grammy winner, who will turn 34 on Dec. 13.

And it seems as though “money is no object” when it comes to signing on the dotted line, a source told Us Weekly.

“Travis wants to throw the best party possible. Money is not an object and he wants her close friends [there],” the insider told the outlet.

A second source claimed that the NFL superstar will be throwing the bash in New York City, as opposed to his home turf in Kansas City.

Page Six has reached out to Kelce’s reps for comment.

While it’s unclear exactly what kind of party Kelce will be throwing, sources previously told Life & Style that the athlete no doubt “has something special planned” for the “Cruel Summer” singer.

The couple have been spending time together ever since Swift finished the 2023 dates of her Eras Tour last month.

Following her final show of the year in Brazil, the “Anti-Hero” singer flew straight to Kansas City, Mo., to spend time with Kelce in between his games.

The pair even found time to hang out together before Swift wrapped her tour for the year, as Kelce even flew to Argentina on his bye week to support his girlfriend.

What’s more, the “Karma” songstress and the NFL star quietly rang in his 34th birthday together in October.

Page Six exclusively confirmed at the time that Swift had secretly flown to Kansas City to spend the weekend with Kelce; however, the pair opted for a “chill night” in rather than a lavish celebration.

Earlier this month, Swift broke silence over the pair’s relationship, revealing in her Time Person of the Year interview that she and Kelce have actually been together since July.

The “All Too Well” singer explained that the pair “started hanging out right after” Kelce “adorably” tried to give her his phone number at one of her Eras Tour concerts.

“We actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other,” she revealed.

Swift said they were already a “couple” by the time she attended his football game in September.

“I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game?” she shared. “We would never be psychotic enough to hard-launch a first date.”

For his part, Kelce gushed about Swift during an interview with WSJ. Magazine in November, calling her “hilarious” and a “genius.”

“I’ve never been a man of words. Being around her, seeing how smart Taylor is … I’m learning every day,” he said.

  • From one legend to another: Jason Kelce reflects on the enduring influence of Mike Webster and how it has impacted his own journey in the NFL

From one legend to another: Jason Kelce reflects on the enduring influence of Mike Webster and how it has impacted his own journey in the NFL

The Enduring Influence of Mike Webster on Jason Kelce’s Journey

Growing up in Cleveland, Ohio, Jason Kelce was just a young football fan who admired the great players of the past. One player in particular caught his attention – Pittsburgh Steelers center Mike Webster. Even as a kid, Kelce was drawn to Webster’s aggressive style of play and his reputation as a fierce competitor who would do anything to help his team win. He would watch highlight reels of Webster dominating defenders and opening up running lanes, inspired by his tenacity and leadership on the field. Little did Kelce know at the time how much of an impact Webster would have on his own football journey and career.

Webster played center for the Steelers from 1974 to 1988, anchoring the offensive line and helping lead the team to an unprecedented four Super Bowl victories in the 1970s. He was named to the NFL’s 75th Anniversary All-Time Team in recognition of his outstanding play over 15 seasons in black and gold. Off the field, Webster was also respected for his character, work ethic, and commitment to his community. Even in retirement, he continued mentoring younger players and giving back through various charitable causes.

As Kelce progressed through high school and began his college career at the University of Cincinnati, his admiration for Webster only grew stronger. He studied game film of Webster to analyze his technique and tried to emulate his aggressive blocking style. Kelce was impressed not just by Webster’s physical dominance but also his leadership on the field in making line calls and keeping his teammates focused. Webster showed that a center could be the unheralded anchor of a championship offense through sheer grit, determination, and will to win. This resonated deeply with the young Kelce.

In 2010, Kelce had the opportunity to meet Webster in person at a charity event in Pittsburgh. By that time, Webster had been retired for over 20 years but was still actively involved in the community. Kelce was struck by how kind and humble Webster was, despite the physical and mental challenges he had faced post-football. Through their conversation, Kelce gained a new appreciation for the sacrifices players make for the game and the importance of giving back. Webster’s example reinforced Kelce’s belief that football is so much more than what happens between the lines – it’s about the relationships and life lessons the sport provides.

After graduating from Cincinnati in 2011, Kelce entered the NFL Draft and was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the sixth round. As he began his professional career, Kelce carried Webster’s influence with him onto the field. He adopted Webster’s aggressive, physical style of blocking, always looking to drive his opponent backward and create running lanes. Kelce took pride in imposing his will against bigger defensive linemen, just as Webster had done for so many years. Off the field as well, Kelce embraced Webster’s leadership philosophy of putting the team before individual glory or statistics. He focused on bringing people together, communicating effectively, and simply doing his job to the best of his ability.

In his first season with the Eagles, Kelce quickly established himself as a starter and force along the offensive line. His tenacious blocking helped running back LeSean McCoy lead the NFL in rushing yards in 2013. Kelce’s teammates noticed his toughness and dedication to doing the dirty work that often goes unnoticed. Behind the scenes, he worked tirelessly to improve his technique and conditioning, just as Webster had done to extend his career. Kelce’s breakout play earned him his first Pro Bowl selection in 2014, a tribute to how far he had come since being a late-round draft pick.

As Kelce’s career progressed, he found himself taking on more of a vocal leadership role with the Eagles, just like Webster had with the Steelers offensive line. He took great pride in studying opposing defenses, then relaying the calls and adjustments at the line of scrimmage. Kelce pushed his teammates to give their all on every down, just as Webster had demanded from his linemates. Off the field as well, younger Eagles looked to Kelce for mentorship and guidance. He counseled them on work ethic, accountability, and being good teammates – all qualities he admired in Webster.

While building his career in Philadelphia, Kelce also stayed connected to Webster’s legacy through various community initiatives. He participated in fundraising events to support former players suffering from neurological conditions like chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE). Webster himself had been diagnosed with CTE post-mortem, which likely contributed to the depression and memory loss he experienced in retirement. Kelce saw raising CTE awareness as an important way to honor Webster’s memory and help current and former players in need. He also visited youth football camps to share lessons about character, perseverance, and giving back – all virtues embodied by Webster on and off the field.

In 2017, Kelce’s leadership and play were recognized when he was selected as a Pro Bowl starter and All-Pro for the first time. By that point in his career, the influence of Mike Webster was evident in almost every aspect of Kelce’s game and approach. He had proven himself as one of the NFL’s premier blocking centers through sheer grit, toughness, and sacrifice – just as Webster had for so many years in Pittsburgh. But Kelce’s admiration for Webster extended far beyond football X’s and O’s. He saw Webster as a symbol of resilience, leadership, and the importance of leaving a positive legacy through community engagement and mentorship.

In the years since, Kelce has continued striving for improvement while also carrying on Webster’s memory. He earned second-team All-Pro honors again in 2018 and helped lead the Eagles to their first Super Bowl title that season. Kelce’s veteran presence in the locker room has been invaluable for Philadelphia’s sustained success. Off the field as well, he remains one of the NFL’s most active community members, just as Webster was in retirement. Kelce understands that his platform comes with responsibility to support former players and uplift others through challenges both in football and in life.

Now in his 10th season, Kelce is still dominating at the line of scrimmage game after game. But more than that, he has become one of the NFL’s premier leaders – on and off the field. Through his own actions and words, Kelce is ensuring that Mike Webster’s legacy of grit, sacrifice, and giving back will continue to inspire football players for generations. The young fan who was once in awe of Webster’s highlights has grown into a role model himself, leaving his own enduring mark on the game. But it all stems from one man’s example – the late, great Mike Webster, whose influence on Jason Kelce’s journey will never be forgotten.

Curious about the men who challenged Jason Kelce’s dominance on the gridiron? Here’s his personal ranking of toughest opponents

The Toughest Defensive Tackles Jason Kelce Has Faced

Jason Kelce has established himself as one of the best centers in the NFL over the past decade. As the anchor of the Philadelphia Eagles offensive line, Kelce has faced off against some of the top defensive tackles in the league on a regular basis. While he has had tremendous success in his career, there are a few defensive tackles that have given Kelce especially tough matchups over the years. Here are the five defensive tackles that have proven to be the most difficult for Kelce to block.

    Aaron Donald (Los Angeles Rams)

There may not be a more dominant defensive tackle in the entire NFL right now than Aaron Donald of the Los Angeles Rams. The three-time Defensive Player of the Year is an absolute nightmare for opposing offensive lines. At 6’1 and 280 pounds, Donald has a rare combination of size, strength, quickness, and athleticism that allows him to wreak havoc in the backfield on a weekly basis.

Kelce has had to go up against Donald in the NFC West division multiple times over the past few seasons and it has never been an easy task. Donald’s get-off at the snap is lightning quick and he has an array of pass rushing moves that leave blockers grasping at air. Even with Kelce’s tremendous technique and leverage ability, Donald’s combination of power and finesse is extremely difficult to contain on a consistent basis.

In one particular matchup in 2019, Donald simply took over the game. He recorded four sacks, six quarterback hits, and consistently blew past Kelce and the Eagles offensive line. It was one of the most dominant defensive line performances perhaps of all-time. Kelce acknowledged after the game how special of a player Donald is. “He’s one of the best in the league for a reason. He’s an incredible athlete, he’s strong, he’s quick. He gave us fits all game long.”

    Fletcher Cox (Philadelphia Eagles)

As a longtime teammate, Kelce knows Fletcher Cox’s game inside and out. But that familiarity does not make Cox any easier to block. The Eagles Pro Bowl defensive tackle is one of the most disruptive interior pass rushers in the NFL thanks to his combination of size, power, and quickness.

At 6’4 and 310 pounds, Cox has the size to hold his own against double teams in the run game. But he also has the athleticism and technique to consistently beat one-on-one blocks and get into the backfield. Kelce has had many battles with Cox in practice over the years and knows just how explosive he can be off the snap.

In a 2018 matchup against the Eagles, Cox was nearly unblockable. He recorded 2.5 sacks, three quarterback hits, and constantly pushed the pocket into Carson Wentz’s face. Kelce struggled mightily to keep Cox out of the backfield. After the game, Cox credited his success to studying Kelce’s tendencies. “I know how he sets. I know the tricks he likes to use.” Even against a close friend and teammate, Cox can be a nightmare to block.

    Geno Atkins (Cincinnati Bengals)

From 2010 to 2015, Geno Atkins established himself as one of the premier interior pass rushers in the NFL as a member of the Cincinnati Bengals. The four-time Pro Bowler was a menace up the middle thanks to his lightning quick first step off the ball and relentless motor.

Kelce faced off against Atkins multiple times a year in the AFC North and it was always a battle. At 6’1 and 300 pounds, Atkins didn’t have elite size but he more than made up for it with technique and explosiveness. He was a master of using his hands to shed blocks and could knife into the backfield before blockers even realized what happened.

In one 2014 matchup, Atkins totally took over the game. He finished with three sacks, five quarterback hits, and was in the Eagles backfield on nearly every passing down. Kelce struggled mightily to keep up with Atkins’ first step and array of pass rushing moves. After the game, Kelce said Atkins was “probably the quickest player I’ve ever gone up against. He’s a special talent for sure.” Even in his prime, Atkins gave Kelce fits with his speed and power.

    Chris Jones (Kansas City Chiefs)

As one of the newest faces on this list, Chris Jones is still early in his career but has already established himself as one of the premier defensive tackles in the NFL. At 6’6 and 310 pounds, Jones is an absolute monster of an athlete who is still tapping into his full potential.

Kelce faced off against Jones for the first and only time so far in 2018 as a member of the Chiefs. Even in that lone matchup, it was clear Jones was a special talent. He finished with six tackles, two sacks, and was in the Eagles backfield all game long. His combination of size, strength, and athleticism made him nearly impossible for Kelce to handle one-on-one.

After the game, Kelce raved about Jones’ raw abilities. “That’s a huge man that can really move. He’s explosive and he’s strong. To be that big and move like that is really impressive.” Jones is still just 25 years old but is already one of the most disruptive defensive tackles in the league. Kelce knows if they meet again in the future, Jones will be an even tougher challenge with more experience under his belt.

    DeForest Buckner (San Francisco 49ers)

As a member of the San Francisco 49ers, DeForest Buckner has established himself as one of the most well-rounded defensive tackles in football. At 6’7 and 300 pounds, Buckner has the ideal size to hold up against the run but he also has the athleticism and technique to be a factor as a pass rusher.

Kelce has faced off against Buckner multiple times a season since Buckner entered the league in 2016. While not an elite speed rusher, Buckner wins with power, length, and leverage. He is incredibly difficult to move off his spot and can extend his arms to keep blockers off his body. Even with Kelce using excellent technique, Buckner is so big and strong that he often pushes the pocket even when not recording stats.

In a 2019 matchup, Buckner was nearly unblockable. He finished with nine tackles, two sacks, and was in on nearly every play. Kelce acknowledged Buckner’s all-around game makes him a “load to handle.” Even for a veteran like Kelce, Buckner presents a unique challenge due to his rare size and strength at the defensive tackle position.

    Conclusion

Over the past decade, Jason Kelce has established himself as one of the best centers in the NFL. But even for a player of his caliber, there are some defensive tackles that are simply nightmares to block on a consistent basis. Aaron Donald, Fletcher Cox, Geno Atkins, Chris Jones, and DeForest Buckner all bring unique skills and talents that have given Kelce especially tough matchups throughout his career.

While Kelce has had tremendous individual success and helped his team to a Super Bowl title, these elite defensive tackles are constant reminders that no blocker is perfect. They represent the cream of the crop at the defensive tackle position and highlight just how difficult it is to win matchups against the best interior pass rushers in football. Kelce may have met his match against this stellar group of disruptors

From Locker Room to Lombardi: How Jason Kelce Forged a Culture of Trust Leading to Championship Success

The Heart and Soul of the Eagles: How Jason Kelce Built Trust for Championship Teamwork

When the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII, it marked the franchise’s first championship in over 50 years. While many players contributed to the team’s success, few were as vital to its cohesion and resilience as center Jason Kelce. As the unquestioned leader of the Eagles’ offensive line, Kelce played a pivotal role in establishing the trust, communication, and work ethic necessary to overcome adversity and achieve ultimate victory. Through his dedication, transparency, accountability, team-building efforts, and positive reinforcement, Kelce fostered an environment of championship teamwork.

    Leading by Example

One of the primary ways Kelce built trust among his teammates was by leading by example through an unmatched work ethic and commitment to preparation. A three-time Pro Bowler and two-time second-team All-Pro, Kelce is considered one of the NFL’s top centers due to his technical skill, intelligence, and physical toughness. However, what often goes unnoticed is just how hard Kelce pushes himself in the film room, weight room, and during practice. He arrives earliest and leaves latest, constantly studying opponents’ tendencies and refining his own techniques. During the offseason, Kelce spares no expense in his training, pushing his body to its limits with grueling workouts.

By putting in extra time and effort himself, Kelce sets the standard for what is expected and required to succeed at the highest level. His teammates know he will be fully prepared, so they have no choice but to match his dedication if they want to keep up. Kelce leads by example in how he cares for his body through diet, sleep, and recovery as well. On gameday, his teammates follow his example as the hardest worker on the field, whether it’s finishing blocks through the final whistle or helping lift up fallen players. Leading by example through an unmatched work ethic and preparation has earned Kelce immense respect in the locker room and inspired those around him to reach new levels.

    Communication and Transparency

Another hallmark of Kelce’s leadership is his emphasis on open communication and transparency within the team. As the quarterback of the offensive line, Kelce spends countless hours studying film and devising strategies. However, rather than keeping this information to himself, he ensures everyone is on the same page through detailed scouting reports and discussion. Kelce encourages questions and critiques from his teammates, welcoming different perspectives to strengthen their plans. He makes certain that even the youngest linemen understand their assignments and responsibilities fully before games.

Furthermore, Kelce creates an environment where everyone feels comfortable speaking their mind. During practices and games, he can be heard constantly talking with and motivating those around him. But Kelce also listens intently to feedback, both positive and negative, incorporating it to improve. For instance, after a loss he may call out specific mistakes but also what went right and how to build upon successes. By fostering transparent dialogue, Kelce maintains strong communication throughout the entire unit. As a result, trust is built as players know Kelce has their backs and wants what’s best for the team above all else.

    Accountability

While Kelce excels at positively reinforcing his teammates, he also holds those around him accountable. Few leaders have the respect and authority to call out mistakes or lackluster efforts directly, but Kelce does so in a constructive manner focused on improvement rather than public shaming. He pulls individuals aside after poor performances to frankly but supportively discuss where they can elevate their game. Kelce demands accountability not just from younger players but also veterans and stars. At the same time, he also holds himself just as responsible, the first to admit when he could have blocked or made a call better.

By creating a culture where no one is above accountability, Kelce empowers his teammates to also police one another. They understand that being called out is meant to help, not hurt, and mistakes will be addressed privately rather than festering issues. As a result, the Eagles play with discipline and leave little on the field, confident that their leader and teammates will back them up but also ensure they are playing to their potential. Accountability is a hallmark of championship teams, and Kelce established himself as the pillar enforcing it for the Eagles.

    Building Cohesion

Beyond X’s and O’s, Kelce recognized the importance of true cohesion and chemistry among teammates that extends beyond the field. He actively works to build strong personal relationships within the locker room and offensive line room through organized team activities. For instance, Kelce leads group outings to bond over dinner or games, providing an opportunity for players and position groups that may not interact as much to connect on a deeper level. He also frequently invites younger or newer players into his home to help them acclimate to Philadelphia.

Kelce also fosters cohesion through his lively, charismatic personality in the locker room. With his long hair flowing and infectious smile, Kelce keeps things lighthearted to relieve pressure during difficult weeks. However, he can also deliver rousing pregame speeches to fire up his teammates. Ultimately, Kelce understands that championship teams play not just for the name on the front but the name on the back – and his efforts to strengthen human connections have created a tight-knit brotherhood in Philadelphia. The Eagles play with relentless energy, confidence, and trust in one another that stems directly from the cohesion Kelce has instilled.

    Positive Reinforcement

While demanding accountability, Kelce also makes sure to positively reinforce efforts and successes, both big and small. He is the first to praise linemen for key blocks, making clutch protection adjustments, or simply grinding out tough practices. Kelce showers young players with encouragement as they develop. When the Eagles achieve milestones, Kelce is front and center celebrating with teammates, keeping the good vibes rolling. His infectious enthusiasm spreads throughout the locker room.

Kelce also delivers public acknowledgment, such as calling out linemen for awards or accolades they earn. He sends around game balls to those who stood out. These small acts of positive reinforcement go a long way, helping develop confidence within the unit and preventing complacency after wins. Kelce’s praise is also always sincere, so players know he genuinely believes in their abilities. By maintaining a positive atmosphere focused on growth and accomplishments, Kelce has fostered an environment where Eagles can freely play to their potential without fear of reprisal for mistakes. His encouragement has been integral to the team’s mental toughness.

    Championship Caliber Leadership

Through his tireless work ethic, open communication, accountability, team-building efforts, and positive reinforcement, Jason Kelce has established himself as one of the premier leaders in the NFL. He sets the standard both on and off the field for what it takes to compete at a championship level. Kelce’s teammates clearly trust and respect him completely based on how they have rallied behind his guidance to achieve the ultimate prize.

While statistics cannot fully capture Kelce’s value and impact, it is telling he has started every game the past five seasons for one of the league’s most successful franchises. Kelce is the heart and soul of the Eagles, keeping everyone united through adversity and success alike. His brand of selfless, authentic leadership has been the glue holding Philadelphia’s championship roster together. With Kelce as their bellwether, the Eagles remain poised to compete for more Super Bowls in the future.

On Wednesday, Jason and Travis revealed to Schwarzenegger that they are both respectively lining up careers in Hollywood, as they told the Austrian superstar that they were actually in Los Angeles interviewing for parts.

Travis also admitted to Schwarzenegger that he tried to adopt his ’80 percent vegan diet,’ but gave up after a week.

Back in November, Schwarzenegger appeared on the ManningCast during an NFL game between the L.A. Chargers and New York Jets, as he appeared to bizarrely feed his pet donkey, Lulu, live on air.

The former Governor of California also owns a pet pig called Schnelly, a mini pony who goes by Whiskey, and four puppies: Cherry, Noodle, Dutch and Schnitzel.

The animals and their owner live in a six-acre estate in Brentwood – one of L.A.’s most affluent neighborhoods.

‘I’m very fortunate that I can afford animals like that, or have the space for animals like that, or have the time now because of the coronavirus where I can stay home most of the time,’ Schwarzenegger once told Fox 5 Atlanta during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020.
